I decided to make the little child that Mae and Bea have as an actual OC so… Here she is. The little trash child known as Cassandra ‘Astra’ Borowski-Santello, or ‘Casey’ for short.

Yes the nickname was Mae’s idea, and her middle name since she was born on Longest Night. Also she can see ‘ghosts’ with her nightmare eyes… As well as her ‘Uncle’ CC (or the ‘real’ Casey).

Do you know what love is? I’ll tell you: it is whatever you can still betray.

“Gon, You are light. Sometimes you shine so brightly, I must look away. But even so, is it still okay for me to stay by your side?

Get your jewel-thieving ass out of your misery fortress and help us drag the shit out of Morgoth.

- Maedhros Fëanorion, in an early draft of a letter to King Elu Thingol, the Silmarillion, Of the Fifth Battle: Nirnaeth Arnoediad

That man was once a king,
Until he lost everything.

My feeling is that, knock on wood, if it came around again, it wouldn’t be a bad thing for it to be four or five years later. That might actually be kind of interesting. How weird would that be, on a personal level, to find yourself back with those people? ‘So… where did we leave off?’ It’s such a strange idea, but it’s potentially very healthy for a story like that. So we’ll see. I know where we stood at the end of Season 3, in terms of what he was thinking about. And it did reflect some elements of Silence of the Lambs… He loves that source material, as he would tell you. [Bryan] envisioned taking some elements of that novel and reworking it through the Will-Hannibal relationship… I think it would be more through the filter of Bryan

❝ Love comes in all shapes and sizes, and for me, this was it. It was in him; in that laugh, that smile, the way that he was, who he was. It all added up. My heart was broken, but it took about two seconds of looking into his eyes for it to heal. Crazy, isn’t it? How there’s always that one person who makes your heart ache in a good way. Everybody’s is different, but for me, it was always him。  —— Unknown

We know the flowers’ petals will fall someday, and yet still, we’re entranced by them.

Chuukyuu Youkai, Natsume Yuujinchou Go

When you realize that by “flowers’ petals will fall someday” also means how fragile humans are and how short their life is.

This is something that has been said over and over again throughout the five seasons of Natsume Yuujinchou. Humans’ lives are fleeting. They’ll be gone before you know it. So it’s best not to get too attached to them. Some decide to leave before they get hurt. Some decide to stay and not care. Some try to make the best of the time they have.

This is really beautiful, yet sad at the same time.

Part of how the abuser escapes confronting himself is by convincing you that you are the cause of his behaviour, or that you at least share the blame.

But abuse is not a product of bad relationship dynamics, and you cannot make things better by changing your own behaviour or by attempting to manage your partner better.

Abuse is a problem that lies entirely within the abuser.
