5 shot at Black Lives Matter protest camp in Minneapolis

Five protesters affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement were injured Monday after an encampment they had set up in Minneapolis came under fire from multiple gunmen. The protesters were treated at area hospitals. According to an eyewitness on the scene Monday, the men, all wearing masks, caused suspicion before opening fire. More as this story develops.

Two Muslim men were wounded in a shooting on their way to attend overnight prayers at a mosque in Minneapolis Wednesday morning. The Muslim men were in a car stopped at a corner, when two white men came up to them, shouted anti-Muslim epithets and opened fire. Minneapolis police announced Thursday that they will be investigating the incident as a possible hate crime. WTF is going in Minnesota?!

Some Questions, Answers About Minneapolis Police Shooting

The fatal shooting of a black man by a Minneapolis police officer has prompted nearly two weeks of protests and led to calls for answers as state and federal authorities continue to investigate.


Protesters have demanded that video be released, but authorities have said doing so at this time would taint the investigation!!!

All these issues are paramount! If our government wants peace, if they want to “pacify” Jamar’s defenders, they must show us the video! There can be no peace as long as they don’t respect our position and our feelings! We are full members of society and have the right to know the truth (though I’m sure that it will cause a new wave of protests)!

Their reluctance to shed light on the situation says that cops have something to hide! Probably, they will release the video only a year later, as they did after Laquan McDonald’s death.  

I’m sure we’ll see another example of abuse of power by cops!

4 arrested in shooting at Minneapolis Black Lives Matter protest, 4chan tentatively linked

The New York Times reports four suspects are in custody for the Nov. 23 shooting that injured five people: “Allen Lawrence Scarsella, 23; Nathan Gustavsson, 21; Daniel Macey, 26; and Joseph Backman, 27.” All four are white men and, according to the Times, they appear to have used the online message board 4chan to meet up. Video appears to show two of the men engaging in extremely suspicious behavior.
