megnificent nails

NOTW. Watercolor + water spotted nails edition.

I used a LOT of China Glaze lacquers for this particular mani. And I actually used hairspray instead of hand sanitizer like most tutorials show. Overall, I’m pleased! I really love how the colors turned out. This was a collaboration with some other nail art girls for the #bestietwinnailstag on Instagram! I’m an avid instagrammer (ok, addict actually.. haha!) I’ll reveal the other girls later on! ;)

PS: I know, my cuticles are quite dry. I’M SORRY! I know it’s not really eye-pleasing. But cold weather & eczema contribute a lot -___- I can’t help it :/

NOTW. Neon ombre zebra print edition.

Wow. It’s been a while! I’ve been UBER MIA! And I’m sorry :( I haven’t had a lot of time for my nails. They’ve been pretty plain. And more than anything, a MAJOR lack of inspiration. Slowly trying to ease my way back into it! Thank you to those of you who have stuck with my blog during my absence! lol. This definitely isn’t my cleanest/best work. Or my most unique. But I love how bright and fun it is. The thumb depicts the base colors the most accurately. Anyway, have a great week, loves!

{OPI: Can’t Let Go}

This didn’t catch my attention the first time I bought the liquid sand polishes. But I was out this weekend & saw this on sale so I grabbed it. Boy, was I wrong! It’s a beautiful grape shade. I don’t think I could ever get tired of these types of polishes. So perfect!

{Hare Polish: Hooky at The Hamlet}

This polish is from Nikole’s Spring 2013 collection: The Last Queen of France (Part 2 - the jelly shades).

Gah! I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t really like green polishes. But this ones a beauty! It’s a true Kelly/shamrock green shade that has various white glitters in different shapes and sizes. It has a subtle purple shimmer and glowing blue hexes that are so hard to capture on camera. But all these elements add so much depth to this polish which is what made me love it so much!

I bought 2 polishes from the part 2 of this collection (the other one is “Return to Nature”). I’ve lusted for Hare Polishes for a really long time but these are my first actual purchases AND not my last!
