For my first exhibition, I made a big photo panel of Mt. Rushmore and made neon yarn laser beams come out of those dead presidents eyes.
I’d extend yarn every day during my show, make it look like all the beams were reflecting every time they hit the wall.
It got all crazy by the last day of my exhibition but it was fun watching people going through the neon yarn web to see some of my embroidered photos!
Oh oh and I named my first exhibition “”. I couldn’t come up with a better title.haha


Collaborated with a Japanese singer Kaela Kimura for NYLON JAPAN!

For this photo-shoot, I tried to visualize sound waves by sewing 26 balls of yarn onto photo panels of gramophones. Yarn would hit the wall, reflect and reach her ears.

I took up embroidery and weaving only 2 years ago. Who would have thought I would be doing installations and working with a famous singer! Crazinesssssss
