Let's calculate the BMI of Sonic and co.

Some characters don’t have official weight so I won’t be calculating the BMI of Amy, Blaze, Rouge, etc.

——————————————

Sonic/ Shadow/ Silver: 35kg; 100cm; BMI: 35 (overweight)

Tails: 20kg; 80cm; BMI: 31.2 (overweight)

Dr. Eggman/ Eggman Nega: 128kg; 185cm; BMI: 37.4 (overweight)

Knuckles: 40kg; 110cm; BMI:  33.1 (overweight)

Cream: 12kg; 70cm; BMI: 24.5 (normal)

Big: 280kg; 200cm; BMI: 70 (holy shit)

Vector: 200kg; 180cm; BMI: 61.7 (holy shit again)

Charmy: 10kg; 70cm; BMI: 20.4 (normal)

Espio: 36kg; 110cm; BMI: 29.8 (overweight)

E-123 Omega: 1230.512kg; 150cm; BMI: 546.9 (lol robots)

Jet: 33kg; 100cm; BMI: 33 (overweight)

Storm: 80kg; 140cm; BMI: 40.8 (overweight)

E-102 Gamma: 825.256kg; 215cm; BMI: 178.5 (y’know, robots)

Emerl: 14kg; 110cm; BMI: 11.6 (underweight but still, robots)

Metal Sonic: 125.2kg; 100cm; BMI: 125.2 (roboooooooots)

Werehog Sonic: 60kg; 125cm; BMI: 38.4 (overweight)

Chip: 5kg; 45cm; BMI: 24.7 (normal)

Orbot: 30kg; 87cm; BMI: 39.6 (robots)

Cubot: 39kg; 90cm; BMI: 48.1 (robots)

Conclusion: They’re all unhealthy, except Cream, Charmy and Chip, all started with a “C”

——————————————

originally wanted to see if Espio is underweight cuz he’s only 36kg when Knuckles who’s the same age is 40kg, and Silver seems heavy cuz Sonic/Shadow is older and have the same weight while Jet is still lighter than Silver despite being the same age. Another thing, I noticed powerhouses seem to have a higher BMI, so their height/weight isn’t as random as we thought, well, except Knuckles :’D Also, the moment when you realise Eggman is healthier than Big and Vector…but consider it invalid cuz they’re totally different species.

Wonder how it would been if after the line “ even heroes need help” appeared on screen, Tails and Amy made their entrance.

While I’m definitively more and Amy fan, and despite the way Tails has been pushed even at the expense of his own character, I do respect that his placed has been earned and wish Amy’s place were acknowledged as well instead of sidelining her in favor of characters like Knuckles who have only there because of his introduction during the third Genesis game.

Ultimately, the only two characters I really see to always follow Sonic around are Tails and Amy. I understand why Tails fans are upset over the possibility of him being written as someone that gave up on Sonic, which I agree is something uncharacteristic, even if he is not as emotionslly strong as Amy, who I think would had provided the needed moral support, reassuring that Sonic would not let things end badly for them.

Ideally, both of these characters should had been treated better as well as providing them their rightful place rather than sidelining them both in favor of Classic Sonic, whom I think has overstayed it’s welcome as well as the C-a-C, which IMO is nothing but a glorified nobody character that appeared out of nowhere and does not even have the long story that these two in the franchise’s history.

Wonder if there will ever be a game with just Sonic and the only two friends that really matter, in which they both not only show that they are far from being weak, that they can help and even do the sacrifices that no ones is ever going to do for Sonic, as well as giving each equal focus on their relation with the protagonist. Given that both Tails and Amy are here tostay and will follow Sonic everywhere he goes on his adventures, it would help to give them some much needed love and invest in their characters.

Another Writing Exercise.

Moments like these

Melinda her hand rest on Miles shoulder, and briefly looks down at his sleeping form before looking up at the stars. His head rests on her lap and he’s curled his Tails around his body for warmth.

So perfect, a moment in time that almost exists outside the pain and tragedy of the rest of the world. A snapshot of what she wishes could always be. Almost like a window int a fairy tail.

It’s hard to believe this moment of peace is the epilogue to a day full of dread and once again protecting the world from Eggman. She smiles at how peaceful he is and silently enjoys the moment with her son.

I know it can’t last forever, but for now just let me live in this moment. Let me forget for just the few hours until dawn that he’ll grow up and grow old while I can only watch.

Just until the sun awakens us, let me sleep and live in this dream where time is frozen and I’m nothing more than a mother with her child.

Let me remain long enough to inscribe this moment into my heart to carry with me along with so many others.

Her eyes grow heavy and she holds him tighter as she starts to nod off to sleep, whispering as she allows herself to drift off to slumber with him, “I love you”

Then grant me AND him as many sunrises as you can to make more.

(POV Change)

Tails slowly opened his eyes and winched at the sunlight before looking up his mother and smiling. Had they really both been so tired they passed out on the front porch swing after the usual heroics?

The kit was snapped out of his thought by his mom stirring and the sound her neck popping as he moved it side to side. She smiled as she opened her eyes and looked down at him and he smiled back

“Bright new day, huh, kiddo?” She said happily.

“Yeah, especially since we put Eggman out of commission for while yesterday” Tails answered “No way he has any robots left after that”

Then they both laughed.

“Not really.”

“Again, not really.”

“Seriously though, it hasn’t.”

“We were talking with each other during the beginning of this game.”

“This is getting ridiculous.”

“Not so much the case, madam.”

“For the last time, NO.”

“NO.”

“NOOOOO.”

“NOOOOOOO-okay that one actually is justified.”
