maybe i got a bit carried away

I can’t wait for Season 6 Episode 6

Let’s do a recap here

Season 1 Episode 6 starts like this

and immediately cuts to the team with Keith making the saddest face

and he gets so impatient about Lance being in the the pod that he starts tapping the glass and annoying everyone else asking when Lance is gonna be okay

and then has this disappointed and worried look when he realises he has to keep waiting

and then Lance gets out of the pod and we get these faces

just look at that soft happy surprised keith

and then Lance flirts with Allura and happy Keith turns into grumpy jealous Keith

and in the next scene Lance is eating and Keith is literally sitting on the table watching him

and gets annoyed when Lance says he did nothing to help

and then we get these fucking devastated faces when Lance says he doesn’t remember any of what Keith did

they had a bonding moment, he cradled him in his arms

and then we have the castle landing on a moon that is literally just a big bi flag. like that is it, the moon is a bi pride moon, look at this shit

and we have Lance flirting with Nyma while Keith makes this face

and then he switches to unimpressed mode

and then we have Lance getting frazzled when Nyma suggests she go for a ride with Keith

and then rainbow on bi moon

followed immediately by keith just chilling and smiling with Rolo and definitely not being super super gay right after the pride flag was flashed up on screen

and then we have the sequence where Keith gets Lance’s lion back and this triumphant face

morphs into this soft, soft expression the second he says Lance’s name

and then they’re both just so soft (and Lance is making up the blue part of the bi flag rn)

and then this wonderful flirting

and “I thought we bonded” over a shot of another rainbow with Lance and Keith noticeably being the only Paladins off-screen

And now for Season 2 Episode 6 where Keith doesn’t speak until Lance says this

and when we’re shown him here he’s behind Lance glaring

and once attention is on him he looks super vulnerable

and the next shot we get of him he still looks vulnerable as heck but Lance has moved over to stand beside him

and then he does the thing where he explains his tagline use to Keith before Keith has to ask what he’s talking about

and then we have our token gay keith moment when keith cradles allura in his arms and has zero reaction to it even when she is flustered and blushing - I get the impression he wouldn’t devastated if she forgot about it…

and then we have Lance looking real upset when he realises Allura and Lance have gone off together (which parallels nicely with his reaction to Nyma suggesting Keith take her for a ride)

and then we have the moment when Keith is back in the red lion and he helps the others and he’s got this triumphant face

and then Lance starts talking and he goes all soft (kinda like he did when he started talking to lance in s1e6)

and then Lance gets this look and asks if Keith and Allura are an item

and Keith’s reaction is to let his expression get even softer

the softest fondest keith and he is so happy Lance just asked if he was single

and then switches back to this when Hunk starts talking instead

and okay this episode doesn’t have as much Klance as s1e6 but then we have

and holy fucking shit guys

which opens with Lance looking a little bi flag-ish again

with the blue suit and the red gun and the purple lighting on him and the gun and the everything

anyone else think maybe they kept their original suit colours just so lance could look a little more bi from now on?

and he’s got his eye on the targets

and he tells the “team” he’s gonna cover them but immediately brings his scope over to just one team member… *coughs*

and he just, y’know, follows keith for a while and watches him… instead of watching the enemy or any of his other teammates…

and then like two scenes later we have Lance’s “holy shit I’m bi” look and him flirting with Shiro (kinda)

and then we get multiple shots for the rest of this scene of Keith just glaring at Lance and looking thoroughly unimpressed (like he was when Lance flirted with Nyma… and Allura…)

and the very next scene starts with Keith still looking pissed

and standing in front of his door like this when someone knocks on it, like he’s really not up for this shit right now

and then the door opens and it’s this vulnerable looking Lance

and Keith just immediately steps aside and lets go of that “I’m gonna fight anyone who dares to talk to me right now” stance

and Lance says he wants to talk about something and Keith looks so worried and then happy that he trusts him and tries to keep the atmosphere light for poor sad looking Lance

and then Lance says it’s because he’s the leader now and Keith’s expression just drops, he eyebrows literally just droop right there and then

and he gets all dejected like he shouldn’t have gotten his hopes up about Lance actually trusting him and thinking they’re close

but then Lance looks so vulnerable and tired and sad and Keith just looks so worried and soft

and he does his best to comfort and reassure him

and when Lance goes to leave he still looks super sad and dejected and Keith calls him back in such a romantic trope kinda way

and then he’s so soft and gentle and smiling and fond and jokes with him to try to lift his spirits

and Lance clearly appreciates it and look at this soft fond look he gets in return

and in the very next scene, they need to take the lions out, only like Lance said there are six paladins and only five lions, but Keith knows that Lance thinks he’s the one who will end up with no lion so before anyone else even has a chance to say anything, Keith voluntarily gives up the black lion and opts to stay at the castle so Lance won’t have to give up Red

and then when they’re on the Galra ship we have Keith looking to Lance when he’s deciding to go off on his own, and Lance agreeing with Shiro that Keith needs to stick with the rest of them while looking very worried about Keith

and then we have the fight with Lotor’s generals where Lance is bowled over by the force of a shot and Keith is sprinting to his aid before he even hits the ground

and right after that we get Lance saving Keith’s ass when he’s caught off guard and almost gets hit right in the face

he’s got you buddy

and then keith is so busy giving the softest of smiles to lance that he forgets he’s mid-battle and lets one galra general run by him and is almost blindsided by another one

anyway this post has ended up waaaaay longer than I was expecting considering I’m only talking about klance moments in THREE EPISODES but basically the point is that every episode 6 so far has been blessed and full of klance goodness and I think that season 6 is where we’ll get some canon klance and season 6 episode 6 will probably be beautiful if these are anything to go by

this has been a uh… a PSA I guess… that was… really far too long I am so sorry

but like… if there’s this much klance in three episodes alone then like… I dunno why anyone thinks it wont be canon at this point

anonymous asked:

hEY YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DRAW ME SOME LANCE YO please 😍 idk maybe playing a video game? or him just being lance bc lance is good but ily

i got a little bit carried away……….. :D

A/N: Umm wow, okay. So this was a joke that @secretschuylersister and I had when I started watching Game of Thrones, and then I got carried away. There is so much more of this, and Taylor and I somehow ended up with enough material for like three sequels. Feedback is always appreciated, especially becuase I am a bit unser about this, tbh

“The boys are out hunting again,” You glanced up from the book in your lap to see Arya leaning against the door, arms crossed and eyebrows raised.

“And why would you be telling me this?” you laughed, closing the book that had been failing to hold your attention for the better part of an hour. “You know that I’m not allowed to go anymore.”

It was true. When you all were younger, you had been playing with the boys in the forest and managed to break your arm. Robb had had to carry you back to the castle, where he didn’t leave your side until the apothecary insisted that he would get sick if he didn’t warm up. Even after that, Robb grumbled about it for weeks after, all the while insisting that you couldn’t carry so much as a book.

“Because, you like to sit by the window and pretend to read until they get back.” You smiled to yourself, not bothering to deny what Arya was implying. She had been insisting that you were in love with her brother ever since you had come to live with them, and repeating yourself wasn’t going to do you any good. “Even though we both know that they are going to be fine, you insist on worrying.”

“Arya, I-”

“Don’t try denying it,” she laughed, backing away from you before turning on her heel and running out of the room.

You thought about staying in your quarters, after all, the window provided you a good enough view of the courtyard, but on the other hand, you did like sitting in your usual spot. So, as you made your way downstairs to your window seat you tried to convince yourself that it was for the fresh air and not because you were going to be closer when your boys got home.

You happily found your window seat unoccupied and spread your skirts out across the window seat. You knew that the boys loved going hunting, but you couldn’t find it in your heart not to worry. There were too many things that could go wrong.

Logically, you knew that nothing was going to happen to them. You had all spent years together, learning archery along with chess and reading. You busied yourself with pretending to read while simultaneously pretending not to be worried about your family.

but  once the sound of horse hooves pounding the ground echoed across the square, all of your pretenses fell away. Your book was abandoned on the bench as you made your way across the square. You sighed in relief when you saw everyone riding into site, all looking to be perfectly healthy.

It took everything in you not to abandon all pretenses and sprint to where they were riding in, but mercifully you managed to stay rooted to your bench, eyes moving over the words but failing to absorb anything.

Eventually, the sound of the horse’s hooves were gone, the sounds of the bustling people around you filled up the air, and you allowed yourself to look up from your book to see him standing there, waiting.

You both knew that you had been waiting for him since he left, but neither of you were going to admit it. Instead, you grinned and rushed to him, your book already forgotten on the bench. You reached him in a matter of seconds, your arms finding their way around his neck and his holding the small of your back.

You didn’t speak, not at first. You held each other in the square, silently thankful that he was back, and relatively unharmed. “I hate that you won’t let me go with you.” you muttered, reluctantly pulling away.

“If it was up to me, I wouldn’t go at all.” he laughed, leading his horse back to the stables.

“That’s a lie, you love hunting with your brothers.” You said, shoving him softly with your shoulder.

“I would love it more if you were there. Or, if they would just stop pestering me all of the time.” He grumbled, refusing to meet your eyes.

“You know that they mean well.” You offered, attempting to win the same argument that the two of you had been having for years.

Robb insisted that his family was plotting to set you up, and you were convinced that Robb was crazy. Well, you had always known that he was crazy, but now you had evidence to back it up. His family had more important things to do than speculate about the nature of your completely platonic relationship with the eldest Stark.

“I wish that they-”

“I know,” you laughed, cutting him off. You’d had the same conversation countless times before. “I wish that they would meddle less.” She lowered her voice, mimicking the low rumble of Robb’s tone. “I think that you are imagining things.”

Robb looked like he was going to respond, but Sansa’s voice was ringing out across the courtyard, sufficiently distracting the both of them. “Y/N!” she called again, somehow rushing across the cobblestones and still managing to look regal. Catelyn would have been so proud. “There you are! Arya said that the boys were back, so I figured that the two of you would be here.” She gave Robb a pointed glance that you somehow managed to miss. “Anyways, I need you.”

“What are you talking about?” you asked, glancing up at Robb. His smile had turned sour, and your mind was turning trying to figure out why.

“The dress that I told you about, I finished it! And I thought that you could wear it to the feast tonight!” Sansa’s smile was so bright that you didn’t have the heart to tell her no. “I need you to come and try it on, and then we need to style your hair for tonight.”

Your fingers found the end of your simple braid that you preferred to keep your hair in. Most of the time, it wasn’t worth the hassle. “I was, I mean I think that we were going to-” You floundered, attempting to find a reason to stay and talk to Robb, but you were coming up short, and Sansa was very persuasive.

“I’ll bring her back when I am done.” she said quickly, grabbing your hand and hurrying you away, not bothering to look back.

Even at Hogwarts everybody hated monday mornings, as they symbolized the end of the weekend, the return in class and especially, implied a lot of exhaustion. In fact, everybody except the 6th years, because to them Monday morning meant Defense Against the Dark Arts. Here you were, at your usual seat next to the wall on the first row. The classroom 3C had probably the biggest windows out of all the Turris Magnus, unfortunately you were too short to observe the view -everybody was- but you still tried to take a look everytime. You were on tip-toes, taking advantage of the fact that your teacher had not yet arrived to make another attempt.

