11 THINGS TO DO IN 2017 | Julio Balda
  1. Understand that everyone is growing, and changing, including yourself.

  2. Don’t isolate yourself, surround yourself with those that love you. and that TRULY love you.

  3. Listen to music, indulge yourself, let it wash all over your body, in every situation.

  4. Don’t check their instagram.

  5. Write about what you’re feeling, express them, don’t be afraid to share them.

  6. Learn and understand your worth. You are worthy.

  7. Treat your body nicely, this includes your mind.

  8. Smile if you see them, show them you’re not affected.

  9. Don’t be affected.

  10. Don’t romanticize the past.

  11. Live your truth.

Just got my Psych2Go @psych2go magazine today. I know it’s the first issue and it’s from October, but I wanted to make sure I liked what’s in it before I bought the newest ones, plus, it was for ADHD/mental health awareness month, and since I have ADHD, I wanted to see what’s in this one even more. I do plan on buying the rest, eventually. Thank you Psych2Go for helping spread the awareness. You are an awesome team. The art is absolutely gorgeous and adorable, by the way.

y’all more focused on how much pussy Luke has eaten in the past instead of the fact Michael has been pretending not to be depressed and he suffers with insomnia and anxiety and that they have a huge tour coming up, worry about Michael and his FUTURE health rather than Luke’s past. Stop focusing on the wrong things honestly..

BIG NEWS, NO, HUGE NEWS!

A new fanzine I have started has gone public! THE MENTAL WHIFF is a monthly fanzine covering PUNK and other EXTREME, UNUSUAL, and UGLY forms of art and music (or dada and noise). Each issue will be roughly 8 pages (full page/letter) and will always be $1. (1.50 PPD US 2.20 PPD INTL)

The first issue (pictured above) will be released JANUARY 2016 and should feature an interview with WMASS punk group UROCHROMES as well as other B$.

There is a website for it at mentalwhiff.org that will SOON have radio shows posted on it. This fanzine also accept submissions (no guarantees of publish) if you are interested in contributing.

I’m super excited because @lellypad, Laura, was a part of some of the digital doodles and design in @psych2go Magazine, Issue 2 and she has some of the cutest drawings within it!

If you ordered a copy, physical copies should get to you by the end of the month, and digital copies should be received in your mail inbox today - if you forgot to order, we plan on opening a shop soon where you can purchase magazines, both issue 1 and 2 so far. So keep your eyes peeled!

If you are really interested in receiving a digital copy, as editor-in-chief, please feel free to message me about it! :)

Before tonight, Disney only made two movies that made me openly weep: Lilo and Stitch 2 & Inside Out. I am not ashamed to say that tonight, Gravity Falls made it happen for the third time in my 20 years on this Earth. Alex Hirsch, if you’re reading this, I’d bet my soul that Walter Disney himself is looking down on you from heaven, clapping and weeping tears of joy with the rest of us. To quote an article from Mental_floss magazine, “If I could say to words to him, I wouldn’t waste them saying ‘Come back.’ Instead, I would say 'Thank you.’” Alex Hirsch, thank you for making Disney Channel as good as its movies.🌅🌠🌈🌲Here’s to your Big Dipper and your shooting star.

“What is news? It’s hard to quantify. Certainly news has changed completely, and the morning shows are not really designed to bring you the news, except to tell you what happened overnight, and the rest of it is a kind of magazine mentality - a little bit of this, a little bit of that. It’s harder to be an educated and informed citizen.”
