Imagine showverse Claire teaching a hesitant and insecure Jamie that its okay for him to initiate lovemaking and amorous activities with her and that she won't rebuff him, in the early days of their marriage.
Persuasion: A Show!Verse Alternative Wedding: Part 1.
If Jamie had wed me for any other reason other than as protection, it was certainly becoming less and less prevalent.
I watched as he ran his hand along the side of the filly, waiting to see if she would accept his touch. When she did he continued along her legs, lifting her feet to check her hocks.
Hello everyone here is the first wedding dance one shot :) Since Saeran won first place, I did his first :) and for the song, I used a song I would love to use for my wedding. Bryan Adams: (Everything I Do) I do it for you *when its italicized, they are talking okay don’t want people to get confused*
You will never find
someone to love you! Love doesn’t exist! You and your brother are only good for
one thing and that’s just wasting precious oxygen.
The words of my mother were playing like a broken record in
my head. My brother, Saeyoung, was fixing my tie making sure I was presentable
going to the alter. I was a nervous wreck because I couldn’t believe (y/n) even
decided to marry me. Did she want to marry me? Perhaps she felt sorry for my pathetic
self that she only said yes so I won’t have another episode. Another episode,
hah, more like a fucking series. Perhaps I should just cancel the wedding
before it even sta—SLAP—did he just fucking slap me!? “Look brother, I know we
both believe we don’t deserve an ounce of care or love that the world wants to
give us, but don’t shut (y/n) out now. Let yourself heal, out of the two of us,
you deserve the most happiness and you know I love you and will support you
100%. However, I will not stand by and see you destroy a good ending for you.
There is resetting, this is life, and even though you still hate me, as your
brother and best man, I will drag you out there if I hate to.” I just pulled him closer to me hugged him and
cried “I’m scared she will leave me Saeyoung, but I will fight and die for her
because there is nothing I want more than her. Thank you Saeyoung. I… uh… um
love you”. I expected him to overreact but he just smiled and fixed my hair “Now
let’s make that beautiful woman a Choi, shall we?”. I sighed and walked with my
brother down the aisle to wait to see her. I waited 30 long minutes and when I saw
everyone gasp, I lost all sense of my body. I belong to her and she is going to
belong to me. I felt tears escape my eyes and I didn’t mind because seeing
someone so beautiful, pure, intelligent, and loving, getting ready to marry me,
is the best feeling in the world. I was finally happy.
Time Skip Wedding Dance
I slowly guided my wife to the middle of the dance floor and
before the DJ even played the song, I leaned in close to her ear and whispered “Please
don’t be mad, I changed the song last minute because I still need you to
understand my true feelings for you”. I backed away waiting for her to get mad
at me but all she did was cup my cheek and caressed me. The lights dimmed down
and the dance is about to being. The dance of our souls mending together.
Look into my eyes, you
will see, what you mean to me, search your heart, search your soul, and when
you find me there you’ll search no more, don’t tell me it’s not worth trying’
for, you can’t tell me it’s not worth dying for, you know its true, everything I
do, I do it for you. Look into your heart, you will find, theres nothing there
to hide. Take me as I am, take my life, I would give it all, I would sacrifice.
Don’t tell me its not worth fighting for, I can’t help it, there’s nothing I want
I whispered the lyrics to her ear. She had her eyes closed
taking each and every single syllable into her memory. I need you to know I mean
every fucking word because you are my angel. You saved me from hating myself
for the rest of my life. You fucking saved me from taking my life away because I
believe I had so much hatred in my heart but you showed me how to love. You
showed me to forgive and to learn how to heal. You helped me heal from my
wounds and I don’t know what I did to deserve you but just understand I am in
love with you. I will work my ass off just for you to be happy, want to go back
to school or move somewhere else, fine not a problem. I will work double or
triple if I have to make sure you are alive and healthy. Knowing you are alive
and just knowing when I wake up from my sleep you will be next to me, gives me
strength to get through the day. You, I thank you for preventing me from
exiting this world. I twirled her around seeing how beautiful she looks in
white. She truly is an angel.
Yeah, I would fight
I brought her a bit closer to me because from this moment. I’m
giving her the power of my heart and soul. She has the power to completely destroy
me but I know she wouldn’t do that to me. I trust her. I trust you with my life
(y/n). I am finally giving my all to you. I grabbed her hand and gave it a tender
kiss before placing it on my heart.
I’d lie for you, Walk
the wire for you,
This is my true vowels
to you. I promise to love and protect you from anything or anyone if you want
me too. I will lie to God himself just so you can get through the gates of
heaven. I will sacrifice my time, my effort, my soul to you. I am not naïve, I understand
we already visited hell many times, but I know in our lifetime, we still have
many more trips to go. I look forward to those trips because I know when we get
out of it, we will come back better and stronger. I gave her a twirl and I looked
into her soul. My eyes were shedding tears because this is it. This is where
she has the rest of me.
Yeah I’d die for you…
You know its true, Everything I do, oh, I do it for you.
I did a steep dip but quickly got her up. I grabbed her face
and made her look into my eyes.
Thank you, for loving
me. You are the reason why the blood still travels through my veins. My love is
not enough for me to even show the gratitude I feel towards you. You are the
light that led me out of the darkness in my life and just know (y/n), I rather
go down first than you. You deserve so much happiness that I am willing to risk
my life just to see you with what you truly deserve. I thank God for creating a
perfect soul like yours. You, You will be the death of the old me. Thank you.
this time on tumblr doesnt let me move images: 8 vamped up wedding bases! now with suits and a paint friendly background! no credit requeired, but i like seeing if you used them, and i will rb it to this account if used!
Blowing the candles out, I took a hefty breath and sighed deeply. It was late -again- and still there was no sign of Jamie. I placecd my hands flat on the surface of the small table and pushed myself away from the small feast that I’d gathered from the inn. Nothing was warm, so it wouldn’t spoil but the sentiment itself was ruined.
I’d wanted (probably needed too) to show Jamie just how much I was willing to commit to him -and him alone. But having given him no inkling as to my changing feelings, I’d let myself get carried away and then ended up disappointed. I knew he’d come eventually, it just the ‘when’ that was driving me mad.
Sitting my bottom against the dresser, I leaned my head back and stretched out my neck. Wearing only my thin, short shift, I could feel the small draught now that was steadily flowing under the door to our rooms. Instead of cooling me, as it should, the breeze ran calmly along my bare leg and up, making my skin prickle with desire. Closing my eyes, I breathed in deeply through my mouth and out through my nose as if to quell the desire growing within me.
The swell grew as I slid my arse across the smooth wood of the table and lifted my feet to sit on the padded chair. The velvet style material tickled the base of my feet and I smiled and licked my lips involuntarily, my knees falling apart.
My fingers twitched against the grain, the unvarnished surface warm to my touch now just as if my heat were spreading through it.
I wanted to, badly. But part of me still wanted to wait on Jamie. I could have easily satisfied myself days ago…however, there was this tiny voice inside of my pleading and begging to wait.
My shift slipped from my shoulder, exposing my left shoulder right down to the top of my breast as I slouched and rolled my arse forwards. This was pure torture. I could feel the pressure mounting between my thighs and my heart was virtually vibrating against my rib cage. I had to calm down.
In my haste, I’d worked myself up. Having removed my ring I was in rare fine spirits (even after a slight melancholia had taken over me at the loss of Frank) and I’d built this moment up - not even contemplating that Jamie himself might not show.
*If only I’d mentioned something _anything_ to Murtagh, I could have avoided this disappointment*, I reprimanded, knowing full well how surprises can turn sour in an instant.
The old mantle clock ticked on as the dusk faded, the slight red tint in the room almost mellowing into the familiar grey-black tones of night as the candles wore down on their wicks. He wasn’t coming to bed…again, I thought, the haze of my own lust dissipating a little at the prospect.
