The telelever front end has been binned in favour of a more traditional set-up. Those forks actually come from the Beemer’s biggest competitor—a KTM 1190—and deliver extended travel and a lofty seat height, to accommodate the bike’s 6’ 6” owner.
The forks and the revised rear @ohlinsracing suspension add three inches to this scrambler’s rock hopping abilities.

#WhipItWednesday is all about whipping your motorcycle,” explains 33-year-old professional motocross racer Billy Laninovich (@billylaninovich). “Whipping is throwing your dirt bike sideways or upside down,” he says. The hashtag highlights the motorcycle-mad community on Instagram. Billy’s tips on getting the best video: “Try not to shoot directly into the sun so there isn’t any blur, and keep the object in the center of the camera as much as possible.” He adds, “I don’t recommend trying this unless you are a very experienced rider.”
