‘Real Men Cry’: Photographer Sam Taylor-Wood photographed some of Hollywood’s leading actors in an intimate and rare moment. Taylor-Wood said, ’Some of the men cried before I even finished loading the camera’. Pictured in order here are some of her subjects, Hayden Christensen, Daniel Craig, Ben Stiller, Jude Law, Michael Masden, and the late and great Robin Williams.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Reservoir Dogs (1992): dir. Quentin Tarantino; Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Masden, Steve Buscemi, Chris Penn

Although possibly one of the best Tarantino films in my opinion (Inglorious Bastards being my favourite) it was the case of watching the film at the wrong time, my mood at the time of watching this was all wrong making my attention go else where. However I still thought it was a very good film, with a fantastic cast and the unquestionable style of Tarantino Reservoir Dogs did not fail to impress. When starting to watch this I expected, as many Tarantino films present, some fast paced action with a lot of blood, however I was pleasantly surprised when I found that the film was mostly filled with dialogue among its very impressive cast but not without the signature overly violet scenes that no Tarantino film could be without. Steve Buscemi brilliant as always and Michael Masden personally my favourite player in any Tarantino film he is part of and the most famous scene of Reservoir Dogs (the ear cutting scene) accompanied by Masden singing and dancing to ‘Stuck in the middle with you’ is undoubtedly my favourite. A second watching of this when my mood is right is definitely in the cards.
