Sally Menke was an editor. Best known for her collaborations with Quentin Tarantino, having edited all of his films unil her death in 2010. Quentin used to send greetings from the set to cheer her up when she was working.
“It’s the parts I get. A human being is a complex organism, there’s no reason a movie character who is a human being should be different. I am very blessed. Because those are the parts that are interesting to work on. I spend a good portion of my life with these characters. If they were flat and one-dimensional, I would have a very boring life.”
And once we’re in enemy territory, as a bushwhackin’ guerrilla army, we’re gonna be doin’ one thing and one thing only… killin’ Nazis. Now, I don’t know about y'all, but I sure as hell didn’t come down from the goddamn Smoky Mountains, cross five thousand miles of water, fight my way through half of Sicily and jump out of a fuckin’ air-o-plane to teach the Nazis lessons in humanity.
