mine: animation

Beyoncé choreography animation I made back in 2015
I animated it again and correct few little things like the arms, legs, rhythm etc …
Flipnote Studio on my DSi for the left one and TVPaint for the right :)

Different programs and same animation, no programs are better than others, this is only how you use them that truly matters ;)!

(posted it again, the Flipnote fox was a bit low quality, now fixed ^^)

Ever wondered what it looks like when a cartoon dog flies through a doggy door, but his head doesn’t move and just floats in mid-air?

It’s admittedly a bit of a long shot, but hey, you never know.

Scooby sticks head through, which happens to be a bit bat-shaped for reasons unknown…

…his front legs pop in…

…the rest of him pops in, and he flies forward…

except for his head, which didn’t get the memo.

There. Now you know.

We now return to your previously-scheduled Tumblr scrolling, already in progress.

Ted the Animator: “You sure that isn’t just an eensy weensy bit too much?”

Carl the Animator: “Well, imagine you were suddenly met with a bicycle-stealing goo monster. How would you react?”

Ted the Animator: “…never mind, that’s freakin’ spot on, actually.”

“The newspapers are... confusing me. A lot.”

Carl the Animator: “What, politically?”

Ted the Animator: “…huh? No, no, the newspapers in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.”

Carl the Animator: “Oh, thank goodness. Those are a much less-stressful type.”

Ted the Animator: “The scene starts out normally enough. Scooby goes to pick up the stack of 5 papers so Small Shaggy can ride his paper route.”

Carl the Animator: “5 whole papers to deliver? Better pace yourself, Shaggy, don’t wanna sprain anything during the 37 seconds that’ll take.”

Ted the Animator: “They’re all tied up with string, but sitting in the yard on this… other white thing? That looks like a pillow?”

Carl the Animator: “Ah, yes, yes, the classic Paper Delivery Pillow. A staple of all good late-80s cartoons.”

Ted the Animator: “Scooby starts rolling them, and poof, the white thing–”

Carl the Animator:Paper Delivery Pillow. Get it right.”

Ted the Animator: “…and poof, the Paper Delivery Pillow disappears into the ether.”

Carl the Animator: “And shall be sorely missed.”

Ted the Animator: “The goo monster hands Scooby another paper, which – since he didn’t get it from the pile – implies the monster deliberately walked over to someone else’s yard and stole their paper just for this gag.”

Carl the Animator: “I dunno… were I a goo monster, I’d keep a paper with me at all times. Stay up-to-date with current goo events and all that.”

Ted the Animator: “In reaction, Scooby stops… makes this face…”

Carl the Animator: “As we all would.”

Ted the Animator: “…the paper disappears from his hand, and the bike‘s basket now holds 6 papers, implying the paper teleported from his hand straight to it…”

Carl the Animator: “Yeah, it casted a recall spell.”

Ted the Animator: “I can’t… wait, why am I even asking you about this mess of a scene? You animated it.”

Carl the Animator: “No, I didn’t.”

Ted the Animator: “…what.”

Carl the Animator: “You finished it last night, remember?”

Ted the Animator: “…no?”

Carl the Animator: “It was between pot #4 & #5 of coffee. Before the pizza run, but after you put Never Gonna Give You Up on infinite loop for who knows what reason.”

Ted the Animator: “You’re making this up.”

Carl the Animator: “Check instagram.”

Ted the Animator: “You must–…

…was I really wearing that hat?”

Carl the Animator: “Yes. You said it ‘helped you animafocus better.’”

Ted the Animator: “…so, does this mean I’m the worst ever at handling late nights, or you’re the best ever for remembering this all?”

Carl the Animator: “Probably a little of both, but don’t think I don’t appreciate the stories it creates.”

The second ep of season 4 is officially out! Be sure to watch it! This one had a lot of fun designs, I’ll post those throughout the week!