One stray curl flopped onto my forehead as I let my chin fall to my chest. My collarbone felt cold, though the rest of me was still hot from the ever-present burning logs in the fireplace. I tried to concentrate on that, letting my chin radiate some heat through the taut skin there as my shallow breaths calmed me.
“Claire?” Came a whisper from the doorway. My head snapped up to catch Jamie, his sgian dubh tucked neatly between the fingers of his right hand as his left levered the door to our chambers open. I must’ve looked a sight, splayed as I was atop the dresser with my legs open and my shift askew.
Jamie’s eyes were wide as he gazed over me - his pupils so large that the black enveloped the blue making him look almost inhuman.
Surreptitiously I used the fingers of my left hand to slide through my loose curls, shifting them aside as I tilted my head to the right, giving him (not only an incredibly good view of my thrust out chest) a good solid minute to notice my empty ring-finger.
“Come to bed Jamie,” I said, a hint of longing in my voice. He looked at me for a beat longer before his eyes glanced towards the table I’d filled with cold meats, cheese, bread and a cannister of mead to wash it down with. Sullenly he dropped his head, blinked and then looked back up at me - a downtrodden look in his eyes.
“Ye did all of this –fer us?”
“Yes,” I sighed, holding out my hand, beckoning him forwards with my fingers, “but it doesn’t have to be eaten now…please…”
I tipped my head to the side once more as I forced my knees wider, inadvertantly pulling my shift tighly across my thighs as the material moved it upwards, allowing my legs the freedom to fall apart.
It’s you, the move said, I choose you.
“Aye,” Jamie gasped, answering my unspoken declaration almost unconsciously.
Taking one step forward, the wood creaking beneath his feet, Jamie began to remove his mud-smeared waistcoat before undoing the knot in his stock.
“I want you Jamie,” I sighed, my mouth filling with moisture as the muscles in his neck contracted, sending a ripple along the column of his throat, “will you have me?”
The words weren’t wholly necessary, but with our stalemate still bubbling beneath the surface I felt that I really needed to open myself up to him. Jamie was a man of action, his father had taught him the art of communication - and he’d taught him well. With one move, or one action, Jamie could convey so much with so very little and I envied him for it. But that meant that I had to give him something in return. Unable to convey emotions as he did, words were all I had at my disposal and although difficult, I knew I had to give him something -anything- that he could process effectively and not misunderstand.
“Just me, Claire?” He returned, a hint of rebellion alight behind his eyes as he smiled at me, his waistcoat dropping to the floor with a dull thud.
It was a challenge. He laid it down at my feet with a very smart choice of words and actions and it forced me to swallow down my stubbornness.
My heart raced, my body desperately seeking contact with his as if it might shrivel up and die if I didn’t acquiesce.
“Y-yes,” I stuttered, that spark of dissent pulsating in the base of my feet as if ready to erupt. It didn’t though, and I tampered the urge. “Just you, Jamie,” and I said the words he needed to hear.
It _was_ just him I desired. It was only him that my body - now so fervent with need that it was basically vibrating very slightly, my skin rippling with unspent need at Jamie’s very proximity - responded to in this way.
With another very measured step, Jamie came a little closer, his pupils dilating a little now as he reached over, his arm extending just a bit, and touched his fingers to mine.
It felt like instant electricity and I had to fight to stop myself from launching my whole body across the small expanse of space that still lay between us and taking him on the floor immediately. We needed slow and steady. He needed to see that this wasn’t about pure lust, but about connection too. Jamie (as his gentlemanly behaviour had proven) was a man of honour and integrity. Only when he was certain that our binding was built on a desire for love as well as sexual intimacy would he touch me again.
My foot slipped in that moment, just enough for the stool to shift and the floor to creak. Managing to keep myself upright, I bent forwards to balance myself giving Jamie an almost perfect view down the v in my night gown. I saw the moment his gaze slid from my face to my breasts…and then further down.
“You’ve seen me before, Jamie,” I whispered, my voice sounding innocent and light as I held my position, the air now swirling around my middle and up over my chest.
“Aye,” he returned, his voice barely audible as he lurched forward, grasped the hair at the base of my neck in his shivering fingers and pulled my lips to his in an astonishingly quick and sleek movement.
I moulded my mouth to his, letting my tongue sneak out to taste him as we kissed for a solid minute. Jamie’s other hand tore at my shift, pulling it around my shoulders and down until it pooled at my waist, leaving my whole upper body exposed to the newly frigid air around us. But it didn’t matter. In this moment, nothing did.
“But ne’er sae close,” he continued as I strained to hear his words over the pounding of my own heart as the blood raced through every inch of me, “and no’ when ye were only mine…”
While planning their wedding, Viktor and Yuri made a bet that whoever cries first has to carry the winner down the aisle after the ceremony. In the end, they both cried the moment they saw each other. But Yurio cried first.
Hello everyone c: since the munchkin war has ended not so long ago, I decided to get started on the Wedding Dace One shots :,) In case you missed the others here they are, Saeran Choi,Jumin Han, Jihyun Kim/V , :) In my personal opinion, this is the most emotional wedding dace one shot I have ever written… I cried so hard writing this one shit…some of the emotions come from within me… I hope you guys can feel the emotion :) Thank you - Savior Saeran
Why cant I fake my smile around you? Why did you have to be my biggest weakness. I am suppose to be the strong one but when it comes to you, Im always weak. What have you done to me?
I breathed in and out watching how my body slowly releases the stress that it has been carrying. However, that moment of release only last a few seconds and then the stress comes back again. I looked at the mirror and saw myself. If people saw my reflection, they would see a clown who is always happy with life no matter what. Sadly, that’s not even the truth at all. When I look at my reflection, I don’t even realize who that person is. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard my best man knocking at the bathroom door. I opened the door and saw my brother/best man, Saeran Choi, and I give him a big old welcome smile. He didn’t even look at me while he walked in and closed the door “How are you feeling?” he asked with sincerity. I gave him a quick glance and walked towards the sink to take a better look into the mirror “The real question is ‘how are you feeling brother’, you look like an adorable penguin!” I managed to say with a chuckle. I noticed his stern face expression because of the mirror and I noticed him walking towards me. He put his hand in his pocket and took out a long black box and opened it. I was shocked seeing chain with a cross in the box. He looked into my stunned eyes and took out the chain from the box and showed it to me “I know that I caused a lot of trouble for you and (y/n) and I may not say it often, but I appreciate the both of you so much. You two are my family and I uh love you um b-brother” he said softly. He then proceeded to put the chain on me “Now while I fix this, why don’t you tell me how you are really feeling?” he looked up with a smile on his face. There are only two people who can knows the real me: my brother who has a special place in my heart, and the love of my life, (f/n) (l/n), who has the power over my body and soul. I looked at him while my act slowly breaks apart infant of him and he pulled me into a hug and I hold on tightly crying, mumbling my fears and joys. He held me tighter and I cried harder.
TIME SKIP: WEDDING DANCE
The exact moment when I heard the double doors open and the church/space station was playing the wedding song, I saw the birth of a beautiful angel. An angel god sent me and my family, to help us continue on with life. Many hours passed and we made it to our reception. Thankfully god made (y/n) perfectly for me because she didnt get upset when I mentioned months back that the wedding dance song will be a surprised. I know she may be thinking we are going to do something silly but she will be wrong. I need her to know how much I love and appreciate her. I guided her to the middle of the dance floor and signaled for the lights to dim down a bit. I looked at Saeran so he can signal the DJ to start the song for our first dance: Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion
For all those times you stood by me, For all the truth that you made me see, For all the joy you brought to my life, For all the wrong that you made right, For every dream you made come true, For all the love I found in you, I’ll be forever thankful baby, You’re the one who held me up, Never let me fall, You’re the one who saw me through through it all
She looked so beautiful that I wondered what exactly did I do to deserve to be her true ending. She could of had anyone but she choosed me out of billion of people out there. (Y/N) decided to spend the rest of eternity together with me and I am truly blessed. I gave her a twirl while we were dancing and when she came back to me I leaned in closer so she can hear my words “Can I show my true feelings for you” I asked softly. You looked at me with your beautiful eyes and tip toed to my ear “Of course my amazing husband” you said sweetly. Ugh. Your voice makes my heart melt. I brought you closer to me and gave a heavy sigh “ Im honestly really scared to tell you but I need you to know this because you are stuck with me till we get grey and old. When I had to search you information before you can officially become an RFA member, what caught my attention was your facial expressions. It had so much sincerity that it astonished me that someone can be so pure. After having the honor of meeting you, I pushed you away because I wasn’t worthy of your love. I was suppose to be miserable because I don’t deserve happiness. You slowly became my happiness and I resented you for it because I didn't want to taint you with my darkness. I would never of imagined in a million of years, that my God sent me you to prevent myself from being consumed in darkness.” The memories of our journey was hitting me like a ton of bricks. I brought her closer to me just imagining if my greatest fear did come true. What happened if I actually love my brother and my love? The thought of that made me crack up the chain I had around my heart that only I could ever open.
