It’s a good exercise to look at your early work from time to time. It’s a window back to who you were and what you were up to. And sometimes you’ll uncover a gem.

I shot this photo in college for the fashion section of CM Life, the campus newspaper.

I’m not saying this is a gem. It’s not a profound, lasting image. But it is interesting to me.

Nancy and Jodi are looking into a mirror, and I love the way the middle Nancy dominates the center of the picture. Nancy’s huge mane of thick hair is impressive, isn’t it?

I photographed Nancy and Jodi several more times while at college.

We can’t do it alone, and we photographers are fortunate to work with great people. That’s been my life story for a long time.

hi

if anyone is in the mid michigan area,

would you care to meet up at some point?

i’m fat, so please don’t hate fat people.

also, this isn’t for sexing. i’m not looking to get my fuck on, i’m just looking to make more friends.

p.s. i don’t drive so i would have to be picked up or we’d have to figure out how to meet up…

“We have 11 auditoriums, all 11 are playing Hunger Games. The first (showing) is at 12:01 a.m. then the second one is at 12:05 a.m. and then every five minutes,” Celebration Cinema general manager Chris Couling said. “All 11 theaters are sold out.”
