top five most likely to make forbes' thirty under thirty list?
Hello bean! For those who don’t know, the “30 under 30″ it’s a set of lists issued annually by Forbes magazine that features 600 of the brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents and change agents in 20 different sectors. All our boys are so talented and I guess a lot of them could have a shot to appear in these lists…so let’s see:
1. Tsukishima. Category: Education. To me Tsukishima is the master of life hacks. He’s determined to live a life at the highest lever of efficiency, not stealing a single precious second of his time from the things that really are meaningful to him. His aim wasn’t to change people’s life but his own, he created an app to help him take better and more organized notes for college and ended up being one of the youngest and richest entrepreneurs on the planet. You go, Tsukki, make us all a little more intelligent!
2. Bokuto. Category: Sports. He won’t be the first and the only one of the boys who will eventually make a living out of volleyball, but for sure he’s gonna be the most inspiring of them all. He has outstanding abilities, as a player and as a leader; a lot of people will look up to him and so many boys and girls will start playing just because of the light he emanates.
3. Kenma. Category: Games. Probably one day Kenma will get so bored of all the games on the market that he’ll design one that could fulfill all his requests himself and end up creating the most epic and addicting game…ever. Not that he wanted to, it just kinda happened. And he’s very much bothered by the mention on the list, while Kuroo will brag about it until the end of time.
4. Ennoshita. Category: Entertainment. I’m so here for director!Ennoshita, I’m more than sure that his exceptional talent behind the camera will lead him very far. His summer training camp video diaries went viral on youtube thanks to his unique focus more on the feeling and the people rather than on the game itself. They are gonna describe him as the living definition of the word Storyteller. (p.s. GIVE ME THE DIARIES ENNOSHITA!!!!)
5. Ushijima. Category: Energy. Ok this is silly and the most predicable one ever but…what if Ushi our boy really loved planet earth so much that he vowed to protect it at all costs. I don’t know in which energy field he will succeed, but I’m sure that when he’ll be asked why he chose this path in life he will answer “I just wanted to grant all the excellent seedlings of this world a suitably excellent soil”. If he was talking about plants or people, interviewers couldn’t tell.

I really admire your qualities and I learn a lot from reading your blog. I was wondering if you could give me any advice on taking care of myself since I've been dealing with my usual anxiety as well as depression recently. So, since I deal with anxiety a lot, and occasionally depression, and am prone to anxiety attacks; as well as having a lot of friends who struggle with anxiety, depression, and anxiety and panic attacks; I’ve been very interested in various relaxation/stress relief methods. Now, obviously, the most effective things are finding a good therapist and maybe discussing prescription medications, but not everyone has access to that, or perhaps the situation doesn’t require it right that second, and then it’s useful to have some alternative methods.
I’ve seen a lot of posts on tumblr with links to various calming sites, and while some I really like, some don’t help me personally so much. Plus I’ve found other sites elsewhere around the web that also help that I haven’t seen here yet. So I thought it wouldn’t hurt to post my personal list.
The more I’ve worked on this, too, the more it’s become a masterpost for all kinds of helpful websites for understanding and coping with anxiety and depression. So, the sites near the top are more for immediate stress relief, while the sites near the bottom are more for long-term mental health care. I hope this is helpful for somebody. ^__^
Nature Sounds For Me - I know rainymood.com is pretty popular right now, but I just found this site and I think I like it better. It lets you mix your own set of up to 4 ambient tracks of nature and other calming sounds, and lets you adjust volumes and frequencies for them, and then they just keep playing nonstop. I have one going right now that’s rain, thunder, wind through leaves, and crickets.
AudioEntrainment - In case you don’t know what they are, isochronic tones and binaural beats are ambient sounds with specific frequencies/pulse rates that are meant to coax your brain rhythms into syncing up and inducing different energy states. From what I’ve read, I believe they have been shown in studies to help with relaxation, meditation, and sleep at the very least, though some claim to do everything from help you quit smoking to astral projection. If nothing else, it’s nice white noise. Here’s one that’s specifically designed for anxiety and depression.
Top 10 Most Relaxing Songs - If you aren’t on a site or video with included music, this article has links to youtube videos for 10 songs that studies have concluded to be the most relaxing.
Stress Analyst - A site designed to help talk you down from a stressful experience.
Player 2 - This site helps talk you through conflicts with other people.
The Thoughts Room - If the above two sites don’t provide what you’re looking for, this site is a place to just pour out all the things you’re thinking and want to say but feel like you can’t or shouldn’t.
Calm.com - Guided relaxation sessions up to 20 minutes with nature sounds and calming graphics.
MoodGym - Haven’t tried this myself, but it’s supposed to be an interactive site with various ‘modules’ to help with depression and anxiety.
The Nicest Place On The Internet - A website full of people giving you hugs! I know it’s not actual physical hugs, but it never fails to make me smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Calming Manatee - The most heartwarming place for comforting and encouraging words.
Self-Help Anxiety Management - This is a smartphone app to help track your anxiety over time, identify stressful situations, and manage your anxiety. I haven’t used it much yet, but I just downloaded it. It’s available on both droids and iphones.
I also like to employ aromatherapy candles and diffusers, and calming herbal teas when they’re available. Those would likely require their own masterpost, however, and aren’t always available to someone in need of immediate calming, so they’re not on this list. If/when I get a post about those made, though, I’ll link it here.
Silk - An interactive art site that is very meditative. Reminds me of those posts about how drawing the infinity/figure eight or watching fish swim is a therapeutic technique. It also has lovely music.
If these aren’t doing it for you, check out some of the suggestions in the Additional Resources links, such as making a glitter jar, cooking comfort food, doing crafts or art projects, taking a walk, etc. I also enjoy distracting myself by researching and reading about topics that interest me and/or making pointless lists of things (TV shows I like, game mods I’d like to download, ingredients for recipes, etc.).
Psychologists vs. Psychiatrists - Understanding the difference between these two types of mental health professionals. From personal experience, I would advise seeking out a psychologist over a psychiatrist for talking through stressful situations, but a psychiatrist over a family or personal doctor for obtaining and monitoring prescriptions. It is perfectly alright to have more than one doctor helping you, as well, since different doctors have different specialties. (I have both a psychologist and a psychiatrist for my anxiety)
In general, remember that mental illness is a legitimate illness, their feelings are real, even if they don’t always show, and they can’t just ‘get over it’ and many cannot be ‘cured’ or ‘fixed’. If they are exhibiting self-destructive behavior, remember that it’s a coping mechanism for underlying stressors. Focus on what is causing them to feel like they need this behavior, not the behavior itself. Listen to what they say they are feeling and take it at face value, don’t dismiss or devalue their emotions. Emotions may be irrational, but they are never ‘wrong’. People with mental illnesses are human beings, are not broken, and deserve respect and love.