You were my strength when I was weak, You were my voice when I couldn’t speak, You were my eyes when I couldn’t see, You saw the best there was in me, Lifted me up when I couldn’t reach, You gave me faith ‘coz you believed I’m everything I am, Because you loved me
I was scared to show her how I truly felt because what happened if she realizes that I’m only alive because of her? I decided to ignore my negatives thoughts and lightly gave a quick dip and then brought you back to me. I caressed your beautiful skin that somehow belong to me now “Thank you (y/n) for accepting all of me. You were the only one in the RFA to laugh at my jokes and never once, never fucking one you called me weird or made fun of. You actually understood me and that scared me. It scared me because you saw through the many mask I had and I knew I didn’t deserve you. I was too broken for you or for anyone else to fix. Somehow you saw past Agent 707 and Luciel and noticed how fucked up Saeyoung Choi really is. You didn’t care how much I hated myself because you were always there. You were there when I cried myself to sleep, when I tried to take my life away, when I tried to push everyone away…. you were always there. Why did you pick me? Why did you decide to make me your final route? There is a saying that whoever you made your final route is the one that you were always destined to be with. Thank you for allowing me, no I’m sorry, for giving me the honor to be your soulmate. If it wasn’t for your love (y/n) I wouldn’t have learned to love myself. I wouldn’t even have my brother back in my life. If it wasn’t for your help, we would be distance but you helped us became a family again. Damn (y/n), I owe my life to you and I’m not afraid to admit it. Thank you for making me feel human.”
You gave me wings and made me fly, You touched my hand I could touch the sky, I lost my faith, you gave it back to me, You said no star was out of reach You stood by me and I stood tall, I had your love I had it all, I’m grateful for each, day you gave me, Maybe I don’t know that much, But I know this much is true, I was blessed because I was loved by you
Just feeling your arms intertwined behind my back felt like a dream. Did I really deserve this? If this was a dream, I’m going to cherish this moment forever because if I wake up and you weren’t next to me, I would at least have you in my dreams. Call me selfish but I’m glad you chose me in the end. I will forever thank the man above for allowing me to be your true ending. Looking at your face lend against my chest while we move around in circles sends chills throughout my body. Knowing for a fact this is reality brings tears to my eyes and its finally time I told you how much I truly worship you.
You were always there for me, The tender wind that carried me, A light in the dark shining your love into my life, You’ve been my inspiration, Through the lies you were the truth, My world is a better place because of you
I grabbed your hands from behind my back and brought them to lips. I kissed it ever so gently and looking into your beautiful eyes killed me. I am alive because of your beating heart. I am happy because of you gave me a reason to be happy about something. Just waking up next to you, whether you are snoring or not makes me happy. When we have petty arguments it made me happy because it just meant that we were going to come out of it stronger. Emotions started to flow throughout my body because the chain around my heart finally broke. I fell to my knees and started to sob while my hands clenched around yours “You were always there for me,when I thought all hope was lost, I looked for your hand to hold to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. You are my strength (y/n) choi and every ounce of cell that created me belongs to you. You own me because you prevented me from giving up hope on love and life.” Tears and love were flowing out of my body because I was finally giving my all to you. I hold your hand even tighter because I’m not finished yet “The tender wind that carried me, when I was down you helped me get back up. You were there defending me from the world because you knew how badly the world hurt me. You looked past my faults, and accepted me for who I am!! You are my shield and I promise you that I will catch every star and hand it to you. You deserve every thing in the world and I promise that I will fight for you and make sure you are happy, because your happiness fuels me into becoming a better person (y/n). A light in the dark shining your love into my life, when you tried to love me I tried to stop you because how can you love someone who died many years back? You didnt care because you knew there was still life in my trying to fight the darkness and I couldn’t do it alone. You extended your hand to me my love and I thank you for not letting me die. You’ve been my inspiration, through the lies you were the truth, you were the one (y/n) to show me the truth of it all. When I found out the truth about Rika and Jihyun, you were there to keep me steady. You were also there to show me that its okay to be sad. That its okay to feel worthless because they are all reasonable emotions but you also showed me that I cant be in that state forever. You helped me become a better Saeyoung and I will forever worship the ground you walk on. I look forward to the day I can tell our children our love story. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you (y/n). My world is a better place because of you, and when I take my last breath looking into your eyes our story will rewind quickly in my head before I close my eyes for the last time. Just know this (y/n), when the time does come for me to leave this earth, just know my soul and heart will forever stay with you. Just know I will be protecting you and my brother even when I’m not there. Just know, I will be waiting for you my love so we can spend paradise together”.
I’m everything I am Because you loved me
You helped me back up and embraced me into a hug. I hold you tightly wanting our body and souls to become one. I notice that you pulled away ever so slightly giving room for your hand to signal someone to come over. I tried looking but the tears in my eyes were giving my vision a hard time. I then felt a delicate hand wiping my tears away and I was able to see my brother having tears in his eyes. I cleaned his tears away just like when we were little kids. I then grabbed (y/n) and Saeran closer to me into a big hug “Thank you for everything. I will am forever thankful for the both of you. (Y/N) I love you and thank you for making us a family again” I felt the arms of my brother and my wife wrap around me and I knew from this moment I had two rocks in my life. I would die for this two people. They are my biggest weakness and I will forever show them how much I love them till my last breath.
ahh my rainbow haired wife and the orange lady -Mod Lapis
She’s okay with you doing whatever makes you happy
Bismuth would make the ring she gives you herself in the forge, just to make sure it’s special
If you wanted her to be in a tux, she’d pick a classic black one and have her hair tied back in a ponytail. The wrist cuffs would be star-shaped.
If you wanted her in a dress, she’d pick a sleeveless and “sleek” dress (something like this) and leave her dreads either loose or have them in a bun.
There’s lots of silly little “rituals”you two do (like the one where the people to be married can’t see each other until the ceremony or it’s bad luck) and running around trying to abide by those rituals is a lot of fun
You’d notice her demeanor would change at the ceremony and she’d be much calmer overall, as if she was at peace knowing she was going to marry you.
When she goes to kiss you at the altar, she cups your cheeks in her hands and leans down to do it. She rests her forehead on yours for a bit after the kiss ends and strokes your cheek with her thumb.
You practically go airborne when she goes to carry you down the aisle, there’s lots of little kisses on your forehead and cheeks as she carries you.
The party after the ceremony consists of lots of dancing, some karaoke and obligatory awkward parent/friend/family speeches. Garnet’s speech was the only one with good advice/substance to it and you can tell she thought it through.
She seems to want a more traditional “structured” wedding, which you don’t mind all that much
You noticed a pink diamond was the center stone in the ring she gave you
If you asked her to wear a tux, she’d wear a deep wine red one with an orange colored vest underneath and the buttons/wrist cuffs would be gold. She’d braid her hair back and pin the braid in a bun.
