For girls and students of color, the playing field in science, technology, engineering and math isn’t level yet. But it could be, with your help.
Last summer I became an intern at an awesome animation company, Mosa Mack: Science Detective, that provides free science resources for elementary students, teachers, and parents.
Mosa Mack: Science Detective is an animated series that aims to empower students to be critical thinkers and engaged members of their communities. The STEM fields (Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering) need to become more diverse, and students need to feel empowered to be part of it. Mosa Mack: Science Detective showcases characters from underrepresented communities in STEM utilizing critical thinking to solve science mysteries. You can watch the trailer here!
If you go to our page at Indigogo, you can watch our campaign video, and learn more about what Mosa Mack is about, and how your contribution could make a difference in education.
