morphin art

Hi!!!!♡ i apologize once again for being gone for awhile – i just got out of the hospital yesterday as i had to have surgery but i do have one piece of art i can post now! tried colouring in a different style - i hope you like it! ♡

Mokumokuren

from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, 1994. Designed by Tamotsu Shinohara.

It’s a kids show, but Kakuranger featured this exhibitionist monster. Not only that: under his greatcoat he’s not naked; WORSE. He has dozens of eyes! Genius and creepy.

Barbara La Marr´s corpse

The girl who was too beautiful to live died in 1926 in obscure circumstances. Her drug and alcohol abuse and her agitated lifestyle contributed to her death. Being one of the early super-beautiful stars and Mayer´s favorite, she was later honored by having her last name passed to another super beautiful woman: Hedy Lamarr.

The Three Gorma Idiots: Boss Kamikaze, Teacher Telephone and Company President Gravestone

from Gosei Sentai Dairanger, 1993. Designed by Michael Harawata (a.k.a. Kyuto Oida).

These are pretty genius, especially Gravestone, whom can open his grave-head like a zippo and trasform himself into a flamethrower.

Count Kaleidoscope

from Gosei Sentai Dairanger, 1993. Designed by Michael Harawata (a.k.a. Kyuto Oida).

When I was a little kid, Scatterbrain (Power Rangers’ adaptation of Count Kaleidoscope) creepily amazed me. This time, I add photographic material and not just the official artwork, because in my opinion the final product is even more gorgeous and elaborated.