If you asked her to wear a dress she’d wear something asymmetrical but still classy (something like this) and would leave her hair down but would brush it, curl it and have it draped over one of her shoulders
She would be a bit of a control freak during preparation because she wants it to be perfect for you
Similar to Bismuth, she’d follow the classic wedding “rituals” but she’d take them more seriously, worried that they’d ruin your wedding, somehow
During her vows, you noticed she called you “my diamond” more than once in a very sweet and easy tone
She picks you up to kiss you, and merely flips you in her arms to carry you like royalty down the aisle, a huge smile beaming on her face
When it’s time for the party afterwards, during everyone’s bad speeches she sits you on her lap, wraps her arms around you and nuzzles her face into your neck, you can feel her gem poking into you
The light blinded Claire as Murtagh pushed the door open, the sunshine streaming through the gap as she took her first steps towards the church, her heart thudding in her chest.
“Are ye truly ready, Claire?” Murtagh muttered as the pair stepped forwards.
Claire’s eyes saw the back of him before he’d even turned, and her breath caught in her throat.
“Uncle Lamb?” She whispered, almost in disbelief, “is that you?”
The greying older man turned, a wistful smile alight on his face as he took in his niece, his arms open as Claire bolted from Murtagh’s side and thrust herself against his chest.
“I never even –I didn’t *think*…” she sobbed, her face buried into the hollow of her wayward uncle’s neck as she tried to vocalise her thoughts.
“I came as soon as I heard, Claire,” Lamb began, a hint of apology in his tone, “I’m only sorry I wasn’t here for you during, you know, the turbulence with Franklin.”
Coughing, Murtagh raised his bushy brows in the direction of the church doors, “I’m sorry, Claire, but I think he’ll be waiting for ye…”
Twisting Claire around, Lamb reached out his hand to take Murtagh’s, a large grin lighting his face. “Ah, Mr Fraser, it’s so good to finally meet you!”
“Ye too, Mr Beauchamp. But now, I think puir Jamie might want to see us enter,” winking in Claire’s direction, Murtagh nudged the reunited Beauchamp’s towards the entrance, “we dinna want him to think we’ve escaped.”
Claire couldn’t keep the smile from her face as Quentin slid his arm through hers and led her to the end of the aisle. The congregation was minimal, just a few of Jamie’s and Claire’s workmates (including Glenna) but the moment she stepped foot inside the building Claire had her eyes set on one person, and one alone.
Jamie stood side on, with Murtagh freshly to his right, looking more dapper than she’d ever seen him. Trussed up with a brand new kilt with his hair slicked back, he looked so handsome that she could hardly believe he was hers.
“He’s a lucky man, Claire, my darling,” Lamb whispered in her ear upon seeing her gaze soften.
Passing her over, Lamb made sure to bow formally to Jamie, a coy glint in his eyes as he did so.
Hearing the message loud and clear, Jamie bowed back, placing his hand over Claire’s as he did so.
‘Look after her,’ it said, ‘look after her and never let her go.’
The ceremony itself went off without a hitch. Soon, Claire and Jamie had exchanged vows, an excited lilt to their combined ‘I do’s’ and the newlyweds were on their way –in a horse-drawn carriage no less– to the reception.
Murtagh and Glenna had stayed up most of the night decorating the tiny hall that Jamie had procured for the occasion. Fiddling with the last of the placemats, Glenna added Lambert Beauchamp’s nametag to the small head table, a rather large grin on her face as she did so.
“Yer doing a braw job there, Glenna,” Murtagh praised, wrapping his arm around her shoulder as he kissed her forehead, “how on earth did ye find the man, ye wee genius?”
“Ach!” Glenna returned, shaking her head at her friend, “it was nothing, truly. I just made some enquiries and there he was all of a sudden, listed in one o’ those journal things, Quentin Lambert Beauchamp,” elbowing Murtagh softly she clicked her tongue at him in satisfaction, “which is why ye and Jamie couldn’t find the lad. He isna simply listed as ‘Lambert’.”
“I told ye, Mrs Fitz,” he replied, using the name the bairns gave to her, “a wee miracle worker!”
“…and don’t I ken it weel,” she joked, her hands running over the cream tablecloth, smoothing out the remaining ruffles, “what would you all do wi’out me, eh?”
Outside the hall, Jamie stood watching as Claire twirled *his* wedding ring around her middle finger, a tiny red mark appearing as she pushed it against her skin.
“Ye look so bonnie today, Claire *Fraser*,” he cooed, his eyes tearing a little at the memory of their wee ceremony.
“You don’t look half bad yourself, Jamie Fraser.”
Her smile was radiant as he plucked her from the carriage and placed her down on the tarmac drive leading into the hall. Balloons decorated the outsides, their names plastered in big, bold letters on the biggest banner Claire had ever seen.
“How on earth did they pull all this off without me knowing?” Claire sighed, her voice full of awe and wonder. “*And* to have my uncle here! I’m…well,” she stammered, her cheeks burning red with happiness, “speechless.”
“Weel,” Jamie whispered, nipping at her ear as he wrapped his arms around her waist, “I think it might have had something to do wi’ me, aye?”
“You think a lot of yourself, don’t you…” Claire returned, a light jest to her words as she swayed to and fro in the evening air, her eyes closed and her head leaning back against Jamie’s shoulder as she enjoyed the peace.
Standing in her wedding gown, Claire couldn’t help but relive those early moments over and over again in her head.
All of those nights, frequenting that same coffee bar with no knowledge of Jamie’s investment in her presence. So many cups she’d drained with a heavy heart, paying no mind to the stranger who would eventually pluck up the courage to make the first move, the move that had brought them here.
Realising the motions she’d set in place with the removal of her wedding ring that fateful night, Claire reached a shaky hand towards her face and wiped a stray tear from her eye.
“What’s wrong, mo nighean?” Jamie crooned, his voice low and sweet.
“I just realised how much I owe you, James Fraser.” She whispered in reply, her lips quivering as she spoke, her throat dry as she tried not to ruin her precise make-up with yet more tears.
“Ye are a daft one, sassenach,” Jamie continued, his arms gripping her tighter now as he began to walk her closer to the reception hall. “Do you not know? It is I who owes you, Claire Fraser.”
Smiling, Claire twisted herself, turning to face Jamie.
His eyes were the most vibrant blue, the sunlight catching them, causing the faintest glimmer of yellow and green to merge in the middle where iris met pupil. He was stunning.
Jamie blinked slowly, allowing Claire her calming moment as he tilted his head to the left, cementing this moment in his brain as accurately as he could. She had fallen into his life a mess of curls and warm words. A broken lass just desperately in need of something on he could provide for her. And she, in return, had blessed him with the type of companionship and love that was present only within her.
“Should we…?” Claire broached, tipping her head towards the door in an almost silent gesture that suddenly pulled Jamie from his thoughts.
Remembering where they were –finally, both Jamie and Claire took one deep breath and readied themselves for the welcome that would await them inside.
“Aye, my bride,” he replied, squeezing her hands gently, “I think we should make an appearance.”
Slamming the hotel door behind them, Jamie had Claire at his mercy in seconds, his lips fused to hers as he held her hands over her head and kissed her into submission.
“I’ve been wanting to do that for so long, Mrs Fraser,” he gasped, pulling away for only a minute as she pulled herself forward, aching to have his mouth on hers, not caring too much about what he was saying.
“Me too…” she returned, her fingers twitching against the painted wood. “So don’t make me wait, Mr Fraser.”
The party had gone on into the wee hours. The DJ had played the setlist as instructed and the guests had all danced the night away, their hearts full of love and their bellies full from the buffet.
In those few short hours, Murtagh and Lamb had become fast friends.
Claire smiled as Jamie’s lips bruised hers, a punishing kiss that had her straining…and wanting. But those few glimpses of their wedding party crept through the building lust, making her chest tight with gratitude.
“Come back to me, Claire,” Jamie begged, sensing her lapses in attention as he rocked his body softly against hers.
