but it fucking trips me over that the capitol might have planned for annie and finnick to be in the quarter quell together. they knew about their relationship, and they saw a great opportunity to fucking destroy it with a show holy shit
And suddenly, it’s as if there’s no one in the world but these two, crashing through space to reach each other. They collide, enfold, lose their balance, and slam against a wall, where they stay. Clinging into one being. Indivisible. A pang of jealousy hits me. Not for either Finnick or Annie but for their certainty. No one seeing them could doubt their love.
I only ever like characters that are assholes but then become better and more likable or even who stay assholes but who also have a tragic backstory or are emotionally complex IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME WITH A NEW SHOW/MOVIE/BOOK I ENJOY
honestly im so down for ships where both individuals are kinda (hella) messed up and kinda scared as hell for feeling what they’re feeling and try to push each other out but it makes them miserable af and they have no fucking clue what’s going on
Summary: Finnick, Peeta, and Gale attend Thom and Delly’s annual New Year’s Eve bash in the hopes of sending the year out with a bang.
A/N: Modern AU Everlark/Cressidale/Odesta. Rated E for explicit language and graphic sex. With many thanks, as always, to my betas dandelion-sunset, @eala-musings, @everlylark, and @jennagill. <3333 For @etherealfinnick, who asked me for a fluffy Odesta Christmas drabble back in Dec. 2015. Here’s to giving people something they didn’t ask for a year after they didn’t ask for it. lmao. I’m so sorry, hun. Hopefully this works.
ya lit meme: (1/8) otps ➡️ finnick & annie, the hunger games trilogy
