mickey see

So I was watching my friend Riordan playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix last night. He was wiped out during a boss fight and had the option to get Mickey’s help—but he chose to restart the fight instead.

Which got me thinking… Imagine you’re Mickey Mouse and for whatever reason you happen upon a climactic battle between your anime protag friend and a cheap tough enemy. You’re waiting for your chance to make the most dramatic entrance possible an opening to strike… only for your friend to lose the will to live and quit life—more likely than not out of spite.

Imagine; succumbing into darkeness. You’ve lost all hope. The pitch blackness grows thicker. Maybe it’s time to give up? All hope is lost. And than you feel the touch of a friend. A friend who is always there for you. His voice high pitch, his gloves envelope your small and fragile hands. “Are you okay?” And you open your eyes and see mickey fucking mouse.

  • what she says: I'm fine.
  • what she means: In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Roger puts his hand down on a dusty chair. When he takes his hand away there are finger prints in the dust. Someone took the time to make sure the prints matched exactly to his cartoon hands. The editing is flawless. So much love and attention went into this movie, so many details that would only be seen through careful re-watching. Also you get to see Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny in the same scene which is pretty cool.

Mickey Mouse will be turning 89 in a couple days so I thought it would be great to do a drawing chain to celebrate it.

What you need to do is draw mickey mouse in the drawing from above (yes, the one with the confused mouse)  and then reblog this post with the final result, OPTIONAL. you can tag someone so that person can join if they want to

“It was hard seeing you...”

Alright so I need to talk about this part:

Because this pisses me off so bad. And you may wonder why. Well I’m going to tell you.

Because Ian had a hard time seeing Mickey in prison, he left Mickey alone to suffer by himself. But you know what, Mickey never left Ian when it was “hard”.

Do you think this wasn’t hard for Mickey:

Or this wasn’t hard?

No! It was fucking hard! It torn Mickey. But you know what he did? He did this:

So what if it was hard for Ian to see Mickey like that? Mickey needed Ian. Ian should’ve been there for him.