Fluttering her eyes open, Claire panted as she filled her lungs with air once more, her mind solidly on Jamie now. Her heart raced as she saw how enamoured he was, his gaze dark as he rested his forehead against hers, taking the chance to breath himself.
Suddenly the prospect of seeing Jamie fully naked hit her and she gulped in a large breath of air.
Jamie smirked, watching intently as her pupils dilated and her hips swayed slowly closer to his. No matter the temptation they’d been accosted by, both Jamie and Claire had decided to wait until this night before actually *sleeping* together, choosing instead only to indulge in –heavy petting–.
Pulling herself back into the present, Claire’s mind, overwhelmed by the myriad of images currently pummeling her, chose to focus in on her last sexual encounter. Immediately her cheeks flooded, the redness spreading down her neck as she tried to force the memory away.
“Not here.” She whispered, the subtle twinges of careless embarrassment gaining purchase, uninvited and unbidden.
“Ye didna think…” Jamie returned, his brows creasing as he noted her sudden change. Biting his lip, he refrained from making comment on the blush that had taken root across her face.
“Claire, I said come back to me…no’ reappear briefly and then go away again,” he joked, thinking the unthinkable name, his smile coaxing Claire forward, away from the door and towards the bed. “I love ye, Claire, mo nighean donn,” he murmured, holding his hand out to her and bringing her slowly onto his lap, “yer my wife, we have one another…we will always have one another.”
Leaning her forehead against his, Claire expelled all of the stale air from her lungs.
Jamie. His clear blue eyes bore into hers as she pulled at the buttons along the side of her dress. The shoulder of her dress slid along her smooth skin, revealing the long line of her neck as she shimmied out of the delicate fabric.
Jamie held his breath as the silk fell, watching and waiting as her pale cream bra became exposed.
“Beautiful,” he sighed, his eyes flickering from her face to her chest as he slipped his fingers along the soft planes of the sides of her and up along the ridges of her spine. Clasping the latch of her bra, he pulled together his thumb and finger, freeing the metal that held her breasts captive…freeing her of so much more than simply cotton, lace and metal.
“You’re biased,” she retorted, a hint of humour in her voice as she bounced gently, her knees digging further into the mattress. The inside of her thighs shifted the course material of his kilt as she pulled herself free of the restraint.
“Biased I may be,” Jamie replied, his head falling forward, taking advantage of Claire’s new position, “but, sassenach…I amne wrong, aye?”
HIs tone was low, the deep baritone of his voice rumbling through her from head to toe as he spoke quietly but clearly.
Opening his mouth at the opportune moment, Jamie slipped his tongue along the ripples of her pert flesh, taking her nipple into his mouth as he listened to the faint mewling sound that fell from her lips at the sustained contact.
Scrunching her eyes closed, Claire let her head loll backwards, her hair falling in waves over Jamie’s hands where they lay clasped behind her back – holding her chest against his lips.
“You still have far too many clothes on…” she moaned, licking her dry lips as her shaky fingers ran along the length of the collar of his dress shirt, “I want you, Jamie, I really want you…naked and beneath me.”
Clutching his fists together, Jamie exhaled a jagged breath before flipping Claire onto her back and hovering over her prostrate form.
Running his fingers along the front of his shirt, he toyed with the buttons, teasing as Claire watched through hooded lids. Her hair had fanned out naturally above her head during the move and her curls lay tangled across the hotel pillows, silver and brown combined, glinting delicately in the pale evening light as it filtered in through the curtains, the wind keeping them eerily afloat.
“Sae beautiful ye are, Claire.” Jamie crooned as he stripped, throwing his shirt and kilt into a pile with her wedding dress.
Smirking, Claire reached up. Dragging her finger along his chest she tried her best to keep her eyes level with his, but the sprinkling of hair that dusted the lower half of his tummy called to her. She’d felt him, they’d been close…but seeing him was another matter.
Taking her hand, Jamie massaged her palm delicately as if to encourage her. Seeing the want in her eyes as she blinked slowly, he urged her on with a nod.
One glance was all it took, one short longing look downwards, and Claire was lunging forward, her hands coming up to grip Jamie’s bare arse as she forced him forwards.
Latching his mouth onto hers, Jamie caught himself just in time, his hands pushing deep into the soft pillows as his hips fell naturally between hers.
She really felt him then, the hard length of him nestled against her as he kissed her into oblivion. Feeling like she had her first time, Claire clenched her toes and wrapped her trembling thighs around his waist, anchoring him to her.
“I’m so grateful,” she gasped, angling her hips in preparation, eager to consummate their marriage as soon as possible. “That I found you, Jamie.”
“Same,” Jamie returned, his kiss stained lips breaking from her neck for just a moment, “Claire.”
Matching her movements, Jamie twisted himself a little to the side. His heart pounded out a maddening rhythm against his chest, the feel of it reverberating through every inch of him as if he were a livewire, sparking as it hit water and flaring before slapping against the cold, wet concrete.
He felt alive.
“You’re shaking,” she whispered, feeling his damp skin against her own, “are you scared, love?”
“No…yes,” Jamie sighed and laughed lightly, “I might be a wee bit scarit…o’ disappointing ye.”
“That won’t happen,” Claire soothed, urging him forward, her thighs pulling him closer and closer. “You could never *do* that.”
Gasping, both Claire and Jamie squeezed their eyes closed as Jamie thrust himself inside her, the feeling of it causing his hands to grip the pillows painfully as he arched his back, the droplets of sweat dribbling along each ridge of his spine.
“A-ah…” he half-whispered, half-moaned into Claire’s mouth as she lifted her shoulders from the mattress, eager to have his lips against hers.
Using her tongue, Claire drew intimate patterns against Jamie’s lower lip as he moved ever so slowly against her, the fine hairs on the base of her belly catching his thicker ones as they moved together. She could feel the muscles of his stomach tighten as he lowered himself against her, the plateau of his usually sculpted abdominals even more defined now as he hovered over her.
The intense pulsating feeling between her legs grew as Jamie inched his legs further apart, lowering himself so that he could push himself directly against her and then hold himself still for a moment, his eyes half open as he gasped and took her in. She could feel his gaze over every fibre of her, as if her body knew he was memorising every goosebump-covered particle of her flesh.
Smiling, she raised a shaky hand up to cup his perspiration coated jaw. Her eyes, glazed and half closed, glinted in the dim light of the room as she tightened her legs around his hips and ground herself against him.
Wordlessly, Jamie shuddered, almost launching forwards on his knees as he flopped his head backwards. His mouth fell open, but no actual sound fell from him
Claire could tell from his short, sharp movements and the position of his tense shoulders that he was close. Leaning herself backwards, she gently began to roll her hips, her soft motion causing the most delightful friction to begin to build between the two of them.
Understanding the silent messages of her body, Jamie steeled himself, forcing the almost instant need for gratification to the back of his mind as he mimicked her movements.
A sea of calm covered them both, lying cautiously over the thin sheen of sweat that covered them head to toe as the world suddenly stilled around them, almost as if time had come to a complete stand-still.
“You don’t have to…” Claire mumbled, his tone breathy and light,
“I do,” Jamie returned, answering her unspoken remark. Gripping the pillow, his fingers turning white where they delved deeper into the plush pillows at her head. Locking eyes, he nodded as she did as they felt, simultaneously, flashes of uncontainable carnality rush through them both.
Blinking, Claire felt her cheeks flood with heat as her heart picked up pace, her ribs vibrating with the pressure of it. She was almost certain that Jamie could hear the pounding beat as he lowered his forehead to hers and slid his hands across the slick fabric of the comforter to link with hers as the pressure built within them.
Boiling over, Jamie tensed and moaned, jerking himself against Claire until he could barely hold himself over her. Shaking, Claire waited, inhaling jagged breaths as his hips began to slow, resting just where she needed them to and pushing her over the edge as she cried out and slumped back against the aired sheets.
Rolling himself to the side, Jamie wrapped his arms around Claire, a small smile tugging at his lips as he shifted them both below the sheets, tangling his feet with her as she slowly but surely joined him in their love-drunk haze.
