1. Spotify, SoundCloud, or Pandora?

Pandora 💖 I’ve had the same Pandora account for years. Looking through my old stations is like a trip down memory lane.

4. Do you like your name? Why?

Nah. My full name is 90’s trailer trash chic, lmao. You think I’m kidding, I am not. My mother named me, and her side of the family is made up of poor hillbillies. Her first name is misspelled, and her middle name is Jo. My middle name is the most generic, white trash name of the 90’s. Like, it’s one of the most popular names for the decade. Bonus fact: I have a different last name than both of my parents because my mother misspelled my father’s last name on my birth certificate.

When I was younger, I went by a piece of my middle name. I hated my name because I felt it was sooo boring and average. So, I picked the most unusual name I could have, and it still be apart of my name. I wanted to be interesting, different, to prove I was separate from everyone down to something as simple as my name. Blah, blah, blah, teenage angst, blah, “im so random x3,” blah, blah. Haha.

As I’ve gotten older, however, I’ve chosen the plain part of my first name. Anna. It’s screams normality and monotony, with a tiny bit of class. It’s a nice name to cloak my being in. It’s got nothing to prove; it simply exists.

Names are important to me. Words in general are important to me.

So, while I don’t like my full name, I like the part of it that I have chosen for myself.

32. Three favorite “girl” names?

Boring classical names or names from the period of history known as the Edwardian era when people lost their effing minds and started naming kids the weirdest shit.

Beatrice, Effie Lou, Dido.

It’s a good thing I’m not having kids 😂
