me in wigs

🔮 [4/ 4] Miya Rurika as Morgane in 『La Légende du Roi Arthur』 (2016)

So, uh

As it turns out my copy of “Guards! Guards!” was printed entirely backwards.

I have a manga-style Discworld novel.

Normally in a case of a printing error like this I would just go and get the book exchanged, but with Discworld involved I feel the need to check just in case…is it supposed to be this way?

Because I’m trying to read it, but the backwards pages are really kind of wigging me out.

I’m at my local library and they’ve made a display for autism awareness month. This is a well meant effort, but…

As you can see, they’ve gone with the “autism speaks” motif. This is somewhat distressing for me, especially since I usually come here to de-stress. I’m going to write a letter for the library about why this is offensive to me as an autistic person, but I don’t want them to think it’s just me wigging out about it, so if you all would be so kind I’d appreciate it if you could reblog this post and add your own thoughts on autism speaks and the symbols of their organisation. I’m going to print off as many responses as I can and hand them over to the library along with the letter.

Thanks so much for your time, and I hope you all have a good autism awareness month

Tumblr mom. The fact none of them are salting anything makes me angry. It hurts my heart. I honestly want to stab someone. THATS NOT HOW YOU COOK!!! (Also I can't eat oatmeal cause texture reasons[sensory issues are fun])

I can grock that, it’s not a texture for everyone, especially if it’s the rolled oat kind. I wont touch that as a porridge. I will however eat steel cut or pinhead, the texture is just far more agreeable to me.

One of the things that really wigs me out texture wise is mushrooms, I like the taste enough, but the texture just makes me gag.