“I want to wash you,” Claire whispered, her hands roaming once more over his humid skin, her eyes barely open as she nuzzled against him.
“Aye?” Jamie replied, licking his lips as he shifted his weight, the idea sending a shot of pleasure through him.
“Yes…” she mumbled, “right after we nap…”
“Alright, sassenach,” he sighed, watching as she began to doze in his arms, “first sleep, then bath.”
Lying in the bath, the water swished gently around them as Jamie slowly washed Claire, his hands roaming across her submerged belly.
Leaning forward, Claire leaned her arms onto her elbows, letting him run the sponge over her back, washing the sweet perfume from her skin. Out of nowhere, two cold droplets ran down her spine causing her to sit up a little straighter. Ignoring it, Claire wrote it off as her imagination.
Jamie’s hands seemed to moved slower as more cold drips hit Claire’s warm flesh. Holding herself still, Claire took an internal breath, keeping her ribcage steady as she breathed through her nose and out again.
“Jamie,” she whispered, her lips shaking as she massaged the back of his hand with her own. Feeling his muscles clench beneath her palm, Claire twisted her head a little to glance at him out of the corner of her eye.
Swallowing, she saw a stray tear roll down his cheek as he dipped his head closer to the top of her exposed shoulders.
“I love ye, Claire,” he sighed, his heated breath fanning over her, ruffling the damp locks of her hair.
Slowly, turning her hips as carefully as she was able, Claire moved to face him, her legs sitting either sit of his in the tub.
Silently she reached her hand out and laid her palm against his wet cheek, the warmth of it seeping through her already heated skin.
His face was red, a bright crimson that wasn’t solely indicative of the hot water surrounding them.
Claire’s eyes softened as she took in her husband.
Husband. The word sent a jolt of pleasure through her as she bent forward to kiss away Jamie’s tears. Salt coated her mouth as she sighed softly against him, her heart thudding dully in her chest.
“I’m here Jamie,” she soothed, her fingers brushed lightly against the thin smattering of hair that had grown along the bottom of his jaw throughout the day. The tense set of his shoulders relaxed as she spoke, her touch causing his fears to dissipate. “I love you too.”
For a moment they say quietly, the water cooling around them as Claire held Jamie close. He desperately wanted to talk to her, to tell her how much her commitment to him meant but the words simply wouldn’t come. His ‘I love you’ was all he could vocalise for the moment.
Thoughts of his sister swirled around him in the damp mist of the hotel bathroom as his imagination brought her back to life. Apart from Murtaghs’ companionship, he had been alone for such a long time that now that a small part of him harboured such a deep-seated fear of loss. In the space of a few months all of his family and been taken from him, and now, since he’d been afforded a second chance, there was a tiny voice that suddenly lived inside of him –mumbling a number of incredulous ideas. He knew they were unlikely to occur, he’d been tested for the cancer gene that had been present in Ian. But since Ian wasn’t in anyway a direct relative, both Jenny and himself had been cleared.
The sound of distant humming brought him from his morose thoughts and Jamie suddenly became aware of himself. He was sobbing, the force of his shuddering rocking the water in the bath so that some of it splashed over the edges and onto the tile floor.
“Hush now,” Claire sing-songed, breaking from her tune to calm him as much as she was able. “How about we go to bed?”
Running her fingers through the greying hair at his temple, Claire wiped the moisture away, once more, from his eyes, kissing him softly as she rose from the bath and offered him her hand.
“Let me care for you, Jamie,” she broached, trying to coax him back to her, “for once, let me look after you, yes?”
“Aye.” He returned, a distinct crack of emotion in his voice, “take me to bed, Claire.”
Pulling back the sheets, Claire led Jamie towards their marital bed, ignoring the faint drip-drop of the bath water as it slid from both of their skin as they padded across the plush carpet to the large king sized bed.
Tilting her head to the side, Claire indicated to Jamie to get in. He obeyed, curling himself under the duck-down duvet, the softness of the sheets allowing him to slide in with ease. Following suit, Claire folded herself around Jamie, twinning her legs with his and wrapping her arms around his waist as they settled themselves.
It was warm under the covers, almost too warm, but Jamie didn’t mind. Guided as he was by the position of Claire’s body, he didn’t much mind the heat as it set him alight.
Leaning her forehead against his, she quietly moulded her lips to his, kissing him softly as she turned out the bedside lamp. In the background, a gurgling filled the large master suite, the plug spitting back out the water it couldn’t feasibly drain.
Jamie laughed, the sound of the emptying bath disturbing the peace of the moment.
Claire smiled as she watched him, the years just dropping from his face as he finally shed the last of the tension he’d been holding in.
“Welcome home, love.” She cooed, nuzzling his nose with hers and pecking him slowly on the lips. His blue eyes shone in the dark of the room, the moonlight flooding the room as the pair drank in the sight of the other, reinvigorated from their busy day.
A spark of light glimmered behind Claire’s eyes as she ran the flat of her hand along the expanse of Jamie’s back, feeling every wee bump along the length of his spine as she slowly investigated every inch of his bare skin.
Jamie held his breath as she explored. Hair grew more prevalently now, thicker on his chest and thighs than it had done in his twenties and thirties. He liked it. He’d always felt a little scrawny in his youth, his shoulders not quite wide enough. But now, as he’d entered his forties, he’d filled out. The build up of muscle finally cementing itself over his ample chest. True, he’d put a little weight on his tummy, but if anything it just matched the rest of him.
Claire too was changed. Her hips were probably wider, her breasts a little fuller. Jamie glanced downwards, taking a wee keek at her as she looked back up at him, her lids half closed, her amorous gaze falling solely on him.
“You are sae beautiful, mo nighean donn,” he purred, his voice soft as the finest velvet, “the way the silver glows in yer hair wi’ the white light of the moon, takes my breath away.”
Claire blushed, his complement causing the blood to rise to the surface.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” she returned, her hips meeting his under the covers as she cuddled up against him, skin to skin.
Jamie buried his nose in her wayward curls, inhaling the scent of the remains of her perfume as the slid together beneath the covers, the thick blanket shielding them from the world.
Together they fell asleep, Jamie’s faith in their union burning brighter than ever before as Claire rocked him gently. He couldn’t love her again just yet, their lust filled entrance to the bridal suite still glowing just under the surface of them both as their breathing evened becoming shallow in sleep.
“Dream of me, Jamie,” Claire sighed, her hushed whisper echoing around the room as she snuggled closer, “because I’m not going anywhere, I promise.”
Safe in the arms of the other, Jamie and Claire drifted steadily out of consciousness. On the bedside table, the ink of their recently signed marriage license dried slowly, its dark fluid staining the parchment and sealing their combined names; eternally tattooed onto the sturdy paper. A solid reminder of the vows they’d taken, of the future they’d secured for one another. More stable than the one Claire had signed before, Jamie was unconsciously convinced of its validity. His belief in fate –renewed.
Since Jumin won second place, here is his wedding dance one
shot. Also, here is Saeran’s one shot in cased any of you guys missed it :D! This
is the concept I came up with for his wedding dance, you guys couldn’t agree on
a single song so you guys decided to do something different. First half of the
wedding dance would be your song and the second half would be his song. He didn’t
care that It was cliché the song he picked, he always listened to the song, but now, he finally understood the lyrics. All of Me by John Legend
I always believed love
never existed because everything I loved either left or broke me. It was better
to be alone to never ever love. Why give someone the power to destroy you, the
power to rip your heart out and take it with them forever. I will never love.
I looked slowly at the clock watching the minute hand move
rapidly. Probably it’s my imagination, I need to relax and breathe. If I can do
a 4 hour business meeting then sure as hell I can do my own wedding. Who am I kidding,
I need wine. I walked quickly to the
mini bar that’s in my hotel room and grabbed the wine and set it on the table.
