You know, I like Shakespeare as much as the next person, but it really annoys me how anytime I watch or read Shakespeare my writing for the next day tends to become about thrice as flowery as it usually is and sometimes starts popping out into iambic pentameter.
Belief in something, especially gods, is not stagnant. What you first think is not permanent. Your beliefs change as the moon does. The way you think changes as the seasons shift. Your beliefs are real, just as your gods and just as your journey to know them and yourself.
Gradually you’re becoming the thoughts you entertain, the words you read, the company you keep, and the music you vibrate to.
It’s something that came up to me and I realized how I was genuinely so happy with the people I have in my life. I know I’ve said that earlier sometime this year but I can’t stress the importance of surrounding yourself with the people who bring out the best in you. I noticed how I didn’t really enjoy one friend’s company because her energy was just hella negative and bringing me down. And it truly does make a huge difference. Now I have a better idea of who I want to stick around and who I don’t really mind leaving
