long ago i hated myself because of my skin color. i have always been surrounded by people who don’t appreciate how beautiful our skin looks and it made me so upset that i cried out to my God “why did you make me so dark? so black? why is my nose so big?” i constantly dreamed of how nice life would be if i was born with a lighter skin color. so fuck the media because they don’t show enough positive black representation in their shows movies and on magazine covers. black is beautiful. you are beautiful. #blackout

I can’t even with Tyler

I know this boy
And no matter how much I tell him how much he means to me
He still thinks I think of him as just a friend

I know this girl
And she’s in love with this boy
I quietly watch them fall in love with each other
I choke down all the words I really want to say
And all that comes out is
“You two are cute together”

See the thing about unrequited love
No matter how much you try to run from it
It has this nasty habit of sneaking up on you when you are most vulnerable

Art and Video Games: Kazuma Kaneko

Kazuma Kaneko is an artist acclaimed to fame for his contributions to Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner and Devil May Cry 3, but his most known contributions come from the Megami Tensei series.  His illustrations are equally attractive and eerie; Kaneko’s demons are often an interesting interpretation of mythologies and religions, while the humans, though regularly having gaudy fashion sense, are pale and contemplative.  Kaneko’s style is a strange mixture of the vivid and the melancholy.