« You know Y/N, I really enjoy the view you’re offering me when you stand up like this in front of me, but I think you should just sit down as our dear Professor is here. » whispered Sirius behind you. Your cheeks turner red as you did what he said, sighing in exasperation and trying to focus on the tall man standing in front of the class. Sirius knew his little seduction game made you feel a bit flustered and that was exactly why he liked doing it so much, he didn’t want you to be uncomfortable, he was only joking and you knew it. Out of the four Marauders, you spent most of your time with him or Remus, who actually introduced you to the others after meeting you at the library.

« Today I will try, and please notice that I said try, to teach you something that I know most of you have been waiting for. » said your teacher solanemly, holding his hands together behind his back. « The majority of witches and wizards are not able to produce it for it requires patience, concentration and determination. You probably guessed it already, I am talking about the Patronus charm, one of the most powerful defensive charms that exist.»

Immediatly, everybody started to whisper enthousiasticly to their neighbors, and even Lily who usually was the definition of the model student seemed hysteric. You smiled when you saw her, her dazzling hair flying in the air while she turned around towards the boys, already beginning to discuss on the shape their patronus would take. James had already managed to produce one and it was a deer just like his animagus. He could be turbulent, sometimes even insolent, but nobody could deny that he was an incredibly talented wizard just like Remus who was sitting next to him. Strangely, he stayed away from the general euphoria which spread in the class, playing almost nervously with his hands. You frowned, ready to ask him what was going on when your teacher knocked two times on the desk with his fists. The noises stopped and everybody looked at him once again.

« To produce a Patronus, it is necessary to concentrate on your most beautiful memory, and only this one. Find the memory that warms your heart the most and say clearly, wand in hand : expecto patronum. » Suddenly, a silver eagle flew from his hand and in the classroom. It was both beautiful and captivating. « This requires training, today we shall satisfy us with approaching the theoretical side of it and in the next class, I hope that you will be ready. Just know that it is difficult to obtain a corporeal patronus, and that its purpose is not to be beautiful, but to protect you from Dementors. Whether it is a rat, cat or lion, its power will be the same : the partonus is a shield, a messenger and a protector. »

He kept speaking during the whole following hour, adding that even if the animal shape the Patronus took did not define its strenght, it could mean something important for the wizard. Leaving the class everybody had only an idea in head : discover what their patronus was. The four boys, Lily and you had mutually decided to train together by the lake this afternoon. But right now you were going to eat, Sirius and James led the group speaking loudly and walking way too fast. Behind and standing by your side, Lily seemed to explain to Peter the details he had not understood. You left them silently to join Remus who walked at the back, alone, head low and dragging his feet. He raised his head when he saw you were waiting for him and turned the gentle smile you were giving him back to you. Interlacing your arm in his, you jumped at the opportunity to be alone with him to ask him what was wrong. Remus sighed, he seemed embarrassed and you strated to worry. He looked around to be sure no one was listening and then he bent a little towards you.

« I’m afraid my corporeal Patronus gives too much away, if you know what I mean. I already tried with James and it almost worked, and I swear I saw a long hairy tail before the light went off. » He whispered, biting his lip « With you guys it doesn’t matter, but if anyone else sees it… » He didn’t finish his sentence but you knew what he meant. Remus had always suffered because of his lycantropia, his parents and him had a nomadic life before he came to Hogwarts thanks to Dumbledore. Everytime someone started to be suspicious, they left and the little Remus never got to make friends. Even now that he had friends, really good ones, he was still afraid someone would found out. Taking his hand in yours, you squeezed it gently so he knew he wasn’t alone and you were here for him.

« We can practice alone another day if you want to be sure, you don’t have to do it today if you don’t want to. »

« I think that’s a good idea, thank you Y/N. »

Around 4pm, you sat in the green grass which lined the lake, between Sirius and Peter who seemed strangely concentrated into tearing away the petals of a flower one by one. You turned around towards Sirius who was already looking at you. You felt your cheeks burn a little when he did not look away which made him laugh, revealing his white teeth and his dimples.  He was a handsome young man, really, and you never knew if you just found him attracive or if it was something more. Anyway, you came back to reality when James showed up, back from his Quidditch session. A proud smile could be seen on his face as per usual, and it grew even bigger when a bunch of Gryffindor girls passing by stared at him like he was a piece of art, or a piece of meat. It always made Sirius giggle but Lily just rolled her eyes every single time.

« Did you mess your hair up on purpose again just so you can look like some Quidditch rock star ? » suggested Remus, looking quite amused.

« You’ll be authorized to criticize my hair when your furry little problem will be solved, Moony chéri. » teased James, winking before he spoke again while turning around « Let’s get started folks, why don’t we let the Lilliputian try first. »

Eveybody laughed, James flirting with Lily was the funniest thing ever, especially when he came up with these strange nicknames but you had to admit that for once it wasn’t so bad. She stood up, pointing her wand towards him which caused him to slightly move to the side.

« In fact I’m two months older than you Potter, show me some respect. » Remus, Peter and Sirius giggled while James seemed outraged, but before he could come back with anything Lily exclaimed, her wand pointing to the sky « Expecto patronum ! »

You held your breath just like the others while slowly but very clearly, from the tip of her wand, a bright silvery light started to burst before fading out. She tried again multiple times with James giving her advices and finally, a tall and gracious doe was running in the air, following the rythm of Lily’s laugh. Her green eyes were wide opened, she seemed proud and happier than ever. You all applauded, Peter even took a bow.

« It’s strange, isn’t it ? Your patronus is a doe and Potter’s one is a deer. If it isn’t a sign, I don’t know what it is. » teased Sirius, winking to Lily. Her cheeks turned bright red before she exlaimed « Simple coincidence, that won’t make me go out with you any sooner Potter. »

Finally you formed little groups, James and Lily stayed together, Sirius was with Peter and Remus with you. This way, the others didn’t pay attention to the fact that Moony wasn’t really trying to practice and he was pleased about it. You tried to remember all the informations your teacher gave you this morning, and took a deep breath. You hoped it would work but as Lily said again and again, it was a difficult spell and it was normal if you didn’t succeed on your first tries. For what felt like an hour you persisted, repeating the two little words again and again, sometimes managing to produce a little shiny light at the end of your wand. But no animal, nothing. Frustrated you sighed noisily, which caught the attention of Remus, Sirius and Peter. The two others seemed too busy arguing about who-knows-what, and anyway they did not really need to practice anymore. Seeing your disappointment, Sirius smiled softly before suggesting to the boys to train together and that he would help you. After all if that did not work so well that way, you could try.

« I can’t do it either, you know. Maybe it’s because you distract me. » he suggested, teasing you once more with a grin on his face.

« That’s not funny Sirius. » you whined, a pout on your lips.

He looked at them for a bit too long before coming back at your eyes. Finally he stood behind you, his chest pressed against your back. You were thankful he was behind, at least he couldn’t see your burning cheeks but it wasn’t finished yet because you could now feel his strong hand taking yours, holding your wand with you while the other one was placed on your hip. Your heart was racing and you were probably shaking too because he laughed soflty, speaking soflty.

« Maybe you’re not thinking about your happiest memory. Close you eyes, the first one to come to your mind is probably the good one, focus on it. »

Even if his body pressed against yours and his breath crashing on the thin skin of your neck did not help you at all, his soft and low voice was relaxing and you now thought of nothing else. You no longer heard the sound of the wind in the trees, nor the murmur of the water of the lake, you did not see your friends staring at you a little farther : it was his voice and his body near you that occupied all your mind. You closed your eyes as he had suggested, and with trembling lips you pronounced the two words « Expecto patronum. » You opened your eyes slowly, just in time to see a magnificent light spraying out, more powerful than what you had managed to do until then. It grew larger, Sirius’s hand still held yours and guided the movements of your wand.
After a few seconds, you saw it. In front of you stood a brilliant, tall and perfectly formed dog. But it was not a common dog, you had seen this one several times already and you recognized it immediately. You understood that Sirius did too when you felt his fingers release your hand smoothly and his body move back slowly. Your concentration broke and the big dog disappeared. You did not dare to turn around, both shocked and mute, because you finally knew what your patronus was. And it was him. It was Padfoot.

You stood there, sitting on your bed without knowing what to do or even what to think. After the events of the afternoon you quickly ran away, stammering that you did not feel well and that you were going to rest. But everyone had seen the same thing as you, and everyone knew that your patronus was none other than Sirius Black himself, or at least his animagus form. You tried to convince yourself that it was just a simple dog, but you knew what you saw. Maybe it didn’t mean anything at all, maybe it did. It probably did. Sirius and you had been friends for years and even though he liked to tease you all day long, it had never been more than a platonic relationship. As you kept thinking about this, images started to come to your mind. The day you met, how funny you found him, yet annoying. The first time you sat together in class, and how you spent the hour drawing stupid things on each other’s books. That time in 4th year when he punched a guy who insulted you, and definitely got a detention for it. When one of his pranks hurt you and he brought you chocolate and flowers to make it up. The time he hugged you so tight after Gryffindor won the house cup that you thought he was going to choke you. Maybe he wasn’t just a friend after all, and it took you a couple of years and a patronus to realize it. A knock on your door made you lift your head up, the person did not let you any time to answer and entered the room.

« Can I come in ? » asked the black haired boy.
« A bit too late to ask, isn’t it ? »

Sirius did not answer, he just closed the door leaving you both alone in the dorm. He sat next to you, your knees barely touching, but not a word was said. You looked at the floor for a few seconds before you saw him turning his head to you from the corner of your eye. Slowly, you looked at him too, your heart skipping a beat when you met his dark grey eyes.

« Why did you leave earlier ? You missed something, we learnt that Peter’s patronus is a mole. »
« You know why I left. » you said, smiling slightly at the end.
« You don’t have to be embarassed about it. » he shrugged « But I have to admit that I thought it would be something else. »
« Like what ? »
« A penguin. »

You scoffed, clearly not especting that answer. Sirius looked at you curiously, he didn’t seem to understand why you were chuckling but he still smiled when he heard your laugh.

« What ? They’re cute and funny, everyone likes penguins. » he smirked.
« Nope, you’re probably the only person to fancy penguins that much. »
« Well I don’t try to hide it. You shouldn’t either. »

His last words were whispered in your ear before he placed a soft kiss on your shoulder. You knew what he meant, and you couldn’t act as if the butterflies flying in your stomach weren’t here. He bent down to give you another kiss, on the cheek this time, but the weight of his body made you both fall back on the bed. You laughed as he found himself lying on top of you and for the first time since you met him, you saw a light shade of red on his cheeks. You stayed like this before he kissed your forehead, and then your nose. You smiled and he looked at your lips, and back at your eyes again. Your hands made their way to the back of his neck as he brushed your lips with his own, without ever pressing them together. Your heartbeating probably echoed throughout the entire room, or maybe it was his own. He smirked again when he saw the look full of frustration and desire you gave him, biting his lip and kissing the corner of your lips and then your cheek, before whispering in your ear again.

