So I wrote this thing for Young Sam as requested and I had fun writing something different from what I usually write.
I’m not too sure about it, though haha
Again, English isn’t my first language.

Binns Clock

Beneath this clock  was (is) the meeting point of many a courting couple in Edinburgh, “Meet me under the Binns Clock”  I suppose most people call it Frasers clock now Binns was taken over in 1976 by House of Fraser.

The clock is not as old as a lot of people think, it was attached to the exterior in 1962 and entertainingly the miniature pipers you see used to  circled the base at 7 and 37 minutes past the hour playing Scotland the Brave. After a deluge of complaints the volume had to be turned down. Allegedly people almost a mile away were disturbed by this regular musical interlude. Fantastic though isn’t it! ?
