i read that profile on the guy who was gonna be the scion of white nationalism by being presentable and nice but instead that became a morally passable person and renounced his father’s movement and now i’m seeing articles about the alt right and there is this emphasis on like ~the new face~ of white supremacy, but i feel like it all misses the fact that the kkk was always judges and doctors and local politicians. slaveowners were the untitled aristocrats of the south, in their romantic plantations. it’s corporations that profit the most from poverty, it’s men in suits at country clubs that draw the red lines, it’s ivy league-educated folk who create legacy policies to hedge out jewish students.