« I always knew you were a dog person. »

And after that he finally pressed his lips against yours, tenderly, as if you were the most precious thing in the world.

The Tea is Decaf

Dean/Cas, Sam/Eileen
Based on this text post

Castiel just barely slips out the door into the hallway and turns the knob as he closes it so the latch doesn’t make a sound. The light is always on in the hallway, and Dean always wakes up if too much of it pours into his room, so Castiel has mastered the art of slipping through the smallest space possible.

He breathes a sigh of relief once he’s in the hallway.

A small voice to his right lets out an amused laugh. He turns to see a particularly tiny woman wearing a very large plaid shirt and nothing else. Well, he supposes she could be wearing shorts under the shirt. It really is very big on her.

“You must be Castiel,” she says rather loudly, mispronouncing his name just slightly.

He walks over to her with a finger to his lips.

She puts her hand over her mouth in embarrassment before signing, I’m deaf.

Castiel mouths an “oh” before dropping his head and laughing. He then pops his head back up fast and mouths, “Are you Eileen?”

She nods eagerly and signs, You’ve heard about me?

Sam has mentioned you a few times, he signs back. He says you’re a very good hunter.

Her face lights up. You’re damn right I am. Still, that’s very sweet of him.

So, are you two…? Castiel looks back toward Sam’s room and then down at Eileen’s shirt.

Eileen’s eyes widen in embarrassment. He’s asleep. I was just going to the bathroom.

I was heading to the kitchen for a cup of tea. Would you like some?

Is there caffeine in it?

Not at 4 in the morning.

Eileen smiles and gives him a thumbs up before moving past him toward the bathroom. Castiel watches her go for a second before it hits him.

He looks down at his plain black t-shirt and too-small boxer briefs and wonders if Eileen could tell that these clothes aren’t his. And that he came out of Dean’s room instead of one of the countless other extra bedrooms in the bunker.

By the time Eileen pads into the kitchen, Castiel has two mugs ready with decaf teabags in them and he’s standing at the stove staring at the pot so he can pull it off the burner before it whistles.

It’s only a minute longer before Cas pours the water into the mugs and takes a seat across from Eileen at the kitchen table.

You’re an angel, aren’t you? Eileen asks as her tea steeps.

Castiel nods as he takes a drink.

Does that mean you don’t sleep?

Sometimes I do. I didn’t feel like it tonight.

Is Dean good in bed?

The Adventure Continues // Na Jaemin

Pt 1

summary: prince!jaemin part two where jaemin and you meet again, only this time he is engaged to be married.

words: 6063

category: angst + fluff, prince au

author note: it was nice to return to this au (also it somehow turned into my second longest scenario ever so maybe i got a bit carried away but how can you not it’s jaEMIN). as usual i miss jaemin and wish he would just show himself to us bc i miss my bestest pal. i hope he’s safe and healthy and being loved by his family.

- destinee

honestly if sm doesn’t update us on this pure snickerdoodle i will swim over to south korea mYSELF WATCH ME

Jaemin found himself sitting on the stone edge of the right side turret of his family’s castle. With his feet weighted by heavy boots, he found that he couldn’t hardly swing his feet back and forth like he pleased.

Instead, he let them hang limp, perhaps to mirror the feeling of despair that had settled in his stomach. In just two years, schedules and duties had distracted him from any kind of adventure he had dreamed of, bit more than anything, it kept him from you.

Jaemin thought about you often, and he wondered how you were doing. Your grandfather visited the kingdom every once in awhile for routine smithing and repairs. The young prince had followed him around for the first few months, asking questions about how you were doing.

Apparently, your grandmother’s condition had only worsened into something much more serious than a cold. Your grandfather informed Jaemin that you had been giving all your time to take care of her, and you wouldn’t be visiting the castle any time soon.

Months went by, and you still hadn’t visited. Then your grandmother passed away, and Jaemin felt his heart breaking along with yours. He wished to visit you and comfort you. He wanted more than anything to gather you in his arms and assure you that he was there. He wouldn’t leave your side.

They would just be empty promises, he often had to remind himself. The truth was that he was a prince unable to ignore his duties just to comfort someone. His job was much bigger, unfortunately, and he had to tend to the needs of the kingdom before he could tend to the needs of you.

Although he wanted more than anything to just throw down his metaphorical crown and run back to you.

Worries haunted him day to day. What if you had forgotten about him? What if you thought he forgot about you? What if you thought he was deliberately ignoring you?

Unfortunately, his worries hadn’t lessened in the past two years. If anything, they only came back stronger. Especially since his parents had just announced that he would be betrothed to one of the ladies who lived in the kingdom.

All of this would explain the disheartened spirit of the prince as he sat on the turret.

He held a sword in his lap, one with badly whittled initials in the hilt. His nineteen-year-old hands were more worn than his seventeen-year-old hands. The pad of his thumb was rough against the smooth hilt of the sword.

Jaemin sighed and looked out at the view before him. Somewhere out there was your small cottage, playing as a shelter for you and your grandfather.

You didn’t know what had happened earlier that day. Jaemin wasn’t sure you would, until it was officially announced by the local newsboys. He wanted to tell you himself though, and ask what he was supposed to do about it. He wanted to ask how he could marry anyone when you were the only thing on his mind.

A guard appeared on the turret. “Your Highness? Her Majesty has requested that you come spend lunch with Lady Havergaud immediately.”

Jaemin turned slightly to assure the guard, “Coming!”

You pulled the wool blanket closer under your grandfather’s chin. “Don’t worry, alright? You’ll be fine.”

He coughed, and a jolt of fear ran up your spine as you thought of him perhaps having what your grandmother died of. He had been depressed since she died two years ago, and the stress weighed heavy on his shoulders as he still did smithing work for the kingdom.

“I have an order,” he said. “I have to deliver the swords to the castle.”

“I’ve got it,” you assured him. “You taught me everything, remember? This way I can take over while you’re recovering.”

“Are you sure you can handle it?”

“I’ve got it. Trust me.” You leaned down to kiss his cheek, “Now go to sleep, and when you wake up I will be back with a warm pot of soup waiting for you.”

“Thank you, Y/n.”

The past two years hadn’t really been kind to you either. You had taken over your grandmother’s work, along with daily deliveries and lessons from the forge. Your grandfather thought it was important for you to learn the trade that brought income into the house, so that if anything were to happen to him you could step up.

Unfortunately, that time came sooner than later, so you were stuck doing day-to-day work with little rest. Your smooth hands were replaced by the rough and calloused palms of a blacksmith. Your hair was cut short, to keep from getting caught in the metal and fire of the forge you worked in. Your skin was often covered in a layer of dirt by the end of the day.

Entering the forge, you picked up the many swords given to you by the castle guards only yesterday. It was important to work on the swords quickly, so you and your grandfather often lost sleep over the knight’s swords you had committed to cleaning.

You sheathed each of the swords and placed them in a large carpetbag. Then, swinging the bag over your shoulder, you began the long walk to the castle.

Upon your arrival, your heart beat rose at the thought of who lived behind the walls. You hadn’t forgotten about the prince, although you were sure he had forgotten about you.

Because of everything that had happened, you really hadn’t had any time to visit him, even though he invited you to. You were busy with more important things than following the prince around all day. No matter how fun the latter sounded, you owed it to your grandfather to help him in any way you could.

Once you showed him the bag of swords, the castle guard opened the gate and allowed you inside. You eyes widened in bewilderment as you gazed down the well-lit stone walls. The entire castle seemed bright and cheerful, despite being made of dark gray stone. It reminded you of Jaemin’s positive vibes, and for a fleeting moment you could hear his cheerful voice in your head, convincing the castle decorators to make the interior of the castle more bright and welcoming.

“Y/n?” You turned at the familiar voice, and the sword hilts against your back all clanged together at the sudden movement.

“Mark!” you said happily. “How are you? I haven’t seen you since you moved to the castle!”

“I’m great!” he answered. “I’ll be completing my knight’s training next year. How’s your grandfather?”

“Not good,” you sighed. “He’s gotten much weaker from all the stress of Grandmother being gone. He won’t admit it, but he needs to rest for awhile.”

“He hasn’t rested since the funeral, had he?” Mark guessed.

“Works distracts him,” you supposed. “It also adds more stress to him, which is why I want him to rest. I can work the forge while he’s gone.”

“Speaking of.” Mark grinned and reached up and pulled something out of your hair. “You’ve got some ashes in your hair.”

You shrugged. “That happens when you work in a forge. Now, do you know where I deliver these swords?”

“Oh, I’ll take them. I’m on my way to the practice ground right now.”

You transferred the carpet bag onto his back, the whole time looking around.

“How in the world did you carry these?” Mark groaned under the weight of the bag.

“Practice,” you mumbled, peering down the hall.

“He’s at lunch with his fiancée,” Mark answered your unasked question.

“Fiancée?” Your voice caught on the word, as if it pained you to actually say it.

Mark looked sheepish. “I forgot they hadn’t announced it yet. Jaemin’s betrothed to a Lady.”

“Oh. Well, wish him well for me.” You forced your lips to turn up in a smile, “I’ll be going now.”

You subconsciously played with the ring on your finger as you walked into your home. “Grandfather? I’m home!”

“How’d it go?” he yelled from his room, coughing the final word.

You entered his room. “How long have you been awake?”

“Only a few minutes,” he assured you. “Tell me, did you see Jaemin?”

You hated to disappoint him, seeing the twinkle in his watery eyes. “No. I only saw Mark. Jaemin’s engaged, you know.”

“Really?” Your grandfather tutted. “I never really understood rich people and their arranged marriages. How bad is it for the prince to marry the one he loves?”

“It’s been two years, Grandfather. We’ve both grown since then and I’m not quite sure he loves me in the same innocent, childish way he used to.”

“First love is always innocent and childish. True love is the most innocent love there is, Y/n. He asks about you all the time, so there must be some feelings still there.”

You smiled bitterly. “Thanks, Grandfather. I appreciate you trying to cheer me up. Now, let me make you some soup and then I’ll go back out to the market.”

“As you wish,” he replied. “Choose to stubbornly ignore my words.”

You laughed, “I can’t get my hopes up, Grandfather. I’ve got so much more to do now than pine after a prince.”

Jaemin stiffly bowed to the Lady Havergaud. Her first name was Gwen, but Jaemin wasn’t sure he was ready to call her by that just yet.

She was dressed like every other nobleman he knew. Bright and colorful clothes, powdered makeup, and hair done up extravagantly.

“Your Highness,” she spoke with a knowing lilt in her voice. “How marvelous to meet your acquaintance.”

“It’s just Jaemin,” the prince said awkwardly. He shifted from foot to foot as he waited for someone to rescue him from this awkward encounter. When no one intervened, he supposed he would have to save himself. “Well, let’s have some lunch. Mother is probably waiting for us.”