I’M ALIVE! I’ve been obsessed with Mystic Messenger lately so I thought I’d get some of my feelings out by writing a headcanon! I haven’t played Jaehee’s route yet, but if you guys want one written let me know! Hope you like it.
He’d signed into the messenger with the intention of showing
off his most recent selfie, but when he noticed you weren’t online, he
hesitated. He could post his selfie in
the chatroom anyway—since, he figured, you’d see it eventually—but what good
was that when he craved your reaction more than anything? Err…why is that? He wondered vaguely, though he didn’t linger on
the thought for long when your name appeared on his screen.
Immediately, he sent the selfie— in
it, he was looking smug with a towel around his shoulders, his white hair still
dripping wet from the shower—and captioned very modestly, “Hot shower.”
You sent an
adorable string of hearts, but then:
MC “…Do you want
me? Because looking at you now, I….”
collapsed from the shock of your text, from the strange thrill that flowed
through his veins like electricity.
hardly form a coherent sentence with the flurry of words exploding at the
forefront of his aroused mind, but he loved

He couldn’t help but check the messenger every half hour. He
was always excited knowing you might be online, and this excitement made his
hands tremble every time he signed in. He’d more than once had to re-enter his
username and password, since his fingers seemed to rush as if they couldn’t
wait another second.

MC “Haha. It’s

The way his
hands were jittering, he might as well have been stuttering in his texts. He
failed to think of any conceivable way to hide his embarrassment, so he rambled

things about you that he liked as if he were reciting a business proposal, with
ease and with confidence. Your certainty. Your determination. Your drive for
success in the mission that was the RFA. He listed these in his mind as if he
were compiling your résumé.

entered the RFA. He liked control. He liked dominance. He licked his lips as if

JUMIN “Hmm…I’d rather have
you submit to me instead…”
pleased with your reaction then, when you simply sent a blushing emoji. He
almost gave in to you… Almost.
Seven was grinning as he watched Yoosung freak out in the
chatroom. You had followed Seven’s lead in teasing Yoosung, ganging up on the
claim that “staring at a screen all day will make your eyes stuck!!!” He
laughed at the notion that Yoosung hadn’t logically realized that Seven himself
stared at a computer screen all day, every day, and what made it better was when
you played along. Usually the other members would simply ignore him, scold him,
or dismiss his silliness with a roll of their eyes. But you—you were different,
and you were fun. Plus, you gave him a purpose, and that was protecting you
with his life.
It didn’t hurt that you were nice
to look at, too.
You sent him
a private message after exiting the chatroom:
MC “God Seven needs
to recharge after sharing so much wisdom!”
Hah…She could tell, huh? Even though you
couldn’t see him, you knew how exhausted he was. That was just one of your
superpowers that he admired.
707 “If the goddess
requests it, God Seven shall listen!”

Harvest Moon is one of the most addicting games ever. At first, when I saw it in my PSP memory card, I was like ‘meh, let’s try this game’. When I entered as a girl in Boy & Girl, I don’t know why I did expected the game to be like one of those lame old RPG games, but after I started growing turnips, I was really hooking into the game. I didn’t want to stop!
