Friday night feast for the family today. All vegan. Spicy lentil, chickpea and spinach curry. Mild chickpea and sweet potato curry. Saag. Bombay potatoes. Sweet pickle, spicy pickle, rita and two kinds of rice. Nearly died cooking all this but it’s so good haha😅😍
Overall, rapbeh. Yung pangalawa naman is yung Anpan, fave ko ‘to sa tatlong kinain namin. May sweet azuki bean paste at mochi na filling. Mapapa-kimochi ka na lang sa sarap. Yung huli, yung Peach Custard Danish Bread, puta ‘tong tinapay na ‘to. Paasa amp.
KANTORINI FOOD PARK
Eto na mga beks. Mula UP Town Center.
Maganda yung place. Open air at sobrang aliwalas.
CHICKS 2 GO(Lower right)
Price: 100 pesos
Sobrang flop nung food nila doon. Pucha! sayang 100 pesos.
Manipis yung serving nung pork katsu nila.
Price: 250 (Large Bowl)
Beshie! Winner ‘tong bingsu nila. Sobrang sarap. Kaso medyo pricy mga lang. Pero masarap talaga. May peach, pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, at mango. The best! Sulit siya kahit papaano.
BUDBOD LEVEL UP(Upper Right)
Price: 170 pesos
MEH. Masarap yung chicken kaso sunog at sobrang dry nung fried rice. Nyeta. Dry din yung egg. Kaiyac. Hahahaha.
Price: 145 pesos for 6 pcs.
PUTA! KINASUSUKLAMAN NAMIN NA BUMILI KAMI NG CHURROS SA KANILA. Sobrang dense nung churros, tapos under cook pa. Kapag kinurot mo yung pastry sa loob, parang clay-doh. Tangjuice!
Masarap mga milkshakes at yogurt drinks nila dito. :)
Hahahaha.
Hello, and welcome to the long awaited and severely procrastinated Season 2 of Lvl.1 Chef! We’re not pulling any punches today as we jump right into a crazy spicy dish inspired by the most popular pink protagonist in all of Popstar, Kirby! I hear his new game Planet Robobot is pretty awesome, so what better way to kick off the season than with a recipe for the iconic Superspicy Curry. Although it made its debut in Kirby’s Dream Land for the original Game Boy, it’s probably more well known from its Super Smash Bros. incarnation
a curious Lvl.1 Chef approaches and quickly regrets his decisions
I want to thank my friend and fellow Kirby fan Derek Rose for his help in the conceptualization of and inspiration for this recipe. We decided this dish should be a combination of extremely spicy Indian style curry and the more mild Japanese style curry as it’s shown in the artwork. To this end we will begin by making a sauce from some traditional (I use this term loosely) red curry paste ingredients. Speaking of ingredients, the dish gets its super spicy kick from the inclusion of dried ‘Ghost Peppers’ also known as Bhut Jolokia. And at over 400 times as hot as a jalapeño, they are considered to be among the top 5 spiciest chiles in the world and definitely helps this curry live up to its namesake! It may take some searching, but I was able to find ghost peppers in the dried chili section of a large local grocery store.
Just to clarify, when I say this recipe is super spicy, I mean it! Although it might not make you shoot fireballs out of your mouth*, please feel free to dial back the spice to suit your pallet. I’d rather have you make something that tastes good rather than something “accurate.” Always cook responsibly and try to avoid the following scenario:
*Lvl.1 Chef is not responsible for any fireball related damages
As usual, click the Keep Reading link below for the recipe and detailed procedures! Happy cooking everyone, it’s good to be back :].
And quite frankly my first piece of non-academic writing in a long time.
Saitima pinched the corners of his eyes at the bridge of his
nose as a shudder wracked through his body. It was worse than he ever imagined.
Far worse than losing every last hair on his head or forgetting his coupons on
the tack board he kept by the door for the sole purpose of making his coupons
easier to remember.
This Asami clearly belonged in jail and Takaba? Takaba
seemed like such a normal young man and yet he found himself back in the arms
of this criminal time and time again. Saitima tossed the offending manga into
the bin. Scratching his shiny dome he scowled. There was one portion of his
training regime that he never overtly revealed whether it was to Genos or to
his foes. 100 pushups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, running, and of course lots and
lots of hero manga. Dragon Ball Z, Tiger and Bunny, he even had a few copies of
Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo lying around somewhere. He
shrugged. Maybe this was one situation where manga couldn’t help him out. He
certainly wasn’t going to force himself on Genos like that. Plus it wasn’t
always so clear cut in real life. Sure he was pretty sure he’d be the one on
top. He was the one with an actual tangible penis and all.

I love the ‘man angered after ordering a mild curry’ story for several reasons
but one of them is if it had been my Dad he’d of been driven to order a vindaloo or even phall just to earn respect. Like his ability to handle spicy food is a mark of pride for him. Goading my father to injury has always been very easy.
He once ate a scotch bonnet and was like (while crying) “IT’S FINE I’M OK.” and my Mum went “I bet you can’t eat three in a row”
