GENRE SWAP: Harry Potter as a more Gothic Horror setting

A revision following the same story and details of the Harry Potter universe, but with a Gothic horror spin – where the unknown is an ever-looming presence in the shadows, the ghosts are decaying and have a real presence within the world, dark magic and its users are more monstrous and the wizarding world is all the more terrifying

everyone in harry potter is a poc: hannah abbot (x)

A pink faced girl with a white headscarf stumbled out of the line, put on the hat, which fell right down over her eyes, and sat down. ‘HUFFLEPUFF!’ shouted the hat. The table on the right cheered and clapped as Hannah went to sit down at the Hufflepuff table; the ghost of the Fat Friar waving merrily at her.

I know people imagine Dumbledore laughing in his office about all the letters that get sent to Harry and all. But I think it was really Professor McGonagall. I think it’s infinitely more hilarious to consider her sending owl after owl to 4 Privet Drive, only to appear as a cat to watch in amusement.

Everytime I see a post or hear someone say that Snape bullying Harry or Neville was not that serious–

Neville was terrible at potions, anyway. He deserved it–

Of course Snape bullied Harry. He looked like James–

Snape bullied Hermione cause she was annoying–

Snape never really bullied Ron–

Snape only called Lily a Mudblood cause he was angry–

James pushed Snape into the Dark Arts–

Lily didn’t give Snape a chance–

Lily abandoned Snape–
