I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for this show and to this fandom. The past few years I’ve gone through a lot of pretty tough shit and my world has been rapidly changing around me, but this precious fandom has always remained consistent. Yea, sometimes you guys annoy the hell out of me, but 99% of the time you make me feel like I am a part of something wonderful. All my life I’ve never had people to talk about shows like this. When I made this blog, for that reason, I never anticipated it becoming such a big part of my life. I honestly don’t know what the future is going to be like without having new episodes to look forward too. These characters, especially Lin, have truly inspired me to be a better person and have greatly influenced my life. Without them I would never be the person I am today. The past few years with you all have been an extraordinary experience, one that will always have a special place in my heart.
I feel like the world needs more fics with funny Meelo and Korrasami lol
“What are you two doing?” Korra asked, stepping into the kitchen at Air Temple Island where Asami and Meelo were sitting across from one another. They were staring intensely at one another, Asami leaning in on her elbows and Meelo practically on the table.
“Staring contest.” Asami answered without turning her eyes away.
Meelo nodded. “This beautiful woman believes she can out duel me in a battle of wits. As a man, I could not let this challenge go unaccepted!”
A small smile tugged at the corner of Asami’s mouth. “We were bored.”
“It’s dangerous challenging Asami, Meelo. She plays dirty.”
“A true hero can overcome any secret weapon his enemy thinks up!” Meelo again boasted, scooting even closer. “However, it never hurts to have a backup plan!” At that, he suddenly let out a very slow and squeaky fart that echoed through the kitchen.
Asami’s eyes went wide as saucers as Korra began fighting her own laughter.
“Oh no,” Asami whispered a moment later, her nose twitching. Her eyes began to water as the smell drifted into her nose.
“Oh spirits! Meelo! What have you been eating?” Korra cried, covering her face as she continued to laugh, watching Asami weaken with each second.
“Vegetables, vegetables and vegetables!”
Asami bit down on her lip hard. “Korra! I can’t do it!” That was when her eyes closed and her head fell onto the table. “Ugh!” She stood up in a rush and waved her hands in her face. “That’s foul play Meelo!”
Korra sauntered over and pulled Asami into a hug. “Aw, it’s okay. I still love you.”
“Beautiful woman!” Meelo stepped up onto the table and extended his hand. “Good effort.”
Asami rolled her eyes and smiled, shaking his hand. “Same to you.”
Suddenly, he farted again. Both girls staring at him in shock. “Vegetables!”
Korra scooped Asami into her arms and ran with her out of the kitchen.