I was making my way towards the glass cabinet until I heard faint knocking. I
opened the door and I saw my best man, Jihyun Kim, crying. I helped him inside
and sat him down and got him tissues. “Why
are you crying Jihyun? Is something the matter?” I asked a bit startled. He
looked up at me laughing and I noticed he was fake crying. Him and his stupid
jokes, he may appear serious and respectful to everyone else, but Jihyun does
have his dorky moments. “The death of a
bachelor just sounds so good on you my brother. Now,” he slowly got up and
picked up the wine and placed it back inside the mini fridge “ I know you’re
scared Jumin, you always been scared of love but you and I both know she wont
hurt you.” I walked towards my bed and just sat there. I looked at him and his
eyes soften because he knew my real concerned “I’m afraid, no I’m petrified, that I will be the one that hurts her,
because what if my love isn’t enough? What if she realizes I’m too broken to
love. What if this is just a dream and I would soon wake up to my hell of a
reality.” Jihyun walked closer to me and placed a reassuring grip on my
shoulder “If this is a dream my brother,
take it and live it because not everyone is blessed with a happy ending” he
smiled at me and I knew what he really meant. I hugged him and we made our way
down so I can marry my soul mate.
I was fixing my sleeve impatiently waiting for my soul mate to enter the through the double doors. The concept of time does not apply to when you are waiting for you love to walk in at any moment. I need wine. I was growing a bit nervous till I felt people hug me. Saeyoung was hugging my shoulder, Yoosung was crying hugging my leg, Zen gave me a smile, while Jihyun was hugging my other shoulder. Why now, I guess they can tell I’m nervous. I looked up and saw Saeran trying to get the other grooms men in line and I thanked him for it. He got in line as well and I heard the double doors open and I was hit with her scent. Im marrying a goddess.
Time Skip: Jumin Song Choice for Wedding Dance
I grabbed her hand and kissed it gently “Thank you (y/n) for showing your heart to me, thank you for handing me the key to your heart and soul. I vow to always make sure you are safe and protected. I vow to you that you are your own person and I love you for who you are. Thank you for accepting me for who I am while helping me become a better man.” She looked at me with those beautiful (e/c) orbs and she saw past my wall. She slowly put a hand near my cheek and caressed it ever so gently as if my face was made of porcelain glass “Im not going to hurt you Jumin, I love you so much to even think about doing that. Please give me every single inch of you just like I gave you all of mine.” I put my wall down and finally showed her the fragile Jumin Han “ Im scared (y/n” I felt a tear escape me and all she did was wipe it off with her thumb “ I know and I’m here for you Jumin.” John Legend finally showed up on the stage and its time to give her all of me.
What would I do without your smart mouth?Drawing me in, and you kicking me out. You’ve got my head spinning, no kidding, I can’t pin you down. What’s going on in that beautiful mind. I’m on your magical mystery ride. And I’m so dizzy, don’t know what hit me, but I’ll be alright.
I pulled her closer to me enough for her to hear my pleading heart. I placed by hand gently behind the small of her back and I wanted to pull her closer to me but I didn’t. I need to tell her now before its to late “From the very first moment I met you, your eyes captured my soul but my mind and heart refused. You helped me the light (y/n) and I thank you for that. I thank you for starting a war in my body because if it wasn’t for you, I would be miserable and I would of never given love a chance”. We weren’t dancing fancy, we been moving side to side gently enjoying our hearts speaking truthfully to one another.
How many times do I have to tell you, Even when you’re crying you’re beautiful too, The world is beating you down, I’m around through every mood, You’re my downfall, you’re my muse, My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues I can’t stop singing, it’s ringing, in my head for you
“You’re beautiful soul light a fire inside my cold heart and you forced me to open up and love. I need you to know something (y/n), you are a goddess. I know you may not believe me when I say it but I’ve been all over the world but no one, and I mean no one, can compare to your beauty. You are a goddess and I am grateful that I’m going to live the rest of my life as your servant and king. I will worship you till my last breath, when my heart stops beating just know its last beat was made for you.”
Give me all of you cards on the table, we’re both showing hearts risking it all, though it’s hard
I finally managed to twirl her around and I brought her closer to me so I can feel that our hearts our mending together. I need her to feel that my heart belongs to her, that she is the reason for why I look forward to waking up in the morning. Why I look forward to life in general. I started to break down and hug her while crying. She looked up at me and she had tears in her eyes as well.
‘Cause all of me, Loves all of you, Love your curves and all your edges, All your perfect imperfections, Give your all to me, I’ll give my all to you, You’re my end and my beginning, Even when I lose I’m winning, 'Cause I give you all of me And you give me all of you
“ (y/n) thank you for everything. I will never be tired of showing my gratitude towards you because if it wasn’t for you, my life would be black and white. You added the color into my life and you made me feel like a person. I always believed no one would ever understand me because I was believing Zen’s words for a long time, I’m just a robot. I was believing that I had no right in this world that I’m just someone who is wasting precious energy. But you (y/n) you saved me. Thank you for killing me. Thank you for killing the old me and for helping me rebuild myself into a real man. I am in love with you forever and always and you’re my end and my beginning. I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together and I pray to god that I will die in your arms. I love you (y/n).”

She’s very at-ease the whole time, but also beaming and excited.
The wedding was indoors, in a large ballroom looking place. There was a hallway leading to the ceremony room, and another hallway leading to restrooms and other facilities. The decorations were simple, mostly darker maroon velvet covers on things with white as the accent color. It reminded you vaguely of red velvet cakes.
Surprisingly, she really enjoyed planning it out, she spends a lot of time planning her vows especially.
If she wore a tux, it would be a very dark plum color with blue and red wrist cuffs. She wore a tie instead of a bow-tie. She’d wear her afro naturally.
Nothing really “goes wrong” at your wedding, it has a very peaceful atmosphere overall.
You don’t follow the “you can’t see the bride until the ceremony” ritual, she assures you it won’t matter. You two spend the day together until it’s time to get ready, then you separate for a bit until the ceremony.
Some of your relatives make off-hand remarks about Garnet wearing her visor the whole time. It irritates you but you don’t let it ruin the wedding.
Come time for the ceremony, you and Garnet have dopey smiles plastered on your faces, she even giggles a few times which made you smile wider.
Her vows are short, but genuine, her demeanor changed from giggly and happy to sincere in an instant. “Today, you and I make a commitment to one another. To stay together. To act together. To suffer together. To celebrate together. From this day forth, you will always have someone to put your faith into, to share your joy and your pain with.” She takes your hands- “I love you.”
She takes her visor off to kiss you, looking you in the eyes before pressing a gentle kiss on your lips, smiling as she pulled away.
The after party consists of lots of karaoke, dancing and chatting. Afterwards you went home with your wife, holding one of her hands as she carried a tuckered out Steven in the other.
There’s lots of nervous laughter from Ame, her jokes don’t deliver well all day and she’s very affectionate- yet quiet. It’s pretty out of character for her. You could tell she’s got a lot on her mind.
You and Ame let Pearl plan a lot for the two of you, so the decor was very elegant, lacy tablecloths with lilac and (favorite color) trimming or ribbons, even the flowers were color-coordinated. It clashed a little bit with the beach simple setting, admittedly, but it was still very pretty.
If she wore a tux, she wouldn’t actually wear a tux at all. She’d wear a white collared shirt with a black vest and dark purple slacks. Her hair would be up in a pony tail.
If she wore a dress, it would still but on the more casual side. (Something like this!) with her hair down, but pulled back out of her face.
The ceremony starts off well, but midway through Ame starts crying, she tells you she’s okay. When it comes time for her to say her vows, she grabs you by the face and kisses you. She pulls back but keeps you close and whispers “I-I didn’t make any! I didn’t know what to say I didn-” you pull her back in for a kiss and assure her it’s okay.
You two keep pecking little kisses across each other’s faces.
She holds your hand as the two of you walk down the isle together, wiping her tears away and looking at you with glistening eyes.
