“This one’s for the dance halls, the dive bars and the 100 kids we used to play for at the Ottobar every other weekend. It’s a tribute to our roots and the history of a band that comes up in a small-town with a die-hard group of friends who all want something greater. It’s an ode to the late nights, filling up the van with half a tank of gas so we could leave for the next show before someone got jumped in the wrong part of town– Getting into Tampa at 3am and crashing on someone’s floor, saying thanks with a 30 of Coors Light and never seeing that face again. This is a dedication to all the places we’ve been that made us who we are today, the sea of sweaty hands that raised us up in low-lit clubs across America on our first tours, and all the people we owe these stories to; Nice to know you, see you ‘round” - Nice2KnoU (2017)
Overly-dramatic Otayuri!!!! Yuri’s super Extra™ and WON’T HESITATE, BITCH!!!!! Otabek is a DJ with a stoic face!!!!!! Yuri’s the more impulsive and assertive one while Otabek's more responsible and makes sure everything’s under control!!!!!!!! Otayuri has a strong friendship and actively supports one another!!!!!!!!!!!

Neil tossed his textbook onto the
coffee table with a heavy thud. “Fuck
this. I’ll take the F as long as I don’t have to think about thermodynamics
“That will not work out so well for
you when you are forced to repeat Grade 12 Physics,” Andrew said, not looking
up from the cocoon from which he was currently typing out an English essay. Neil
knew it wasn’t due for another week, but Andrew seemed unusually intent on it: he
had agreed immediately when Neil had suggested a study sleepover and he hadn’t
looked away from his laptop once in the past hour.
Neil would have to try harder.
“I’m going to get ice cream, do you
want any?” he asked, getting up and dusting off his jeans.
Andrew’s eyes flickered up to Neil’s, cold with disdain.
“Right, stupid question,” Neil said.
Andrew narrowed his eyes, nodded once,
and then went back to his essay as if Neil wasn’t even there.
Neil figured that was as good as he
was going to get, and went to pick up his coat from the pile of outerwear near
Jack woke up early, or at least earlier than Bitty who was still snoring lightly on his side. The sun was already up, and Jack took a moment to soak in the warmth of being wrapped in the sheets with his husband beside him.
He eventually got out of bed and made his way downstairs, but before he could get to the kitchen, he heard a clattering sound of a wooden spoon being dropped and hushed voices arguing. “That’s too many eggs, Annie!”
“The recipe said 5!”
“That’s not a 5! That’s a 3!”
Jack poked his head around the corner to find his children glaring at each other. Annie had her hands on her hips, flour-dusted and looking irate, while Sam glowered back at her. “Everything okay in here?” Jack interrupted.
They both jumped, and exclaimed, “Papa!”
“I hope there’s a reason for all of this?” Jack pointedly looked at the mess of spattered baking ingredients all over the usually pristine kitchen. Sam guiltily hunched his shoulders while Annie avoided his gaze. Jack raised an eyebrow, a move he’d seen Bitty use effectively on the twins on so many occasions.
“We wanted to make Daddy a birthday surprise,” Sam admitted. He scratched at a rough patch on his arm where the dough had smeared and dried. “But Annie made me put too many eggs in.”
“It’s not my fault!” Annie huffed. “I can’t read Daddy’s writing on the recipe.”
“You two shouldn’t have been trying to bake in the first place,” Jack said gravely. “You could have hurt yourselves.”
Annie’s big, brown eyes started to water and in another minute, her bottom lip would start to wobble too. “We wanted to make it special,” she sniffed.
Sighing, Jack grabbed towels out of the drawer to start cleaning up. “You two couldn’t have made him a card or something?”
“We did, but we wanted it to be extra special,” Sam muttered as he started scrubbing at the dried egg yolks that had run down the side of the counter.
Between the three of them, it didn’t take long to clean up the kitchen. “I think that’s the last of it,” Jack said in satisfaction as he threw the damp towel back into the sink. He turned to the twins. “No more kitchen surprises. I mean it.”
“Yes, Papa,” they said dutifully.
“I don’t care how many times you’ve seen your daddy bake. You need an adult around, okay?”
“Yes, Papa,” they repeated dully.
“Now, come here,” Jack said softly as he dropped down on his knees so that the twins could hug him properly, not caring that they were still covered in baking ingredients.
“Papa,” Annie said after a moment.
“Yes, ma chouette?”
“You’re an adult.”
“Yes,” Jack said slowly. He could see where she was going with this.
“Can you help us make a cake?” Annie grinned toothily at him, her tongue pushing against the spot where her front teeth had yet to grow back in.
“Please,” Sam added. “It would be the best birthday gift for Daddy!”
Jack sighed and nodded. “Fine, but it needs to be easy and won’t take too long.”
The twins jumped excitedly out of his arms and started to race around the kitchen for the rest of the ingredients.
“Daddy’s going to be so surprised,” Sam declared proudly as he set to work measuring out the flour.
Around the corner, pressed against the wall, Bitty listened to Annie’s excited chatter and Jack’s quiet hums in response. He pressed a hand against his mouth to keep from giggling as he silently crept back up the stairs to wait for his family to come surprise him.
I gotta say… the rotting garbage pile that is Tumblr.com/hell like the harvest moon/story of seasons fandom is one of the chilliest one out there? I mean I know there is only about 12 of us but still we did it guys,,,
