probably the worst quality pictures but also the best pictures I’ve ever taken (this was during the, no exaggeration, 10 minute period where Michael stood on stage smiling and looking like an angel while the arena screamed and chanted his name)
“Damn it, that’s it. I’m done!” Michael yelled, moments after he let his head rest onto his hands.
“W-what happened?” I worriedly asked, stopping the typing that I was doing on my laptop.
“Do you need a massage? Stressful days on the studi-…” I got up, only to be yelled at again.
“Take a hint, Y/N.” Michael impatiently said.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I nodded my head in disagreement.
“Shit, you really are clueless.” Michael bitterly laughed, throwing his head back from it.
“Michael, tell me what the fuck is happening.”
“Don’t you get it? I don’t feel the same, Y/N. I don’t get those damn butterflies anymore, the sparks are lost, I’m tired of you. It’s just that-…” He started off.
“You don’t love me anymore.” I concluded, putting it weakly.
“Where the hell did I go wrong?” I asked him, tears threatening to spill as I sunk down on the edge of the bed.
“I don’t know. But I’m sure as hell that the destruction of this doesn’t have to do with me.” Michael said in a stern tone.
“You don’t know? You fucking don’t know? And you’re blaming this on me? I’ve done nothing else but be there for you. Be a good girlfriend. And this is what I get?” I bitterly spat, the first set of tears already pouring down as I stood up, looking up at him.
“You don’t get it.” Michael chuckled.
“Then tell me what the fuck I’m not getting Michael!”
“I don’t like good, I prefer great. And sorry to break it to you sweetheart, but you don’t belong to the latter.”
representation. i can’t think of a single other action show that’s led by a poc woman. not only is nikita written strongly, with kickass skills and an attitude to take down baddies, but she also has emotions that are as constant as her fighting abilities. the problem with men writing ‘strong women’ is that they’re written as men. this is nonexistent with her. as a poc girl i can assure you she’s what we need in mainstream tv.
the writing in general. each character is so complex, vulnerable to normal human emotions, questioning whether to act for themselves or for the greater good. they have more and more you discover abt them every episode. the plot is full of twists and turns, and keeps you hanging on.
the characters! we have sort of a main trio leading the crusade against division and they balance each other out perfectly. while nikita can let her emotions or her love for her friends almost get in the way of missions, michael is her voice of reason, can tell her when enough is enough. that works vice versa too, michael lets himself get involved in things too heavily, and nikita pulls him out before he gets hurt. then there’s birkhoff, who’s a character you don’t often see in shows now. he’s super quirky, super funny, and he brings an extremely human element into the trio that the other two are almost lacking.
it’s just so good please watch it and then talk to me abt it
“Who wants mortality? Everybody wants immortality. You want what you create to live! Be it sculpture or a painting or music or a composition. Like Michelangelo said, ‘I know the creator will go. But his work survives. That is why to escape death I attempt to bind my soul to my work.’ That’s how I feel. I give my all in my work because I want it to just live and just give all that I have.”-Michael Jackson
Today, June 25, 2016 marks 7 years since the world lost a King. We love you Michael. Always have and always will. Rest in Power.