She accepted his arm, using her gloves hand to keep a firm grip on him. “You’re not very muscular,” she spoke honestly. “I thought princes went through training to become stronger.”

“I’m strong,” Jaemin retorted.

“Of course, Darling,” the way she said it was patronizing and condescending. “When we marry, I’ll put you under a special diet and training program that will surely make your more buff and fit.”

Jaemin bit his lip to keep from biting back a sharp remark. Why did he have to be buff to run a kingdom? And, he would have her know, he was already fit.

“Be sure to eat more, okay?” She said. “I want my husband to be the envy of all the land.”

Jaemin couldn’t believe his ears. “Does my royal title mean nothing to the ladies?”

Gwen laughed loudly and slapped his arm. “You’re cute. When we’re married, let me do the talking at social events, okay?”

Jaemin gritted his teeth and only nodded. But deep inside there was a pang of regret and despair, knowing this would be his future.

Couldn’t he just run away? Couldn’t he just stop being prince for one moment and go on another adventure?

Couldn’t he go see you one last time?

Instead, he was stuck with someone who obviously only liked him for his title, and was already planning on changing him. Wonderful.

“Grandfather, you need to drink some water. If you get dehydrated, the sickness could get worse.” You struggled to get him to drink anything.

For the past few days, his fever had worsened. Now he was both throwing up and convulsing. Fear struck your heart, since he was doing everything your grandmother had done before she passed away.

If you could afford the cure for your grandfather, you could avoid the heartache. He could get better and you wouldn’t have to go through the pain of losing someone again.

Unfortunately, you couldn’t afford it. The village healer made that clear during his visit. “If you go to the castle healer, you can request the cure. However, I can guarantee it’s going to be worth an arm and a leg. I’m sorry.”

“Do they take exchanges?” you asked. “My grandmother has a watch I could trade for it.”

He nodded slowly, “It might work. I would definitely try it.”

“I will. Thank you.”

Jaemin picked up a vial of medicine and sniffed it. “What’s this?”

Jeno, the castle healer and Jaemin’s long-time friend, answered from the other side of the shop. “It’s for indigestion.”

“Hm,” Jaemin commented. He waited for his friend to turn away before he tipped the vial back and drank it’s contents.

“Jaemin, I swear—” Jeno looked at the empty vial and then the guilty grin adorning the prince’s face. “You can’t try a new medicine every time you come in here. You’re lowering my stocks.”

“It’s all natural remedies,” Jaemin said. “I’m not hurting anything. Besides, I might have indigestion.”

Jeno stopped at stared at his friend, “Jaemin, what is indigestion?”

The prince averted his eyes to the side. “Okay, well I don’t have to know what it is to suffer from it, do I?”

The bell hanging above the front door rang, signaling the arrival of a customer. Jeno excused himself and went behind the curtain, where the front of office was located. “Hello! How can I help you?”

Jaemin stayed in the back, doing what he was supposed to be doing in the first place: avoiding his fiancée and helping Jeno label his remedies.

“Hi. My village’s healer said you had a cure for me? He said he talked to you about it.”

Jaemin stopped his actions, feeling a nostalgic memory hit him instantly.

Y/n. That was your voice. It had to be.

Jaemin bit his lip as he tried to concentrate on the unnamed label in front of him. Still, he couldn’t seem to think of anything, save you and what you were doing at the castle healer’s.

Were you hurt? Was your grandfather hurt? Jaemin wasn’t sure he could face either possibility.

Stealthily, he crept towards the curtain and peaked it open ever so slightly, so that he could catch a glimpse of you.

He felt his heartbeat quicken and his thoughts go to mush as he saw you. It had been so long, and yet he hadn’t forgotten your youthful smile. It was the same even now, yet Jaemin could see a smudge of worry behind your upturned lips.

Your skin was darker, perhaps from the sun. Your hair was much shorter, and Jaemin thought that the way your messy strands ended at you shoulder looked cool and attractive. You seemed older, more mature than before, but as was he.

Jaemin felt like bursting through the curtain to give you the biggest hug. Unfortunately, he still lacked courage, and that kept him rooted in his place.

“Ah, you’re Y/n,” Jeno’s voice returned. “I’ve kept the cure safe in my pocket all day. Have you got your money?”

“Actually,” your voice shook, “can I trade something for it? I have a watch…”

Jeno accepted the watch and turned it over, this way and that.

Jaemin studied your anxious face, and he wished Jeno would just let you take the remedy free of charge.

“I can’t accept this,” Jeno said. “It isn’t real gold, so it’s worth isn’t much.”

“Oh.” You looked down, disheartened. Then, your expression grew hopeful.

Jaemin followed your gaze to your hands, where he saw on your third finger a ruby ring. It was the same promise ring he had given you just two years prior. An oath made so that the two of you would never forget each other. Jaemin’s heart lifted. Did you still think about him, too?

“I have this ring,” you said, struggling to pull it off of your finger. “It’s a real ruby.”

Jeno took the ring from your hold and nodded. “That’s perfect. Are you sure you want to give it up?”

“I’m sure,” you answered quietly. “It’s not very important.”

If a heart was made of glass, Jaemin’s would be in pieces right now. Servants would be scrambling to sweep up the shards as they fell onto the cold, hard floor.

Wasn’t important? Jaemin understood completely why you had to sell the ring, but why did you have to say it wasn’t important?

Did that mean he wasn’t important? Did you not remember him? Or worse, you did remember, you just simply didn’t care.

Jaemin retreated from the curtain and went back to his labels. Now his work was quicker, albeit quiet and solemn.

When Jeno returned, he looked at Jaemin carefully, “What’s wrong with you?”

“Is indigestion a broken heart?” Jaemin asked his healer friend. “Because I think I have it.”

Jeno stood still for a moment. “Actually, it’s gas, but I suppose a broken heart probably feels the same.”

Your finger felt empty. Throughout the next month, you were constantly aware of the ring’s absence.

Still, it was worth it, since your grandfather was returning to health rather quickly. By now, he could even visit the forge for a few hours each day.

The wedding was approaching quickly, and there were only three weeks to prepare. The queen had ordered that special rings be forged for the couple. According to Mark, Jaemin had spent weeks trying to convince his mom to let your grandfather forge his rings. Apparently he was still Jaemin’s number one influencer.

Your grandfather spend as many hours as he could, molding and forging rings only to realize he wished for a different design and start all over.

“It doesn’t feel right,” he would always say to you. “Of all the things Jaemin has told me, I have no idea why he would go through with this marriage.”

You shrugged in the middle of shoveling more coals into the fire. “Perhaps he likes her.”

“Yeah, right,” your grandfather snorted. “Remember last week, when Jaemin invited me for tea?”

You bit your lip. Jaemin had somehow found out about your grandfather’s recovery, so to celebrate he asked him to come for tea with his fiancée. Your grandfather was never allowed in the castle, however, because Jaemin’s fiancée wouldn’t let him come in. She said he was too dirty, with his fingertips blackened and his shirt carrying the sweat of a hardworking old man.

You heard from Mark that when Jaemin found out, he was furious, and even tried to visit the forge and apologize. You also heard that he was stopped, once again, by his controlling fiancée.

Still, these accounts were coming from two people who wanted you and Jaemin together. For all you knew, they could be lying, and she could be the nicest person you’ve never had the chance of meeting.

Until today.

Your grandfather had just gone back to the house to clean up and sleep for the night, but you stayed up, busy carving flower designs into some recently discarded rings.

“Hello!” someone shouted.

“We’re closed!” you replied, not looking up from your work. “Please come back tomorrow morning!”

You turned to see a woman coming in anyway, a familiar object in her hand. “Actually,” she spoke with a sort of haughtiness about her. “I’m the future princess so I think I can come in.”

“No,” you replied respectfully. “I have to get to sleep soon. Please come back in the morning, Your-Future-Highness.”

You bowed slightly, signaling her to leave the forge. Instead of respectfully leaving, she came closer. “My husband’s sword needs to be fixed. He said this part was getting old and he wants a new handle.”

“Hilt,” you corrected, feeling peeved at the fact that she called Jaemin her husband. They weren’t married yet.

“Whatever. Just have it polished and ready by our wedding day. I don’t want to see those ugly marks on it, alright?” With this, she dropped a sack of gold onto the stool behind you.

“Okay,” you agreed, not really connecting the pieces quite yet.

Then, as soon as she left and you glimpsed down at the sword, it became clear. It was Jaemin’s sword that he had made when he lived here. The hilt was the same, carved with his initials and yours. More things had been carved through the past years, like a small rose in the corner, and something similar to a heart.

Your memory stirred as you looked at the sword. Your heart was both elated and discouraged.

Did Jaemin really wish to erase this part of his life?

You set the sword aside, not having the strength to do it that night.

“Hey, where were you last night?” Jaemin asked the next morning on his way to the practice field. He had some free time that he wanted to spend with Mark, who had been teaching him the latest knight techniques.

His fiancée usually visited him every night to complain about something or other, and although Jaemin couldn’t say he missed it, it did make him curious as to why she hadn’t visited him the night before.

“I took your sword to that forge you always talk about and asked the person there to fix the handle.”

“Hilt,” he corrected.

Gwen rolled her eyes, “They said that same thing and it’s quite annoying. I swear I’m going to get wrinkles from all the stress you cause me. Anyway, I thought you would appreciate having those horrid marks removed from the handle. It would make it prettier on our wedding day.”

“WHAT?” Jaemin shouted, “You asked her to remove them?! Those marks are my memories! They’re the best memories I have! Why would you do something like that without asking me?”

Gwen shrugged, “I didn’t think it matter. Now I see it does. Sorry.”

Her apology didn’t sound the least bit sincere, and it took every fiber of Jaemin’s being to keep from saying something he shouldn’t have. Instead, he used his anger to fuel him as he ran down to your village in the hopes of getting his sword back, completely intact.

You bit your thumb nail and stared at the sword as if it were going to move. How could you restructure a hilt when the past one had so many memories? Why would you want to?

Your grandfather was still in bed, since it was the early crack of dawn. The only reason you were up was because you couldn’t sleep, and the past night was filled with tossing and turning and thinking about the prince.

You needed to stop. It had been two years. He hadn’t come back. You hadn’t gone to visit. It was time to forget Jaemin once and for all.

You picked up the sword, ready to completely redo the hilt, until a loud banging on the door caught your attention.

“Wait!” the outside voice called, “Let me in!”

You hurried to open the door, wondering who could be so distraught at such an early hour. Your breath caught in your throat as you beheld the prince, in the flesh, standing in front of you.

Jaemin was flustered, leaning with his palms against his knees as he inhaled long intakes of breath. “My sword,” he wheezed. “Don’t ruin it.”

“Jaemin…” the sword dropped to the ground as you stared at him. He was taller, yet just as you remembered him before with that same mischievous glint in his eyes.

When he finally caught his breath and straightened up, you engulfed him in a tight hug.

“Woah!” he laughed before wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you off the ground momentarily. “I thought I wasn’t important.”

