concept- you see your favourite band in a tiny venue. it’s personal and sweaty and you get the shit kicked out of you in the mosh pit. the feel the bass in your chest and you realise that’s where you want to be for the rest of your life.
The world you know is changing, nothing is more evidence of that then the superstructure to which you now stood. Your first official visit to the NEXUS, the hub of these aliens efforts. Crowded with species of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
To say it was a little intimidating would be an UNDERSTATEMENT
There was much for you to see, and many for you to meet. And your only instruction was to meet your guide and guardian during your visit upon your disembarking. A turian by the name of Kandros, supposedly a rather important figure here. ‘ Only the best for your protection and guidance ‘ you’d been reassured.
You would be the judge of that, nothing since the Kett will ever quite qualm your concerns fully. Perhaps this Kandros fellow will impress you.
IT’S NOT QUITE A MYSTERY *gets up* I’M THE ONE WHO’S INSECURE *starts walking* YOU’RE THE ONE THAT MAKES BELIEVE *aggressively flips table* THAT WE’RE ALL OKAY, WE’RE DOING FINE *lays on flipped table* WHEN WE’RE BOTH JUST FIGHTING TO STAY, *curls up in ball* TO STAY ALIVE *starts crying*
So fascinating how the Neal love/hate is so equally divided in CS…my dash is all ups and downs… no in betweens.
I guess I’m the in-between.
I have no strong feelings on him really, other than I thought he was as much a plot device for Rumple’s, Emma’s and Killian’s stories as he was meant to be a foil when compared with the Captain Swan relationship. Much like Milah’s purpose.
For me, he served that purpose well. I understood all those characters better through learning more about Baelfire/Neal and Milah. I felt sadness when he died, for Emma and Rumple. And…I thought adolescent Baelfire was really well acted and loved him with the Darling family.
Most of all, I liked that they showed that Neal knew that Killian truly loved Emma - it’s who he chooses above all to send the bird to.
We’re going to the land of the dead and I knew we’d see him because of the spoilers, but I’m pretty sure this will be satisfying to lovers and haters of Neal. Lovers of Neal will get some closure and haters…will know that he’s only filmed one scene and he’s not coming back, it appears.
All I want is for Henry to get closure - and to hear whatever warning Neal is giving, because I suspect it’s plotty.
