We are still a bit sick but our health is improving. A little.
And because we didn’t want to stay
in Richard’s now contaminated flat, we decided to spend the day with
something Richard had planned to do for a long time: Checking out the
Berlin is famous for its museums and we all know Richard and his passion
for them… I love them, too, of course even if I’d prefer an art gallery -
but we chose to visit some museums which are full of art so my passion
was also sated. I was a happy Lee. :)
We went to the Pergamon Museum which is full of ancient art and objects -
very cool indeed, if a little full. I hope no-one noticed I took a selfie with some of the statues. If you look closely, you can see Richard facepalming in the background.
After that we had a meal and went to the Bodemuseum.
There you can find everything you could wish for about sculptures and
the Renaissance… it had the most amazing paintings! I wish I could
paint like that. (Come to think of it, I might take an art class back at home. And then draw me and Rich in … interesting positions.)
But the highlight of the day was the Spy Museum. It was Richard’s chance
to pull out all his knowledge about spies and espionage. He enjoyed explaining every little thing to me very much (I felt like a little
student). And all I could do was to counter with my knowledge about all
the James Bond movies… We are such nerds but it was a huge fun.
I’m thinking about
doing a spy movie too should someone ever offer me a role… it’s quite
Richard: Well… it should be quite interesting to see a huge guy like you
as a spy… where do you want to hide? Behind a skyscraper?