Although his voice was teasing, his eyes held a certain fear in them that you couldn’t place. You let go of his neck, allowing your hands to slid towards his chest as you looked into his eyes. “Who told you that?”

“You did!” he said, his grip on your waist slacking only slightly. “When you gave the ring to Jeno.”

You slapped the prince’s chest, “Of course it was unimportant at the time! I needed medicine. I never said you weren’t important, though. Why would you think that?”

“I’ve been a horrible friend,” Jaemin replied quickly, “I haven’t visisted you in two years. Even when your grandmother died, I did nothing. I could’ve visited you or sent some money or anything but I didn’t.”

You gave him a soft smile. Everything felt better suddenly, and you wondered how you and Jaemin could return to easy conversation after having not seen each other for two years. It felt as if it had only been a few days, and the wait was worth it. “I know you’ve been busy,” you comforted him. “You’ve got a lot of stuff to do at the castle.”

Jaemin sighed and pulled you close to him again, burying his head into the crook of your neck. “What do I do?” he mumbled, tickling your sensitive skin. “I don’t want to marry her.”

“Why not?” you asked sardonically. “She’s an absolute peach.”

Jaemin laughed against your neck, and you felt goosebumps hearing your favorite sound for the first time since he left. “Isn’t she?”

“Come in,” you said, letting go of him and leading him away from the forge. “Grandfather will be awake soon and I know he’d want to see you.”

The two of you walked towards the cottage, shoulders bumping occasionally.

“We should go on another adventure while I’m here,” Jaemin said. “Maybe we could go back to the cave and I can see those fish again?”

He hadn’t changed at all, and you felt comforted by that fact. For there you were, more quiet and subdued after all that had happened. After you had to take the title as head of the house. You wondered if that bothered Jaemin: him coming back to a different you.

“I’ll take you to the cave after breakfast,” you assured him, smiling when he pumped his fist victoriously.

Inside of the cottage, Jaemin entered the kitchen before you could close the door behind you.

“It’s the same!” he cheered. “Nothing has changed!”

You leaned against the doorway of the kitchen and chuckled at his childlike excitement. “Grandfather thought changing it would be an insult to Grandmother’s memory.”

Jaemin suddenly frowned. “I should’ve visited her.”

“She wouldn’t have wanted you to,” you spoke honestly. “She didn’t want the prince to see her in such a state. She wanted you to see her when she was still beautiful.”

Jaemin smiled bitterly, “She was always beautiful.”

You walked forward and hugged him from the back, pressing your forehead in between his shoulder blades. “Don’t think about it too much, Jaemin.”

“Alright,” he whispered, placing his hands over yours.

“Now let’s make breakfast before Grandfather wakes up,” you said, hoping to lighten the mood.

“My babies! I’ve come home!” Jaemin said, dropping his bag and dramatically running over to the dark lake.

You dropped your bag as well. The two of you decided it would be fun to go camping inside of the cave, mostly because Jaemin had a scary story he insisted could only be told during the witching hour. Apparently, no one in the castle had wanted to hear it, so you were his last hope.

Jaemin dipped his hand into the water, giggling to himself as the fish swam by and tickled his skin.

You found yourself staring at him, and your mind felt like a puddle of goo as you thought about how great he was. How much you wished he wasn’t getting married, so that to two of you could have adventures like this forever.

He made you feel young again: youthful and free to do nothing but play around with the hidden wonders of the world. You were quite sure you loved the boy.

Jaemin looked up at you, and your heart stopped for a moment as you wondered if you had spoke your thoughts aloud. “Y/n, come see them!”

Sighing in relief that your secret hadn’t been found out, you happily went to sit beside Jaemin and watch his precious fish swim around.

“I really like them,” Jaemin spoke into the silence of the cave. “Watching them swim around makes me feel like I did two years ago, when everything was okay.”

“Tell me about it,” you mumbled.

Jaemin smiled at you, “We sound like old adults.”

“I know,” you replied, “It’s tragic.”

Jaemin elbowed you lightly, “You’re tragic. I’m awesome.”

“Shut up.”

Jaemin leaned forward and placed his hand in the water again, and you caught the long white scare lining his palm. “It scarred.”

“What? Oh, yeah.” Jaemin pulled out his hand and held it towards you, palm facing upwards. “I was a bit careless back then, wasn’t I?”

“Like you aren’t now,” you countered. You traced the scar carefully with your finger.

Jaemin suddenly grabbed your hands, “They’re rougher than they used to be.”

You squirmed at his words, “Sorry they aren’t dainty enough for you.”

“No!” Jaemin said suddenly. “I was just observing. There’s nothing wrong with rough hands. It means you’ve worked hard.” Then he pulled your hand to his mouth and kissed your knuckles. “Y/n?”

“W-What?” you stuttered, feeling warm under his gaze.

“Can we hold hands like we used to?”

“I don’t think we ever held hands, Jaemin,” you replied quickly. In fact, you knew it. You and Jaemin hadn’t done anything of that sort when he came to live with you. Except maybe all those times he clung to you when he was bored. That didn’t count though, did it?

“Yeah, we did,” he argued. “When you helped me feed the rabbit.”

“That’s hardly hand holding.” You laughed at him. “You were afraid and I helped you feed the rabbit. We weren’t holding hands.”

Jaemin rolled his eyes dramatically, “Can I just hold your hand? Whether we did it in the past or not?”

“What about your fiancée?” you asked nervously.

Jaemin linked your fingers with his own and smiled at the finished product. “I don’t want to get married to her, so I won’t.”

“How are you gonna get out of it?”

“I have no idea.”

Jaemin looked at you with the scariest glare he could muster as he held a lit torch under his chin. In reality, he looked like a constipated dragon.

You tried to contain your giggles as Jaemin continued his story, “So she was never seen again and no one remembered her. The only one who did was that lone fisherman, who could still hear her cries throughout the dock.”

You slapped your hand over your mouth, yet you couldn’t stop the laughter from spilling out of your mouth. “That wasn’t scary at all!”

Jaemin pouted from above the flame, “Really? I worked hard on that one.”

“How hard did you work on it?” you giggled, falling onto your back as you couldn’t stop laughing.

Jaemin frowned and crawled over to you, peering down at your face. “I spent a whole three weeks coming up with that story.”

You smiled up at Jaemin from your spot on the floor, “You’re a dork.”

Jaemin returned your smile and plopped down, rolling over to lay beside you on the ground. “You love me.”

You stayed quiet. Then, perhaps because it was dark and you couldn’t see his face in case he rejected you, you answered, “Yeah. I do.”

Hesitantly, you turned your head to the side to see Jaemin already looking at you in the low light. His smile had grown, and he was quiet as he stared at you. “Really?”

“I mean of course,” you shrugged. “It’s not like we don’t love each other, right?”

Jaemin’s smile fell and he looked up at the cave ceiling. “If…” He exhaled softly and closed his eyes before continuing, “If I can’t get this engagement to end, please don’t think I don’t love you back. Please don’t think you haven’t been the first thing on my mind since I left. Please know that I love you so much and I would love nothing more than to go on a different adventure with you every day, even if that adventure was just delivering swords for your grandfather. If I can’t get this to end, please don’t think my feelings for you aren’t real.”

“I won’t. I promise,” you whispered, reaching for Jaemin’s hand and giving it a squeeze.

It was the night before the wedding. You knew, because the entire village was covered in flowers and festive wreaths for the prince. Funnily enough, none of them mentioned the future princess.

You felt numb the whole night, pondering what it would feel like when the newsboys would run down the road and announce that the prince was officially married. Your heart felt heavy as you continued with your chores.

Your grandfather left to go to the wedding, having to deliver the rings and wishing to visit Jaemin beforehand. He pushed you to come along with him, but you couldn’t bring yourself to go. There was no way you could see him again, knowing he would be married the next day. There was no way you could watch Jaemin vow to love someone else for the rest of his life. There was no way you could watch the mischievous light in his eyes fade to misery at the distant future. There was no way you could watch him kiss someone else.

Instead, you stayed home and continued your work before washing up and heading to bed.

Unfortunately, you couldn’t sleep, so you wrapped a large blanket around your shoulders and climbed up to the roof.

It was silent, as the majority of your village had turned in for the night. Only the distant sounds of neighbors still up, chatting in low voices, could be heard.

You could see the castle from your perch, and you wondered if Jaemin was there now, sleeping the night away before his wedding. The night before his entire life would change, and yours with it.

You couldn’t hold it against him. It was his duty to get married to someone before he took over as a king. Still, it pulled on your heartstrings that he was marrying someone he didn’t love, and someone who didn’t love him in return. Sure, you were going to be lonely with out him, but he was going to live the rest of his life with someone he didn’t love. That had to be the worst fate of all.

You shivered at the cold wind and pulled your blanket closer to your body.

“I found you again!”

You jumped at the voice and turned around to see Jaemin climbing up to the roof, a cheeky grin on his face. “What are you doing?” you hissed. “Your wedding is tomorrow.”

Jaemin shook his head, “Only if she says yes.”

You furrowed your eyebrows, confused, until Jaemin threw a familiar velvet box at you. You caught it and opened it to reveal the ring you had recently traded. The ring you loved. The ring that symbolized your promise to never forget Jaemin.

“If you agree, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. We can have our own adventures every day, and your grandfather can even move to the castle so we can be near him. I understand if you don’t want to become a princess, but unfortunately that’s the only life I can offer you.” Jaemin looked at you with pleading eyes, “Please say you’ll marry me.”

You pulled the ring out of the box and pushed it onto your finger. “Jaemin, what about your fiancée?”

“She was just as happy to end it as I was. Mother said I should’ve told her sooner that I was already in love with someone. She said I proved my sincerity to her, and any girl who helped me do that was deserving of the princess title.”

You felt your cheeks heat up at the compliment. “It wasn’t all me. You’ve always been sincere in your feelings.”

“Maybe,” Jaemin agreed, “but you help me express them. Now please answer my question.”

“Oh,” you grinned. “Of course I’ll marry you. I thought that was obvious.”

“Yay!” Jaemin tackled you in a hug, constricting you as you were still cocooned in your blanket. “We’re going to literally be best friends forever.”

You giggled, “I can’t wait.”

~the end~

i kinda got carried away after this post about a cursed timeline where aa is set in england so here’s the crown prosecution service (edgeworth is a QC because of course he would be)

obvs the court dress isn’t 100% accurate because i wanted to keep some bits of their original outfits to make it less boring. plus also no one really knows how to wear a wig correctly except for maybe this guy:

So, we know that Keith had his mullet back at the Garrison bc that’s how Lance recognizes him, but I like to hc that Keith had short hair and the mullet is the product of, ya know, living in the desert for a year.

Imagine. Your crush disappears into the desert only to suddenly reappear before you months later, long(er) hair blowing in the wind. Maybe a bit of a tan too.

I'm not sure do you want to write it, because it's a little bit connected with wet dreams of RFA and Saeran's fic when he spies on MC's phone call, but maybe you want to write a request where RFA+V+Saeran and MC not together, but are very close, and s\o overhears how MC tells her friend about a certain nsfw fantasy about them and try to fulfill it. Btw, I love your works! You are amazing!

