Anyway. During the two years MK ✨absent✨ Pigsy, begrudgingly, would have to get someone to deliver his noodles. At first, Mei volunteered, because, you know, it was temporary
Then it became less temporary as the week passed, and became more of a bitter habit.
Pigsy after a few months would talk to Mei like:
“… I can get someone else to do the deliveries Mei.”
“No! I’ll deliver them. It’ll only be until MK gets back. You don’t need to get a replacement for him. He’ll be back any day now, I can feel it.”

If I said anything else my friends would tell me I’m lying…. I have an extremely bad habit of not taking care of myself. There I said it. So Mei don’t come for me I’m being honest !! 😮💨
But I’ve gotten better after a couple of close calls- definitely a lesson everyone needs at some point in their lives, it’s okay to take breaks once in a while.

thinking about season 1 episode 9 and how, in squashed apricots, instead of it being macaque’s kaiju its mk’s
just him in training unknowingly causing his kaiju to summon near the city and it slowly draining his energy and magic. him still getting that call from mei to come help but instead of mac being there, hes just met with a kaiju that looks awfully like his baba’s… mk just disburses it anyway without much thought and goes about the rest of his day only for it to come back the next day and he starts noticing it isnt really doing much but sitting there. so he goes to get mac because he thinks mac summoned it, but mac’s like “uh.. no, i think this is actually yours kiddo”
