“I do not regret being who I am, being as open as I’ve been. And I am proud of myself for not apologizing for it. I don’t fit into any of the boxes that so many petty-minded little motherfuckers love to put me in, and I don’t really care.”
Break Through the Wild Side- BTS/TWS AU - Cheer Camp
Grace Stilinski has grown up in Beacon Hills all her life. She hasn’t been doing cheer camp all that long - just since she realized it was a really good way to catch the attention of certain friends of her brother - but she’s good. And everyone knows it. So it hasn’t taken her long to climb the ranks until she’s pretty much running the team.
Sadie Bennet has not grown up in Beacon Hills. She’s just the typical new girl, gravitating towards something she knows and loves in an attempt to find a place to fit in. She’s been dancing and cheering since she knew how, so cheering for the Beacon Hill Cyclones is the ideal opportunity to make friends. The only thing she has to do is befriend one extremely intimidating captain. Who terrifies her.
Grace knows that she should let the new girl on the moment she steps on the field. But she’s also not great with change, and she knows from personal experience how easy it is for especially ambitious, talented people to climb the social ladder. And she’s not sure she’s ready to let someone else in yet. Of course, it doesn’t help that her brother is annoying the shit out of her, breathing down the back of her neck, pleading her to let the new girl on the team and hook him up.