Wet dreams again! And with this one, the “wet dreams” trilogy is now complete! I did this one as mini-fics to celebrate, LOL (not really, I just got carried away as usual)

RFA + Saeran and V overhearing MC talking about her wet dreams with them (NSFW-ish?)

“Ah, MC! Come on, you don’t have to blush so much! You know you’re probably not the only girl in this country that had wet dreams about Zen, right?”

“I know… but it’s different.  I’m not just his fan, I’m his friend. And he was a fucking butler, for fuck’s sake!”

“So what? You have a thing for butlers. Big news: we all do after watching Kuroshitsuji.”

“Yeah, and my mind keeps playing a hentai version of it. With Zen! And… less wet, you know how hentais are all wet and the censored version shows a girl being fucked by a bunch of pixels? Yeah… my dream was nothing like that.”

“Oh… no pixels? So how… how did it look?”

“Perfect… just like him…” you sigh and chug the rest of your beer, watching as she laughs and says you’re a dirty little bitch, and that’s why she loves you.

Zen feels… oddly embarrassed. His fans have no chill in talking how handsome and sexy he is, and how he is always in their dreams, but you’re right, you’re not just a fan, you’re his friend. And though you never really hid you think he’s attractive, you never told him you think he’s perfect, that his… dick… is perfect! Oh my… so much information to deal! He was just trying to find you two in this after party with some of his colleague actors, and here are the things he found out: hentais are all wet, girl talk is kinda funny, girl talk makes him feel oddly shy when he happens to be the subject of it, you think he’s perfect. He and his perfect dick serving you in your dreams… oh, dreams are such powerful happenings, aren’t they? He has psychic dreams once in a while… what about you?

“Hey, I finally found you two, ladies. Ready to go home?” he tries to act casually, but he’s seeing you on a whole different light.

“Yeah, let’s go. It’s kinda late.” Your friend says, getting up of her chair. “Oh, but let me just fangirl a little over that guy who played salesman #2. I’ll… meet you guys outside.” She doesn’t even give you time to say anything and just vanish out of there.

“Enjoying the party, babe?” oh… even calling you ‘babe’ feels differently now. What did he call you in your dream? Madam?

“Yeah, it’s been great, Zen! Thanks for letting us crash into this party, the musical was… fabulous, you’re so talented.”

“Thanks. Here, let me help you with your coat.”

“Oh, no need to, I’m fine.”

“Come on, it’s a pleasure to service you.” Your eyes widen as you look away. Oh… he had no idea his little tease would make him feel as aroused as you. “Anything else I can do for you?”

“N-no, I’m fine. Let’s get my friend before she ‘accidentally trips and falls into some of your colleagues arms.” He chuckles at your attempt of brushing it out whatever wild thoughts your mind is going through. What wouldn’t he give to hear them all?

You let your friend at her place and then he walks you to yours. Somehow you managed to go back to your usual, funny, bubbly self. You two stop at the door of your building.

“Thanks for the night, Zen.”

“My pleasure.” He bows before you, smirking as he sees you pressing your legs against each other. “So,  what about joining me tomorrow night to help me practice my lines? I think you’ll really like this new project.”

“Sure! I would love to! Who will you play?”

“A butler.” He says bluntly, trying not to laugh at your eyes blinking non-stop and your half ajar mouth, your reaction is…ugh, perfect. “Good night, babe. Have sweet dreams.”

Your answer comes out almost in a whisper. And as he starts walking, hearing you go inside your building, he sighs in amusement. Your friend loves you because you’re a ‘dirty little bitch’ and he loves you because… wait! He loves you?

“You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking such impure thoughts about such a cinnamon roll, MC!”

“Don’t you think I don’t know that? Ugh… he’s really cute, isn’t it?” you sigh “But you know what’s cuter? His balls that I shamelessly sucked in that dream!” you two laugh mischievously.

“Well, you’re so altruistic even in your fantasies, aren’t you? Giving blowjobs instead of getting eaten, I mean…”

“Well, you’ve met him, haven’t you? He’s so shy, I think a blowjob would really make him loosen up. He was definitely not shy in my dream, you know?”

“Bet he whined like a puppy.”

“Girl, no! He was groaning, and trust me… it was hot!”

Shit shit shit! Yoosung should have stopped listening to this when he heard “balls”. And yet, he kept standing there behind the bathroom door as you and your friend walked to the hallway of the house she was throwing a little get together. He felt so special about her inviting him, since he was one of your closest friends by now. Well, as close as you two are now, it will never be close enough like you and her talking about such… intimate things like you’re discussing this new color of nail polish or… other stuff women talk about that he doesn’t really understand. And though he appreciates it the hint of concern and desire of him loosening up, your methods are… gahhhh! His face is all hot! Hot… like his groans in your dream? No! What is he thinking? This is so naughty, Yoosung!

“Hey, MC…” he does his best to not show you his embarrassment as he goes to you a little later, at least not too much embarrassment.

“Are you okay? You look so red… you don’t have a fever, do you?” your friend asks, trying to reach his forehead, which makes him even redder. “Oh, poor thing!  Hey, there’s a thermometer in the first aid kit in the kitchen, why don’t you pick it? MC will help you.” He looks at you, and… well, it would be impossible for you to get more flustered as him, but… you looked pretty embarrassed… which made him feel a little relieved and very aroused.

“Sorry for the trouble, MC. I… don’t really wanna feel like a burden to you or your friend.”

“Nonsense! If you’re sick, I need to help you and make sure you’re feeling ok.” Helping him… making him feel ok… gahhh! How come everything you say takes him immediately to the conversation he overheard?

“See? No fever! I told you I was fine, no need to worry! Now let’s go back to the party!” he says, yes, he’ll definitely shake these naughty thoughts if it isn’t just the two of you.

“Are you sure? Or we can just go, you know?”

“Ah, now that I was starting to loosen up?” oops! It slips from his mouth before he even realizes. But your shy smile is so worthy… “I mean… I mean… I…”

“You’re right. Let’s go.” You turn your back on him. So he won’t see you blushing, maybe?

And he did loosen up, making you and your friend really delighted. At the end, people were sad for seeing you two calling it a night and he saying goodbye to walk you home.

“Did you have fun, Yoosung?” you ask when you two stop by the door of your building.

“Yes! I gotta say, your friends are… really handful at first, but then I got more comfortable and had so much fun. Thanks for the night, MC!”

“Oh, I should thank you for joining me, I know they can be really loud and… hard to deal if you’re shy and…”

“Oh, you should know that I’m not really that shy…” well, he is. But he needed seeing your cute flustered smile at least one more time before he leaves.

So worth it! Loosening up, getting less shy, making you smile… he loves how much he’s changing because of you, he loves… you?

“Never would’ve took you as a boob girl, MC! I was so sure you were more the ass type…”

“Girl, I thought I was, but… her breasts are just… beautiful. I feel like a horny dude by thinking so much of them to the point of dreaming about them, but… they are beautiful, especially from the angle I was seeing in that dream, you know?”

“Well, they are pretty big, I’m almost jealous…”

“I wish I was jealous, all I can think about is how warm and smooth it must be…just like her whole skin… and I seriously need to stop talking like a creepy guy, don’t I?”

“Well, you lose a little bit of prudence when you get a crush that big…”

“Ugh, my crush is bigger… bigger than her boobs…” you mutter shyly as your friend tells you’re fucking hopeless.

Well, this is embarrassing, to say the least. She knew you were slightly different when you hang with your best friend, but this is on a whole another level, she wonders if your friendship with her will ever get to the point of sharing such personal thoughts. Oh… she’s not sure if she’ll ever feel like talking about her erotic dreams… have she ever even had one? No, that one with Zen wasn’t really erotic, oh, but she remembers waking up one night really sweaty… she doesn’t recall much, but it was a dream about you… Oh… is talking about wet dreams a normal thing between girlfriends? How will she ever talk about them with her closest friends if the dream was about the closest friend? Her closest friend has been dreaming about her, about her… boobs. Do they really look that great?

“Hi! I decided to touch up my makeup too.” She says stepping to the bathroom of the bar that you insisted on bringing your two best friends.

“Oh, great! Here, you can borrow my lipstick. This bitch here will tell you to watch out for herpes, but don’t mind her, she’s just jealous of my pursing lips.” You roll your eyes and laugh, making them both chuckle. “I should get going, somebody needs to watch our table, see ya girls in a minute.” She walks out of there humming loudly.

“I’m sorry, she’s just… I hope she’s not making you embarrassed or anything…” oh, nothing is more embarrassing than you liking her boobs. What do you like them beside their size?

“It’s okay, MC. I’m having lots of fun!”

“Oh, I know the name of this fun, it’s marguerita, right?” you two laugh as look at the mirror, adjusting yourselves. “Ugh, I’m so tipsy I think I’ll smudge this lipstick before I even put it on.”

“Oh, let me help you.” She promptly goes to you, holding your shoulders for you to face her. So close… like you were in that dream of hers. Yes, her boobs are pretty big, aren’t they? You’re not that close and they are almost touching yours, yep, you noticed that too as you quickly glanced down and cleared your throat, facing her again.

“You know what? It’s… it’s fine. I mean, I’ll drink more, so I don’t really need lipstick.” You say, backing away. “Let’s go back before that bitch drinks all the beer!”

And it was so much fun! It was so good to be around other women like that, it feels even more special because she never had that before. It’s new, and it’s unpredictable and it makes her feel like… well, like a woman again. She couldn’t stop feeling this even when you called it a night and offered to walk her to her place.

“Are you sure you’re not the one who needs help to get home, MC?” she asks when you two arrive at her place.

“Yeah, I’m okay! All that fun I drank it’s no match for me!” is she a match for you? Wait, what? “Anyway, I should get going, I can’t wait to get home, these shoes are killing me, and don’t even get me started in this bra!”

“Yeah… I can’t wait to take mine off too…” she feels her face heating up as she notices you basically staring at her cleavage.  But her embarrassment turns into amusement as she watches you shaking your head after saying goodbye. Ohoho…if you could, you would definitely slap yourself right now, wouldn’t you?

She looks to her boobs when she goes inside her place, chuckling. How could you make her feel so good about this part of her body that made her feel so self-conscious for so long? Yeah, you make her feel like a woman, and you know what? Your breasts aren’t bad either… just another great part of you that she… loves?

“Aren’t you a little old for school fantasies, girl?”

“Well, he could be a professor in university. It’s not like it would be less hot anyway…”

“Were you wearing a pleated skirt and piggytails?”

“Girl, no! Jumin is a classy man, I would never have a wet dream about him that could be a video you can see on Redtube!”

“Oh, so you’re saying he spanked you with a rule, then fucked you over a desk and called you ‘his naughty girl’, but with class?”

“Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. He does everything elegantly… even, you know, cumming on my breasts.” You both chuckle.

