“When Teamwork Doesn’t Work for Women”. 2016.

For a NYT article about institutional bias and how it negatively affects women in academic fields. More specifically, about how women get no credit for research papers when they are co-authored by a man. Feminist issues are extremely important to me, so I’m so so so happy I got the chance to illustrate for this. Lots of thanks to AD Minh Uong :)

2015 year-end post!

Wanted to share some of my favorite projects from the past year. 2015 has presented me with so many amazing opportunities. The first novel I’ve illustrated is out with McSweeney’s, one of my pieces will be in the upcoming Society of Illustrators show, and I’ve had a chance to really push my gif work in collaboration with Tumblr, Universal, and Ray-Bans. I have another set of gifs to debut in the new year!

I am endlessly grateful to all of the people who enjoy and share my work, as well as all of the wonderful people i’ve had a chance to work with. Happy New Year everyone!

I was extremely fortunate once again to illustrate a piece for the NY Times Sunday Business section. Thanks again to AD Minh Uong. For those of you interested in reading the story, it can be found here. It details a new method of tackling the initial thought process of team projects.

Also, I’d like to apologize for the lack of content posts lately. I got a job that takes up an extremely large chunk of my time. Fortunately, a lot of my job involves illustration, so it rarely feels like I’m working. The downside is, I can’t share any of this stuff with you guys at the moment. But you can expect to see it…I don’t know actually… Haha. Hopefully soon. Thanks for sticking around.
