We have received the first filming letter of the season! Filming is coming!!

Filming Date: May 4th 2015
Time: 7:00am – 9:00pm
Road closures: The intersection of Truitt Street (State Route 85) and McClain Road

This is a POSSIBLE location for Monday’s filming. The property is an old car lot, (pictured below) which is now all grown over and looking rather post-apocalyptic. We will track this location through the week to confirm filming.

James Spader on location

Excerpt from News Day:

For a two-day shoot Monday and Tuesday, the NBC drama starring James Spader and Megan Boone is turning the venerable Youngs Farm of Old Brookville into a trio of Iowa locations. The main farm stand on Hegemans Lane is being dressed to look like a hardware store, one of the barns will impersonate a feed-storage facility and “the roads surrounding the farm will be the site of a police checkpoint and a car-and-foot chase on the show,” says a spokeswoman for Sony Pictures Television, a producer of the show along with Davis Entertainment.

The episode, “Eli Machette,” is scheduled to air third in Season 3, which begins Oct. 1. The scenes shot at Youngs include star Spader, said farm manager Tim Dooley.

“They showed up with the equipment and stuff around 4:30 in the morning and started shooting at around 7,” said Thomas Marshall, one of the Youngs farmers on site Monday to watch the property and assist the filming. “They’ll be here till about 8 and they’re shooting tomorrow as well.”