Well, uhm… this wasn’t a very elegant conversation, and it definitely wasn’t elegant of him to keep listening it, even if he was the topic. Well, not him per say, a… professor version of him? How did you even come up with that? He never even considered a career in the teaching field… your imagination really is… quite something. How would this work? You were a student of his? Oh, but that would be really unprofessional… he asking you to meet him after class, he needed to go over your last essay and how disappointed he was because he knew you have so much potential and can do such a better job. And you would tell him you’re really sorry, because his opinion really matters to you and you’ll do anything to prove you’re worth of his trust. Anything?

“Oh, there you are!” he says, walking into the balcony you and your friend were talking in this party at his dad’s house. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

“Of course not! Actually, I… I feel like I’m interrupting something, I should… taste a little caviar. You two… get along, will you?” you roll your eyes and he smiles softly. She’s so unsubtle even he can see what she’s trying to do.

“How can you interrupt something you’ve been doing from the beginning? I’m sorry, Jumin, I have no idea what I was thinking when I told she could come over.”

“She is funny, and she is your friend. Any friend of yours is mine too, MC. How long have you been friends, again?”

“Oh, we went to the same college.”  Oh… more school talk?

“I would love to have met you in college, it would have been priceless.” Oh, you’re looking so intently at him… what if he teases you a little? “Even though you would probably avoid me, most colleagues would mistake me as a professor.”

“I… don’t think I would avoid you.” Oh… not the reaction he was expecting, to be honest.

“Well, I’m pleased to know that. Let’s go back to the party, shall we?” yeah, he got  a little frustrated you didn’t really get flustered. He’s always amused by your flustered face…

He kept thinking about this even after Driver Kim let your friend at her place and now that you two were alone in his car. Actually, he would like to know what you were thinking. It almost sounded like you were trying to tease him as well back then. Did he… did he get flustered? Probably not, if he did, you would giggle and tell him he is cute, like you usually do. Oh yeah, just remembering makes him feel… well, flustered.

“Well, this is where I stay. Thanks for inviting me.”

“Don’t mention it. The pleasure was all mine. Did you have fun?”

“I did! I was so worried because everything was so fancy and… elegant, but I…”

“You’ll get used to elegance, it would be a privilege to teach you all about elegance from now on, if you allow me to be your teacher, of course.” There it is… your lovely blushing face.

You say a quick goodbye before getting off the car and almost running to your house. Ahh, you never fail to amuse him, do you? He just loves you so much and… oh…

“So, just to make it clear, he would be the one to crossdress, or did you crossdress as a guy too?”

“No, he was the one crossdressing. And let me tell you, what a hot girl/boy he is. I was almost sexually confused.”

“Yeah, a guy wearing your panties and a cat maid outfit while he fucks you? That can be confusing.”

“You say that because you don’t know how hot he looks in a dress. He looks… he looks even better than us…”

“Nah, you’re just blinded by your crush, I suppose.”

“Yeah… and very sexually confused.” You two laugh and keep talking about guys wearing panties and how hot this is, you kinky little perverts.

Saeyoung accidentally listened to that phone call as he was checking a little bug in your phone, as you requested him to do so. Of course he didn’t need to listen to your private conversations, but he listened his name, crush, maid outfit and wet dream and… well, he couldn’t stop it.  It was wrong, but why did it feel so right? Like most of his feelings for you, to be honest… oh, if you only knew that there was nothing to feel embarrassed, because… well, he had even filthier dreams with you… no, but he could never tell you that, he’s not a girlfriend with who you can open up to and tell your deepest fantasies and desires. What if he disguised as a woman and tried to get friends with you? Oh… but if you’re so kinky for his crossdressing, you two would end up more than friends, huh? Lol

He called you because… well, just because. And watched as you jumped when you saw his name on the screen of your phone. “I’ll call you later, girl.”

“Oh… your little girlfriend is on the other line, right? Don’t worry, I won’t be a third wheel. Talk to you later!”

“Hey, Saeyoung, what’s up?” Oh, after that conversation? There is something definitely up with him…

“Just calling to let you know I’m still trying to fix the bug on your phone remotely, but if it gets too tough, I’ll probably need to go to your place and fix it personally.”

“My place? Ugh… let me know so I can clean it up before, it’s a mess!”

“Or I can come over and clean for you? Like a good maid?” he listens to you gulping lightly. Ohoho he got you good, huh? Well, he would like to get you, you know?

And much to your surprise, he did show up at your place. He considered showing up as a maid, but… maybe he wouldn’t be able to resist to your lustful eyes when you would spot him standing at the door. So… nah, he would be the only one struggling to resist you, he was pretty good at it.

“Hello, miss. Did you request my services?”

“I did. But no uniform? Ugh… such an unprofessional maid!”

“Oh please, forgive me, madam. Shall I change right away?” he says taking off his hoodie and making a motion to his bag so you’ll think he actually brought the costume.

“Or maybe you can work with no clothes on?” you smirk, and he immediately stops, blushing. You look at him and start laughing. “Come in, stupid, I’ll make some popcorn for us.”

And as he joins you in the couch to eat that popcorn and find something for you to watch, he can’t help feeling… happy. Yeah, sexual fantasies are fun, but his innocent fantasies about you are so much better, and he’s glad to make this one come true. He would love to make all of them come true, because he… he loves you.

“… and I mean, I know it’s bad, but I… I can’t keep an innocent vision about him getting ice cream after that dream, you know?”

“What flavor was the ice cream?”

“I… I don’t know, it was pink, I… seriously? I just told you about how I dreamed about Saeran licking ice cream off my whole body, and you’re concerned about the flavor? What the fuck?”

“Hahaha, I’m just messing with you. Don’t get so upset, I bet you don’t get mad when he messes with you like that.”

“He never messes with me… unfortunately.”

“Awww, someone is feeling a little M, huh?”

M? What does that mean? Oh… his brother calls Yoosung an M sometimes, could it be…? Masochist? SHIT! What’s wrong with you girls? How can you talk about stuff like that so shamelessly? He feels like a nerve-wracking talking over the most trivial stuff with you, and here you are vividly describing to your equally crazy friend how he told you how yummy you are and how he would eat you all night, even when there was no ice cream anymore. Girls are insane! But still, it’s fun to see you so comfortable, he wishes you would get this comfortable around him and not being so worried about hurting his feelings. Okay, but don’t get too comfortable… not like in your weird dream!

“Hey!” he says, walking back from the bathroom and joining you two in the cafeteria’s table you invited him. He probably wouldn’t have accepted if he knew you had another guest, ugh… it’s still weird being around your crazy friends…

“Hi! So uhm…  I’m sorry if my presence here makes you uncomfortable, honey. MC said she was just very excited to introduce you to me, but I… I should get going. No hard feelings, okay? Take your time and don’t worry.” Ah great! Now he feels like a prick.

“Did I do something wrong?” he asks you as she walks away.

“Oh… no, not at all! She is just giving us some space, I mean… you, she’s giving you some space. Don’t worry, she thinks you’re really nice and sweet.”

“Sweet like ice cream?” he ask, more ou of curiosity than to actually tease you, but your nervous smile is just… priceless!

“Nah, you’re sweeter.” Shit! Now he’s blushing! Humph, he looks away grumpily, hating how you always manages to fluster him, somehow.

You two are walking to his place when you spot this popsicle little store. And he is wondering if you’re teasing him. Nah, probably not, you just know he likes ice cream. You know him so well…

“I want anything that is pink.” He says, smirking. And you just nod, avoiding his gaze. Hahaha, cute dork!

He notices your quick glances at him as he runs his tongue along the popsicle. He feels so stupid trying to be sexy, but at least you’re stupid enough to fall for it.

“Ahh, brain freeze!” you say flinching slightly before starting to lick it again. He finds it funny how you just complained about the bothering sensation and didn’t even hesitate to do it again, kinda like an…

“You’re just a little M, ain’t you?” you choke on the popsicle, which… makes him feel really aroused.

And as you walk him home all flustered, he can’t stop smirking, he finally got the upper hand on this flirting thing. He’s getting better and you’re allowing him on it, probably because you like him, and he… really likes you, he… probably even loves you.

“You’re such a narcissistic hoe, MC! Admit it!”

“No! It’s not about narcissism! It’s about… body praising! He was praising my body by taking photos of it and my reactions to his dirty talking,”

“I seriously can’t imagine that guy doing dirty talk, MC.”

“I can’t either… that’s what makes it so sexy, you know?”

“You are… so dirty for covering such an elegant man with your impure thoughts!”

“Ugh, I know… but I can’t help it, he’s just… he’s just elegantly sexy, I guess…”

Sexy? You think he’s… sexy? Well, it’s not like he haven’t heard this before, but coming from you makes it even harder to believe. He’s flattered, but he doesn’t feel like he’s sexy… oh, but the taking pics of your reactions while he talks dirty is very sexy, actually. Yeah… what would he say to you? “I love how your body shivers in anticipation for me.” “You’re so beautiful,I want to see everything, show me everything, MC!” no, too formal… “You like this, don’t you? You like being naked as I watch you with my camera? Dirty girl…” okay, better… “I can’t wait to turn this camera off and go to you, your body is driving me crazy, I won’t be able to control myself.” Okay… “I need to taste you, then make you beg for me to feel you, I’ll make you beg for my cock, my slutty little gi…” oh no, too much, and he would never call you a slut. Ugh… your friend is right, he really sucks at this.

“Hello, ladies!” he says walking into the kitchen of your place, you and your friend were grabbing more snacks for this little get together and he overheard this talk when he realized he needed to help you two. “Can I help you with that?”

“Oh, I’m good, but you can help MC.” Your friend says, shoving the packages in your arms and running out of there. He chuckles as you glare at her.

“You… really don’t have to do that, V. You’re a guest, don’t worry.”

“Oh, please allow me on helping you being a good hostess, would you? It would be an honor…”

“Yeah, sure. I don’t reall know how to say no to you.” You admit chuckling.

“Really now? So I suppose you wouldn’t say no if I ask to take a picture of you?” oh… the dream… he didn’t mean it like that. It’s just… you look really beautiful under this light and… ahh, your blushing face is so adorable, it only makes him feel like taking a lot of pictures! “I’m sorry, I got ahead of myself. Let me help you with this.”

And he keeps helping you being a good hostess for most of the night, some of your friends even remark on how it looks like you two are a couple celebrating a little housewarming, which makes you both blush and delight at each other’s flustered expressions. Of course he stayed to help you cleaning afterwards.

“It was a lovely party, MC. Thanks for inviting me.”

“Oh, I was really glad that you came, you know? Even though it’s embarrassing, my house is such a mess and my taste for decoration is so… all over the place!”

“I know… well, I suppose that’s just one of the things that makes you really sexy.” He quickly looks away, not daring to stare at you and your reaction to his sudden boldness. “I… should get going, it’s getting late.

You nod and walk him to the door. And as he looks at you to say goodbye, he finally sees your expression, and it is… breathtaking! Oh… he would love to get a pic of this! He would love to take pics of every single one of your reactions. For example, how would you react if he ever confessed that he loves you?

