“There is something inherently valuable about being a misfit. It’s not to say that every person who has artistic talent was a social outcast, but there is definitely a value for identifying yourself differently and being proud that you are different” - Happy 27th Birthday Daniel Jacob Radcliffe b. 23 July 1989

The panel was also memorable for Gilgun’s contributions. The English actor was by turns hysterically ribald and poignant and always frank, particularly when speeding through a chronicle of his life’s story: how some delinquent behavior as a kid led to acting classes as punishment; how this led work on the British soap Coronation Street and other shows, including Misfits and Emmerdale; and how a battle with drugs “left me with a drug-induced bipolar disorder. That’s where I am at now.” The audience laughed; he did tell the tale in rather entertaining fashion. “Don’t cheer that,” he said. “That’s a terrible role model. I’m lucky I’m not in jail. This –” (referring to his work on Preacher and being at Comic-Con) “– is a big deal, jokes aside.” He also spoke about his ADHD and offered advice to an audience member who said she suffered from it, as well. Cautioning against feeling a shame that might lead to more hardship, he said: “Embrace the s— out of it. … I urge anyone suffering from it to embrace it.
—  Joseph Gilgun regarding his start in film, mental illness, and ADHD.

How would the misfits guys react to their Significant other getting jealous??

Nathan: He’d get so cocky, honest to god. He would grin and smirk at you and his ego would get 10 times bigger. He would tease you with things like ‘you jealous, babe?’ all night and would be such a dick about it.

Simon: He’d be quite shocked and taken aback by it, he never thought you would care that much but seeing you be jealous makes him oddly happy. It reminds him you care a lot about him so he’s very smiley afterwards.

Curtis: It totally turns him on when you get jealous. He loves that you care so much and it would not only boost his ego but would absolutely turn him on. It was a good excuse to remind you how much he cared about you.

Rudy: Rudy’s a smirking, giggly mess when you’re jealous. His ego inflates bigger than a balloon and he teases you constantly. But he takes time out from teasing to remind you that you’re the only one for him.

I'll be blunt

Or maybe you’ve been a long time fan and have been dying to meet my bad self or @lord-momonga or the rest- hey, I don’t judge. Know that the Overlord rp thrives on the misfits who bring their bedazzling faces to the group chat. A mysterious drifter named Paul and his dog Abbie make their way towards Mexico through the barren desert of the old west. In an attempt to shorten their journey they cut through the center of a large valley, landing themselves in the forgotten town of Denton, a place now dubbed by locals as a “valley of violence.” The once popular mining town is nearly abandoned, and is controlled by a brash group of misfits and nitwits—chief among them the seemingly untouchable Gilly, who is the troublemaking son of the town’s unforgiving Marshal. As tensions rise between Paul and Gilly, Denton’s remaining residents bear witness to an inevitable act of violence that starts a disastrous chain reaction, infecting the petty lives of all involved and quickly dragging the whole town into the bloody crosshairs of revenge.

For Tulip, the most interesting thing to me is that of which you don’t know about her. How much life we go through acquiring armor that shields our flaws and vulnerabilities. The show encourages the world to allow our vulnerabilities and flaws to be more accepted rather than holding everyone up to the impossible ideals and expectation. Jessie, Tulip and Cassidy — this trinity of misfits — it’s not that you forgive them for their mistakes, but you sympathize and empathize with them and you do generate a sort of love.
—  Ruth on Preacher’s undertone of tolerance and acceptance.

Ok, I know Blaze is there in the sneak peak, but will the Misfits spin-off feature the band's backstory, ie, how they formed? Or maybe the members individual backstories? Also, does this version of Jetta still have a history with the Tinkerbillies?

We will definitely be exploring some backstory of The Misfits in the new book. More than that I don’t want to say at this time.

Jetta has definitely been in a band before, but it might not be called The Tinkerbillies.

ETA: Eh. Tinkerbillies means wannabes and that doesn’t seem like a band name Jetta would sign on for…

Here’s the Thing, October, 2016, Ylva. By Emily O’Beirne.

It’s only for a year. That’s what sixteen-year-old Zel keeps telling herself after moving to Sydney for her dad’s work. She’ll just wait it out until she gets back to New York and Prim, her epic crush/best friend, and the unfinished subway project. Even if Prim hasn’t spoken to her since that day on Coney Island.

But Zel soon finds life in Sydney won’t let her hide. There’s her art teacher, who keeps forcing her to dig deeper. There’s the band of sweet, strange misfits her cousin has forced her to join for a Drama project. And then there’s the curiosity that is the always-late Stella.

As she waits for Prim to explain her radio silence and she begins to forge new friendships, Zel feels strung between two worlds. Finally, she must figure out how to move on while leaving no one behind.
