Media Molecule has unveiled one of the oddest and most surreal games we’ve yet seen from this console generation: Dreams.
“We’re building a place where you can go to explore the dreams of others, and then you can create your own,” the studio said. Dreams will let you “get lost for hours journeying from the imagination of thousands of PS4 users.”
This is a super charming and fun PS Vita game (I played it a lot at E3), but I’m convinced its November 22 release will go unnoticed because that’s the same day several huge things drop: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D World, and the Xbox One.
Here’s a new trailer for the Media Molecule-developed game.
The show features theories on the future of gaming from key game developers and which are then conceptualized by different artists. The piece above is inspired by Media Molecule co-founder, David Smith.
I love that this is the big AAA game on Vita: an adorable papercraft adventure starring little box people and your thumb. I thought I’d highlight it since the smaller indies were the star of the show today.
There is some excellent music in this new Gamescom trailer!
