New still from “Batman and Harley Quinn”! Also, main cast confirmed.

Batman as Batman (oops, I meant Kevin Conroy…)
Loren Lester as Nightwing, coming back to the role for the first time!
Melissa Rauch (TBBT) as Harley Quinn
Paget Brewster (TDKR, JL: Gods and Monsters) as Poison Ivy

Plot details: “Batman, Nightwing and Harley Quinn to try and stop a global catastrophe caused by Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue, AKA the Plant-Master”

I know that right now this isn’t going to heal the wound but I think it helps a little bit to think of these things. DC right now has Wonder Woman, who will fight to the end of her last breath for love, canon bisexual, and played by the wonderfully supportive Gal Gadot. Mera, who is played by the badass and bisexual Amber Heard who is an activist and an abuse survivor. Harley Quinn who is canon pan/bi and deals with mental illness and an abuse survivor, played by the talented Margot Robbie. And DC still has the Supergirl we love. That character we believed in and gave us strength is still there and will return hopefully some day, she just isn’t being played the right way right now. And although that is heart breaking don’t give up and don’t think you’re alone. Supergirl, all your heros, love you and would stick up for you.

Female characters appreciation, Part 5 (DC Ladies edition) | Pt. 1. x Pt. 4: x

“Come on out! face us like a man!”

“I’ve got a better idea…”

Remember when I used to compare Irma with other actresses? Well, I just found a new one!

Do you know Melissa Rauch?

And how about now?

Yep, this woman portrait the funny high-pitched voice Bernadette Wolowitz. I just can’t help to see her as Irma! The geeky looks, the funny sentences that matches…

And, another record, she also voiced Harley Quinn on the new DC animated movie: Batman and Harley Quinn!

-seriously, her voice acting was impressive. Have you heard her singing? AMAZING!!

And I’ll end this post asking this: If Irma would come back in the future new series (and let’s pray they let her be human this time), would you ADORE to have Melissa playing in the role of Irma Langinstein?

My Batman and Harley Quinn review Spoiler free!

First and foremost, I must put a disclaimer here because I have received death threats and harassment for expressing my views in the past (yes really). So, this is MY OPINION and if you don’t like what I have to say, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Melissa Rauch slays as Harley and Tara Strong can sit down and take notes. I hope that DC uses Melissa is other Harley voice projects going forward if we can’t have Arleen Sorkin. The amount of adult humour was a bit much, but still funny. The Nightwing/Harley thing was…. weird and what I hated the most about the movie. And the dynamic and dialogue was a bit odd but enjoyed it for what it was. I loved how Poison Ivy was used as the big villain in this movie and how they portrayed her and Harley’s relationship: best frenemies. They definitely captured that in the movie (I hate the ‘girlfriends’ thing and ot takes away from BOTH characters IMO). All of the Easter eggs were great and well used.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and it felt like Harley Quinn. If it weren’t for the off putting crude jokes and the farting (yes… farting) I would have given it higher rating.
But the most important thing is that this movie is WAY, WAY WAY better than Suicide Squad, which is and will continue to be, a shit movie.

Batman and Harley Quinn 7/10

amazing :D