During the after party, Greg preforms lots of his songs as the two of you just sit and listen, peacefully. There’s lots of actual partying happening, but you two just wanted to spend time with each other.
Peridot makes a big dork of herself during her speech, telling you how you’re now legally fused with the “superior quartz”. Ame giggles and scoffs at it, so do you. Garnet takes the mic from her and expresses how happy she is for Amethyst, and gives you two her best wishes.
The two of you dance together to cheesy pop love songs on the dance floor, giggling to each other again.
You both decided to have your wedding in a chapel. (She just loved the aesthetic of it so much)
The decor is all white and cream colors, she really stressed that “the light shining through the stain glass might make some colors unflattering to look at”, you agreed for her sake, she was pretty stressed.
If she decided to wear a tux, she’d wear a similar one to what she wore in Mr. Greg (It’s Over Isn’t It episode), perhaps a different color, like pale blue. The accent colors would all be pastels, of course. She’d wear her hair normally.
If she wanted a dress, she’d wear something simple with elegant details that flowed well. (something like this!), she’d wear her hair normally still, but would wear some sort of hair accessory. Very pale silver leaves, pearls, something simple but lovely like that.
You did follow traditional rituals with her, more for the fun of it instead of actual belief in them.
There was a light drizzle of rain before the reception, it stopped quickly and left little glittering water droplets onto the stain glass windows.
The reception went over well, Pearl recited her vows without skipping a beat. “From this day forward, I, Pearl, take you, (y/n) to be my spouse. To have and to hold, in peace and in strife, I will stay by your side. So long as your heart still beats and my gem still shines, I will love you.”
The kiss was short and sweet, with Pearl’s nose bumping into your own briefly, making you smile.
During the after party, you and Pearl slow danced a lot. There was a dance where you traded off partners with someone else, which was a lot of fun. It broke off into more loose and dorky dancing afterwards.
Pearl took you outside to the church garden to walk around and be with you in peace for a while.
Greg was the one to give you two the “good luck, I’m so happy for the two of you!” speech, he looked especially happy the whole time. You noticed he and Pearl talking a lot, too.
The two of you stayed until everyone had left and cleaned up together, Pearl would give you little cheek kisses when you would pass each other to throw something away.
She was VERY excited, but terribly nervous. She’d ask you tons of questions about this “tradition” and how to celebrate, occasionally making off-hand “that’s weird” or “oh! that sounds fun!” remarks.
Peri wanted to hold the ceremony in the barn after reading it’s supposed to be held in a “special place”.
Lapis, Pearl, and Garnet helped remodel and redecorate for the occasion. Lapis had made a large ring of water around the barn, not in front the entrance of course. Garnet moved a lot of things outside and behind the barn out of sight, with some help from Greg and his van. Pearl and Peri took care of actual decorating for the most part. Peri made some wind-chime looking meep-morps out of tin cans and pieces of different colored glass, she hung them at the entrance of the barn. Pearl set up chairs in the barn, making a reception area in the back. A large piece of white tulle hung from the ceiling, creating a large upside down V looking shape, it was weighted down from moving by fabric flowers. There was more white tulle on the walls, mainly near the entrance, (looking like curtains) and hanging from the high points of the ceiling with more of Peri’s meep morps. It was odd looking, but very pretty.
If Peri wore a suit, it would be green, with a bright green bowtie. She’d wear her hair as usual, but would make sure it was extra well kept. No pieces sticking out or out of shape!
If she wanted a dress, she’d wear something shorter and cuter, (ideal to walk and party in later, she planned it out ahead of time). (Something like this!) The top part of her hair would be pulled back and secured with a barrette, with the bottom still flared out a bit.
During the reception, Peri kept looking at you, she’d smile and her cheeks would flush.
Her vows were incredibly dorky, but there was a lot of sincerity to them. “Fusion- it’s the most intimate a gem can be with another; or is it? They share their physical and mental state with each other, they become one. Here on this day, we become one, we’ll share our lives together from this day forward. Our physical and mental states combine, but stay separate, making us use honesty and communication. We don’t share a body, but we’re still one. Today, I fuse my life with yours.”
Peri’s vows earned an odd look, a giggle, and an “awh” from Garnet within seconds of each reaction.
She actually missed the first time she went in to kiss you, kissing you on the side of your mouth. She realized this and awkwardly laughed, you cupped her face and pulled her back in for a proper kiss.
The after party was a lot of fun, there was mostly dorky dancing, and a marathon of Camp Pining Hearts in a truck bed.
She comes up and asks you if what she said was “okay”- of course it was, and you tell her she did great.
You learned Peri can’t dance. At all.
She suggested the wedding be held on the beach, you asked if she was sure, she said she was. “I have enough bad memories about the ocean. It’s time to make some good ones.”
The wedding was held at night. Greg was kind enough to lend you his old light-up floor. (This one!)
Lapis heard the old saying “rain on the day of the wedding is good luck” so she made it rain throughout the morning so it would have time to dry before setting up.
Chairs had been set up on the flooring, the gentle whirring of Greg’s van made for comfortable ambiance while everyone else was quiet. There were flowers and flower petals scattered on the beach, but overall it was very simple, with the full moon overhead.
If Lapis wore a suit, it would be a simple button up with dark blue slacks. She’d roll up the sleeves and wear a loose ribbon tied in a bow around her neck instead of a tie or bowtie. She still wouldn’t wear shoes. Her hair would be in a low ponytail.
If she wore a dress, it would be simple in the front and backless with a bow at her lower back. (Something like this, the one on the left! sorry I couldn’t get a single image of it in a good resolution.) Her hair would be down like normal with the back of it in a flat braided bun, and she still wouldn’t wear shoes.
She said her vows quietly, very softly. “After all this time, I’ve finally found a home on Earth. Home is being with you. So I guess I want to stay home forever now.” she laughed a bit, but she held you hand a bit tighter, you could tell she meant it. She pulled you closer into a hug, holding you there and pressing a kiss on your cheek before putting her hand on your chin and pulling you in for a kiss.
The two of you half-heartedy listened to the speeches your friends and family gave, mostly just holding each other and appreciating the moment. Lapis paid the most attention when Steven spoke, recounting the day he met her and saying how happy he was to see you two together now.
She took you out onto the ocean and danced with you there, smiling and pressing little kisses into your shoulders and neck.
They helped set up a lot, Greg always offering to play music.
Steven and Connie were always the flower boy and ring bearer.
Steven wears a pink vest and pants with a white button up underneath, Connie wears an off the shoulder long sleeve mint dress with a white belt. Greg wears his tux from Mr. Greg.
Greg almost always references his relationship with Rose in his speeches, saying how you need to talk to one another and be honest, communication is key, you should trust the other one to love you despite your flaws. No one is perfect until you see them as they are completely, and if you still love them as they are entirely, then they’re perfect for you.
Steven always says how happy he is that his friends/family is getting married, gives you the best wishes he can, makes a handful of jokes.
Connie doesn’t give speeches, but she is very happy to be around and says congratulations when the ceremony is over.
Greg, Steven and Connie do karaoke- Greg and Steven are happy to do back-up vocals for people, too. They all sing very well!
Steven and Greg welcome you to their family afterwards.
Please oh please continue the Noir series where Claire was being blackmailed to hurt Jamie and Jamie took Claire away. (I don't remember the title)
Mod Note: Noir was on my personal account, Anon. Thank you so much for the ask - I am planning on writing another couple of chapters to finish it off, but have something from Imagine instead as a compromise for the moment. I hope that’s okay <3
Persuasion: A Show!Verse Alternative Wedding: Part 2.
Pulling the thick sheets up around me I let my leg fall free of the tight bindings. The fresh air against my skin felt good and the exposed flesh of my back prickled at the sensation of being watched. I’d known the second Jamie had entered the room, his soft footfalls alerting me immediately. He was quiet, but not quite quiet enough.
“Sorry, Claire…” he sighed, shifting the hair away from my forehead as he knelt beside the bed, “I didna mean to disturb ye.”
