How to set the tone for a good day

1.31.17 004

Had a three-hour school delay due to snow #blessed So here are a few tips on how to start off a good productive day! Hope you enjoy :) Also I’m not saying if you don’t do one of these your day is going to suck it’s just (hopefully) going to make it a bit better.

1. Wake up on time

Waking up on time gives you a (hopefully) stress-free start you don’t have to rush and that means less anxiety/worrying

2.  Have some coffee or tea

While getting ready make yourself a tea or coffee or anything caffeinated. You’ll get energy to start your day and for me it just makes the morning go by easier

3. Bring some caffeine on the go

When I get to school not having a tea or coffee first period really makes my day a bit worse. (I’m that addicted) Fun Fact; studies are showing people who drink lots of coffee (5 cups a day) are actually healthier [Sourse]

4. While getting ready listen to music or watch your favorite show

Every morning I watch Supernatural while putting on my makeup and it really helps get me up and out of bed giving me something small to look forward to

5. Have everything done the night before

Whether it be homework, work, picking out an outfit, having your bag packed do it the night before you do not want to be scrambling around and turn up late

6. Make your food ahead of time

If possible make your food the night before, this can also go towards breakfast while getting ready. I usually scoop out some cottage cheese in a bowl so I can just take it right out of the fridge and eat

7. Stretch or do some yoga

If you can take five minutes just to stretch or do a few warm up exercises, get the blood flowing and feel more awake. You can even do it while your coffee is brewing

Aria

We all saw a different side of Aria in this episode. She said she learnt how to hack “this morning” but there is no way she learnt how to do all that hacking in one morning, plus she was distracted with Nicole on the news. And the way she pinned Nicole against the wall was pretty quick. I dont think she is A but i’m looking forward to see her reveal.

Worst Patient on the Enterprise

The title pretty much says it all. A fluffy fic revolving around Bones being known as “the worst patient on the Enterprise.”

You were woken up at three in the morning to a hacking cough. You weren’t particularly surprised since he’d been coughing ever since he’d traveled down to a new planet two days ago.

“Leonard,” you mumbled sleepily as you turned over opening your eyes a little to see him sitting up coughing.

His coughing stopped for a minute, but another fit came on before he could say anything. You reached over and rubbed his back as you sat up.

“Do you need to go to Med Bay?” you asked.

“I’m fine.” He shook his head as he got up and got a drink of water.

“That cough says otherwise. It’s getting worse.”

“It’s fine. It’s just a cough. Nothing I can’t handle.” He got back into bed and laid down.

You sighed as you laid back down. “Come here,” you gestured him closer until his head was resting on the bottom of your chest. “Please get an exam in the morning.” You rubbed his arm gently as you felt his breathing steady as he fell asleep, occasionally coughing in his sleep. You closed your eyes, your thumb continuing to rub his shoulder mindlessly as you drifted back to sleep.

We get it, you vape. What's next? Neon blue under glow on your wheel chair?

You know, the we get it you vape thing stopped being funny a long time ago. I smoked a pack a day at least for like eight years. Your memes don’t bother me when I can wake up in the morning and not hack my lungs out for ten minutes. Now kindly go fuck yourself.

Facebook account hacked

Okay, so, my account was hacked earlier this morning and the hack came from Sherebrooke, Quebec City.

Please, if you receive a “video” from someone in your Facebook messenger DO NOT CLICK ON IT OR USE YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO LOG INTO IT TO VERIFY IT’S YOU! That is how they steal your personal login information and send every one of your friends the same hack!

Please, reblog and spread the news!

#1: Washi Tape

If you want a simple pattern or solid color washi tape, don’t waste your money. Go on google and look up the color or pattern you want, copy and paste to Word, crop it to make it into a strip, make the strip longer so that it reaches both ends of the paper and then copy/paste the cropped image however many times you want, finally, print and cut it out to stick wherever you want. I do this all the time.

Enjoyed an early morning hack around the Ostrich Ranch today with my friend and her mare Sunny. The sky was brittle bright, and clear when we set out, but as we finished the first high wisps of cirrus were drifting across.

It was a laid-back ride, which nearly didn’t happen - Snowflake tried to follow me onto the Ostrich Ranch, which is not allowed, and though she stayed on her side of the fence she would not go home, and Sunny balked at riding past the workers’ cottages on her own. In the end, Snowflake stayed put, Sunny plucked up her courage, and we met on the far side of the parking lot, though Abba had to negotiate two buses full of children first. In an example of human recklessness, I rode her by on a long rein, texting my friend to let her know that I was finally on my way, while Abba looked suspiciously at the large tin cans which were yelling loudly and disgorging the occasional human. She had to stop once to snort, but a touch of my calf and she went on.

As you can see, we are in our bareback setup - the huge squishy endurance numnah with the surcingle and the breast plate to keep it all in place. It still slides horribly and requires constant readjustment, but it won’t pinch her, so I can live with the slipping.

I landed up dismounting so that we could trot - I don’t know that Abba’s back will ever be good enough for sitting trot in a saddle, let alone bareback, and we had a fun little jog on the sand track next to the polo field. It was really lovely - the whole ride was low pressure after the initial stress about meeting up, and the horses were so much calmer about the ostriches. (Also, the cheetahs stalked Abba along the fence line on our way out, looking very predatory, but she just ambled on by, ignoring them. I imagine she knows she can take them both. Either that, or she has no idea that they’re supposed to be dangerous.)
