A quick and easy tutorial for those wanting to update mirrors that aren’t working after the toddler patch. Simply, the problem is just like the lighting patch of 2016; tuningID names have been simplified and the ones no longer used have been removed from the game files. Because of this the game throws a script error because that tuning file cannot be found and objects cannot be placed. So what can we do? Replace the old tuning names with the new ones.
For mirrors, the new generic tuning IDs are:
Tuning Name: object_mirror
Tuning ID: 14948
Tuning Name: object_mirror_wall
Tuning ID: 36584
Simply follow the steps above to change out the tuning names and values then your mirror should work (but check all swatches ingame to make sure you didn’t miss any). Be sure to keep a backup copy if you make a mistake! You must change all tuning names and IDs in all the object definition resources. Just doing one object definition resource will not be enough as each swatch has its own unique one. This is a little tedious, but gets the job done. Hopefully this will help those not sure what to do.

You’ve always felt comfortable at Lux. You knew the place
like the back of your hand and knew you were always welcomed here. But looking
at Maze’s floor-length mirror in front of you, you’ve never felt so anxious.
Today was important. You had a date. Sort of.
Since your break up with your ex, Maze had been going out of
her way to drag you to every club or kickback in town. And that was fine, more
than fine considering her original plan to hunt down the sorry excuse of a guy
you used to call a boyfriend. You loved Maze’s loyalty, but you also enjoyed
not being a co-conspirator for murder.
Needless to say, your last seven months have been the must
fun you’ve had since your ex. So it was strange when Maze started passing out
offers to “hook you up” with a guy. You hadn’t paid much mind towards dating,
but you supposed it wouldn’t hurt to test the waters again. You agreed for Maze
to set something up for you, and that’s how you ended up here.
Standing in the middle of Maze’s room with one of her less
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now you were
having your doubts. Maze was kind enough to lend you her closet, but no matter
how good you looked in your form-fitting black dress and strappy heels, you
couldn’t help but feel like you should call the whole thing off.
You fiddled with the hem of your dress nervously before
taking a deep breath, giving yourself a short pep talk and striding out the
door in faux confidence.
You only made it a few steps into the parlor before you
collided with someone and began to wobble dangerously on your heels. You yelped
as you felt yourself begin to fall but then pulled upright as they wrapped
their arms around your waist.
“If you wanted me to hold you, all you had to do was ask,
You stood in front of your floor length mirror wearing the dress. This was the dress you would be wearing as your best friend, your better half, your soulmate, got married. You were the maid of honor. Hyunsoo. The person who was by your side through everything, your first love, your first heart break, her first love, her second, and third. You shared music and clothes and shoes and secrets. Everything. She was it. And she was irreplaceable.
“My, my, my - don’t you look dashing,” Lily giggled as Severus walked out of the dressing room.
“I look ridiculous…” Severus said, looking at himself in the floor length mirror of the store. He was wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a black t-shirt that was very snug against his body, and a gray beanie hanging off part of his head.
“No way! You look great,” Lily assured him. She walked over and stood behind him.
“This can’t be what Muggle teens wear everyday.”
“Well, not all of them, but I think this is a great look for you. Especially with your long hair,” Lily said as she ran her fingers through his hair.
Severus felt his face go red.
“I guess I can get used to it,” he said.
“Try on the next outfit too!” Lily beamed as she motioned for him to go back into the dressing room.
Lily playfully catcalled when Severus came out again. This time he was wearing light washed skinny jeans, blue and white checkered button down, and a backwards snapback hat.
“No, this is definitely my favorite,” Lily smiled.
“I don’t know…”
“Trust me, you look great. You have to get this one too!”
“Okay, okay,” Severus chuckled.
He went back into the dressing room, changed back into the clothes he came there with, and walked out with the outfits in hand.
They both walked to the register and Severus handed over the money his mother gave him for the day.
“Why do I continue to let you drag me shopping?” Severus smirked.
“Because you know I have impeccable fashion sense.”
“That’s a matter of opinion,” Severus said, which got him a shove from Lily.
“And for that, you’re paying for icecream,” Lily said as they walked out.
“You know, I think I can get used to the snapback,” Severus said, grabbing it from the bag and putting it on.
Lily giggled as she put her arm around Severus’ shoulder.
