♂ Mars Energy
  • mars in the 1st: Energy goes into expression of themselves, of who they are. Often fights for themselves. They also fight for those they deem as weak, the underdogs. If athletically inclined, these people tend to also put energy into sports-related matters.
  • mars in the 2nd: Energy goes into protecting possessions and accumulating material worth. Often fights for their values, their Self and what they own, but also for those they’re attached to.
  • mars in the 3rd: Energy goes into intellectual activities, learning or any kind of activity that promotes growth of knowledge or prevents restlessness. Fights for their knowledge. May also fight for siblings/family or others from the early childhood/environment.
  • mars in the 4th: Energy goes into achieving comfort and emotional security for themselves, and putting time into their private life (such as family). Fights for themselves, but also anyone who is let into their private life. Often inclined to protect children.
  • mars in the 5th: Energy goes into creative expression of the self, of creative endeavors (such as hobbies). Fights for themselves; their identity, but also for those they are loyal to and for those who are loyal to them. Often inclined to protect children and may also put energy/time into athletic activities.

Strong healing powers if spiritually inclined, so may put time into healing others through plutonian or mars-related themes. Likely to be fiercely interested in the occult and thus put time into matters relating to it.
  • mars in the 9th: Energy is put into seeking inner truth and personal freedom. Can put time into their beliefs and discovering what it means to be alive. Jupiterian energy is very generous and charitable, so these people may also put time into helping others such as in the form of spreading understanding & knowledge. May also put energy into athletics.
  • mars in the 10th: Energy is put into their ambitions and forming + maintaining self-reliance. They’re their own motivational force, with strong independence so they’re inclined to fight for themselves first and foremost. Tradition is strong, may fight to maintain familiarity or the “rules.”

  • mars in the 12th: Energy is put into restoring themselves, as they’re apt to be reflective and are absorbent of outside influences, thus alone time is needed. Spiritually predisposed and inclined to feel compassionate of others, and so time may be spent in helping those in need and/or introspective and meditative activities to exercise the mind. This is a house ruled by a higher octave planet (Neptune), energy is being (or must be) directed to higher purposes.

Uranus signifies christ consciousness. Uranus is  the ruler of Aquarius and represents the love of humanity en masse through the human heart. Buddha, Krishna, and Christ await beyond the rings of Saturn and evaporate the ignorance and fear of Saturn (human reflex) with Uranus revelation, collective awareness, oneness, and creative potency. Uranus initiates the transportation to the oversoul. We are entering the Aquarius Age, the Age ruled by Uranus itself. The spiritual sun of Uranus contracts to open the pineal gland in all beings. It will signify a time when humans rediscover the purpose of the pineal gland.  There is no more important time in history to be active in meditation then now.

Faery Books -  Reviews pt.1

I love, love collecting pretty much any books that mention faeries. Here’s some different titles I’ve checked out before if you’re looking for any ideas of what you might like to read yourself!

  1. The Fairy Bible by Teresa Moorey: My absolute favourite book for faerie information. Advice for interacting with different faeries, folklore and traditional tales, multiple faerie spells, lots of relevant info. Writing is thorough without getting too lengthy.
  2. The Faerie Book by Samantha Gray: General information about faeries. If you’ve read a lot about fae before, this won’t be as useful, but if you’re just getting started it’s a nice overview about different types of faeries and some lore.
  3. A Complete Guide to Faeries and Magical Beings by Cassandra Eason: Lots of detailed folklore and history. If you want an in-depth guide, this is a good place to start. Each chapter also ends with an activity/meditation you can use for drawing closer to the fae. 
  4. The Complete Book of Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Baker: Even though CMB states she never saw faeries and the images are imagined, the art and poems are still pretty, and if you want to draw close to flower faeries this book could help you appreciate them and their flowers.
  5. Fairies 101 by Doreen Virtue: Not much info, but many personal stories of different people’s interactions/sightings with faeries, which are positive to read.
  6. Fairies: A Spotter’s Handbook by Alison Maloney: This I picked up in the children’s section but it surprisingly has correct info about different faeries and the things they like. Plus cute little faerie spells you can do!
  7. Good Faeries / Bad Faeries by Brian Froud: Not your Cicely Mary Baker faeries, a book of art that’s more in the traditional view of fae. Contains stories from the author’s personal experience with faeries.
  8. 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison: A YA book based on traditional faery lore. The faeries in it are of the dangerous, tricky kind, and you can feel the atmosphere of them lurking in a dusty mansion, surrounded by overgrown gardens. Story uses/mentions various ways of dealing with faeries.
  9. Faery Dance by Amy Brown: Any Amy Brown art book is good, IMO! Lovely paintings and cute poem about a girl recalling meeting faeries in her childhood.
  10. Faery Magick by Sirona Knight + Faery Folk by Edain McCoy: I was only able to read a few chapters of these (online), but they seemed to be good sources of information on attracting and warding against faeries, plus general lore.

No one knows she should be on long-term meds to prevent migraine attacks. She asks Spock to teach her Vulcan mediation techniques to battle the attacks (but doesn’t tell him why). It doesn’t go well. Bones keeps her in med bay / on bed rest in her quarters (maybe Spock can help with the treatment?). They kinda police her med intake until she’s more comfortable having to take them. THX!

You sit curled up against Spock’s side, enjoying the slight chill he’s giving off as the beginnings of what you’re sure is going to be a terrible migraine throb behind your eyes.  Your neck feels tight, the lights too bright, and the nearly-inaudible background hum of the warp core far too loud as your stomach turns: the auras are old news to you by now, you’ve been suffering from migraines since the age of fourteen, and lately they’ve been intensifying and coming nearly daily.

“Hey Spock?”  You say softly, your own voice echoing in your head and egging the headache on.

“Yes, ashayam?”  He asks, making your lips curl into a small smile at the term of endearment.

“I was wondering, can you teach me to meditate?”  You murmur.

He pauses momentarily as though considering what possible motivations you might have to want to learn the art of Vulcan meditation.

“Of course,” he replies.  “Is there any particular reason why you would like to learn?”

You shake your head, feeling the pain throb and reach out further, taking over you.  It’s all you can do to keep from throwing up on the spot as black spots dance in your vision.

“No,” you say in what you hope is a light and conversational tone.  “It might just be nice to be able to turn my mind off for a while sometimes.  Maybe it’ll help me worry less and detach myself from my work a bit.”

Be more active: yoga, meditation. Theres nothing stopping me from doing these things. Plus, it will help me get in touch with myself.

No one cares about you that much. But, there are 7 billion people (known) in the universe, and when you find that one person, cherish it. He may be here, Portland, Greece, somewhere.

Keep yourself clean.

In the end, its just you.

Love your family, they’re your foundation and where you came from.

I am me and no one else. Start to ask yourself:

What do I have to do each day to better myself.

You time matters.

Get up and do. Don’t lay back and expect it to happen before you.

Get off social media and live more.

In the end, these numbers aren’t important.

Learn to get in touch with yourself in sleep.

Stop trying so hard.

Weed is a recreational thing. Stop depending on it.

Time to grow up kiddo.

Get up and create!

You know more than anyone else that life is easier said than done. Be one to get up and do.

Really read more.

Learn to love everything. The little things. Question things.

You have a reason to be here.

Reach out to those who have helped you this far and let them know how much they really mean. It will be nice to get this out, as well as for them to know what they’ve done for you.
