Classic steamboats have been a staple of Disney rivers since Disneyland first began operation in 1955. These attractions, which currently exist in four Disney Parks, welcome guests on a scenic, leisurely cruise around their respective bodies of water. Recorded spiels provide an audio tour as guests paddle past various sights along the way. Disneyland Paris boasts two riverboats, the Molly Brown, (seen here) and the Mark Twain, which together form the Thunder Mesa Riverboat attraction. Paired with the calmness of river travel and the ornate designs of the boats, the steamboat experience is a welcome piece of tranquility that continues to delight guests today.
