.Weekend In Photos.
This weekend has been a crazy one, we’ve squeezed so much in and it’s been great! Over the past week I tried to employ my ‘work less, sleep more’ policy which is going in the right direction. Working full time and editing a blog and youtube channel along with being a kickboxing ninja and learning the guitar can get a bit full on sometimes so I’ve really been trying to spread out my work and take each day as it comes. Last week was a success with blog posts queued, videos filmed and healthy eating re-started and I even had time to do a bit of crochet and make myself (a very useful) monster bunny to sit on my Easter Crème Eggs and keep them safe! I also got some beautiful vintage-eqsque dresses from a company called Lindy Bop who i’ve recently discovered, but more on those soon, i have a little giveaway coming your way!
Saturday the weekend began with a bang when I was invited to review a luxury spa retreat in Stoke on Trent called Moddershall Oaks. It was absolutely beautiful and I had such a relaxing afternoon. I won’t give too much away as there will be a full review coming your way soon but after an hour’s hot stone full body massage followed by another hour of luxury pedicure I was so relaxed it’s a good job Joe had come with me to drive me home! We stopped for lunch at one of our favourite pubs on the way back and then pootled off down to Northampton for a Mexican themed birthday party – as you do! It was a great night with everyone making a real effort in their ponchos and I managed to keep my rather dashing moustache on right until the very end!
In the morning we were up like the true professionals we are and off to a photoshoot with the lovely people at Moat House Eyewear! They asked us both to model for them with their new Spring/Summer ’14 collection and although Joe was a bit shy at first he soon got into the spirit and looked like a total pro! After leaving with a shiny new pair of handmade wooden sunglasses each (thank you Moat House) we came home for a naughty KFC (diet starts tomorrow) and a good old relax on the sofa!
What a jam-packed weekend, it was great and I’m incredibly proud of all the things I get to do in connection with my little blog these days. Thank you so much for reading and sharing everyone, because without you I wouldn’t be so lucky ♥