00fabolous  asked:

May I ask headcanons for Izuku, Shoto and Katsuki(separately)where they got transformed into dogs and their crush notice them and take care of them without knowing the dog is a real person? Maybe an happy ending? I hope my request isn't too detailed/unclear. Thanks and have a nice day!😊

I’m in love with this idea! So much so that I got a bit carried away.

Izuku Midoriya

  • While the predicament he found himself in wasn’t ideal, Midoriya decided to see the bright side of things.
  • To start, some of his senses had been heightened so there was stuff he could pick up on that he couldn’t before. Though there was some unwanted attention from kids and the fact that he had been turned into a small breed. If only he’d been a bit bigger.
  • Of course, all those complaints went away the moment you stumbled into him in some alley and immediately took him into your arms.
  • Never before had he been that close to you and he could feel a blush coming on. If he was in his original form that it. As a dog, he just felt comfortably warm and a little bit jittery. His tail was wagging like crazy.
  • “Hey, there little guy.” You cooed as you pet his soft fur. Looking for a collar you didn’t find one, so you decided to do the only logical thing you could think of—take him home. “You’re coming with me.”
  • On the way to your house, you stopped by a small animal shop and bought him some food.
  • Midoriya thought that wasn’t necessary, seeing as he wasn’t an actual dog and all. But when you arrived home and placed a full bowl of kibble in front of him, he couldn’t help but eat it all. It was surprisingly delicious. (Though the aftertaste that came once he was back to being human was very unpleasant.)
  • After he ate you picked him up again and decided to cuddle with the small fella as you watched a movie, only to end up with a very embarrassed Midoriya an hour later.

Shoto Todoroki

  • How it happened, Todoroki does not remember. All he knows is that one second he was walking about on two legs, heading home, and the next he was walking on four legs.
  • Confused and not wanting anyone he knew to see him this way, he decided to take a walk around the city to see if this went away. It was probably some villains quirk.
  • How odd, he thought. It was rather a helpful quirk, but it wasn’t that powerful. In a confrontation, it did minimize the enemy’s ability to fight back, but it didn’t stop them from following or even discovering who they were.
  • But a fight with a villain wasn’t his concern at the moment. He needed to know if this was permanent or not. He figured it wasn’t because there was usually a limit to each quirk, but he didn’t know how long this would last. A few minutes? An hour? A day? What if it lasted longer?
  • As he was trying to figure it all out, he walked into someone’s legs. To his surprise, it ended up being you.
  • This wasn’t good. He’d barely managed to start talking with you in class after a cold start, due to him not being the best with people, and now you were seeing him like this. Not that you actually knew who he was in his new form.
  • Bending down you stretched a hand out, asking for permission to pet him. When he didn’t show any signs of running away or biting you, you proceeded to pet him.
  • “You know, your eyes remind me of someone.” The words slipped out as you pet the dog. It was curious though. One eye was grey and the other was a light blue, almost turquoise just like Todoroki’s.
  • At this he froze and stepped away, confusing you. Had you made him angry by touching a place he didn’t like?
  • “Did I hurt you?” You obviously didn’t get a reply, but he didn’t step away again when scooted closer again.
  • Later that day, after having taken him home and taking him a bath, you were having fun combing his hair. It was really soft and the color was gorgeous.
  • But as you were finishing up, a sudden puff of smoke blurred your vision and when it cleared instead of having a dog before you, you had a nicely combed Todoroki.
  • Long story short, you had a lot to talk about after that.

Katsuki Bakugo

  • Bakugo could not believe his bad luck. Why’d he have to go and get himself turned into a freaking dog?
  • He was fuming. In his original form, you’d be able to see his shoulders shaking in anger, his scowl and the unmistakable sparks of his quirk as he got ready to blow someone up. But in this new form, all he could do was growl to release some frustration.
  • As he walked down the street–nose high in the air in search of his house, the only thing he actually appreciated of his new form–he caught a whiff of an oddly familiar smell.
  • It wasn’t until you walked up to him that he realized where he’d smelled that scent before.
  • Everyone else that had tried to approach him had been greeted in a very hostile way. They were lucky if all they got was a growl, but he’d thrown some bites as well.
  • But when you reached him, he just stared. He wasn’t sure what you’d do and was actually a bit nervous. Did you recognize him in this form? Where you mistaking him for someone else’s dog? Did you think he was an actual dog?
  • “Hey, buddy. Why are you all alone? No collar? Should I take you home?”
  • He wanted to answer your questions. To tell you that he was not an actual dog, that he did not want you to take him home. Not like this at least. But instead, he accidentally barked at you.
  • “Whoops, sorry. Came on kinda strong trying to pet you just like that, huh? Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you.” Smiling you reached your hand again.
  • Feeling odd and a bit defensive in his new state, he growled and took a step back to which you pulled back from as well. He immediately regretted it and lowered his head a bit, to which you happily reached a hand to scratch behind his ears.
  • Never before had you met a dog that did that. And never before had Bakugo thought getting scratched behind the ears would feel so good. He pressed his head further into your hand, and before you knew it he had followed you all the way home.
  • When he finally turned back into his original form, it was kind of awkward. You’d noticed just how dirty his paws had been from walking all around town and decided to take him a bath. Just as you were drying him up with a towel he reverted back and let’s just say you were surprised.

PART 1 || PART 2 || PART 3 || PART 4 || PART 5 || PART 6 || PART 7 || PART 8 || PART 9 || PART 10 || PART 11 || PART 12

Fine, maybe I got a little carried away with this, but I really couldn’t miss the chance to introduce @nyiro‘s Original Character Trish Danvers.
I didn’t asked her permission as well as I did for Replica’s Statilio and Berunov’s Caveira, so I expect her to be a little surprised, but also a bit upset since Jack Morrison is Trish’s love interest and in my comic, you know, he’s kinda “married” to Gabriel. Ough, she’s gonna kill me for this, then. Sorry, Pati, I’M SORRY.

Leonardo Siani and his grandaughter Margherita are actually my Overwatch OCs and I have strategical plans for them in this comic, but I don’t want to talk about them now because you’ll learn more ahead.

All I want to say is this: the end is near. Three more parts (+ a nsfw bonus sequence) and we are done, guys. This comic has been sucking my spare time and sleep for the past two weeks and I’m sure I’m gonna miss it. (That’s why I’m already planning a new one)

Now let me quickly add some notes:

  • I hope reading my handwriting wasn’t that painful as I’m sure it was. I changed character in Jack’s lines, I hope it helped.
  • Cocky Athena, hell yeah!
  • Imagine this place being Watchpoint: Gibraltar even if it doesn’t look like Watchpoint: Gibraltar. It’s important.
  • The initial idea for this sequence was simply Jack + boring “paperwork.” Everything else came later.
  • The “screens” are holograms, actually. I thought it was a cool idea (and easier to draw than an entire computer.) Also, in the end I got tired to put the graphics everytime so I sent them to screensaver (Overwatch Logo, ofc)
  • Talking about Athena again, I don’t know much about her, but if I’m not mistaken she’s major related to Winston as his personal advisor, but I like to think of her like an advisor to all the Overwatch Agents. This should explain why she’s so present in this comic.
  • I don’t know why I put a second desk with Gabriel’s name on it. It has definitely no sense. ??? Lawyer!Jack and Secretary!Gabriel AU easter egg maybe ???
  • Yeah, I lied again. This is not the hurting part. I’ll stop saying that just to be sure.
  • This part is boring, and I’m aware of that, but necessary.

to be continued

never gonna show up again club featuring brand new member drippy longstocking.

i got carried away a bit and i’m not sure if this is even that funny but whatever i’ve got a fever and i’m delirious. things get very anime when kagami starts fighting

i’m still working on marichat may day 6 and 7 will prob post 6 later tonight

previously: [x] maybe i should make a masterpost or something

So these are my irrelevant thoughts on the discourse

I want to start by saying that I was one of the people sharing the room theory here on tumblr, and that that’s perfectly okay. There is nothing wrong with taking part on these things. I consider tumblr to be a safe space for us fans to creat our content and joke around. It’s the place where we interact with each other, we published our fics, and smutty art. Dan and Phil know that, it’s okay for us to share those theories here because they have no interest in seeing the shit that we’re up to. This is how the phandom works on tumblr (mostly). However, when you take this theories and other phan things to websites like twitter or youtube where we interact with them it stops being okay. It’s not okay for us to preasure and bother dnp. It’s not okay to force them to do anything or shove phan in their faces. To all of those people commenting on phil’s video about how the video was fake because of the hour thing..fuck you. And yes I did reblog posts about just that, and it was kind of joking but it also wasn’t, but that’s okay because I did it here on my unpopular tumblr that dnp will never see. We have a right to creat our content and joke around, we’re a community and that’s what we do, but we have no right to disrespect them or violate their privacy.

I don’t think phil made the video to shut down theories, he’s a thirty year old man and he’s above that. I saw a post by @pseudophan saying that he probably just wanted to make a funny video that we would like and I totally agree. Maybe he lied to make the video, maybe he didn’t and the computer was just being weird, Either way let the man live!!

Do I believe in the theory? honestly, yeah

Will I keep posting about it while it’s still funny and relevant? clearly

WIll I ever say something to dnp about it or post it where they can see it? fuck no

So I had this idea... Au where Peter is a petty criminal and kisses Tony (who he obviously didn't realize is THE Tony Stark) to distract him from the fact that Peter is stealing his wallet. Little did he know, Tony tracked his wallet straight to Peter, and he says that Peter can keep the wallet if Tony can keep him. Idk it might be a dumb idea and if you don't want to write it maybe just give me your opinion?

I absolutely adored this idea and I think I got a little bit carried away while writing it,,, but I hope you like it

Part 2 // Part 3

Peter had his eyes on him the moment the man entered the bar, immediately drawn to the tailored clothes and expensive watch adorning his wrist, every inch of him oozing class and wealth. He was clearly filthy rich and incredibly handsome to boot and, to Peter’s surprise, he didn’t even have to work to catch the stranger’s eyes. This would be too easy.

The man sat down on one of the barstools, leaving a few empty ones between him and Peter, but Peter wasn’t having any of that and without hesitation he moved over and slipped onto the stool next to him, giving him a flirtatious smile.

I don't know if you are taking requests or prompts but maybe a fic about Lance having been captured by Lotor and when he's rescued his hair starts Turing white from the PTSD and bottled up stress. Which Lance would be ashamed or scared about/of telling the team or something?

Ooohhh interesting!!! Sorry if this is a bit long, I kinda got carried away. Hope you like it! 🖤
When the team rescued Lance from Lotor, to say that he was relieved was an understatement. He had been missing for a few weeks after some of Lotor guards captured him on a solo mission. Lotor had took a interest to him and wanted him as a pet, all to himself. When Lotor quickly discovered that Lance wasn’t going down without a fight, he put Lance through various torture, physically, emotionally, and mentally. He now had scars covering his back, arms and thighs. But that couldn’t compare to the mental scarring. Lance was often plagued with nightmares, him hurting his team, the team telling him he was worthless and replaceable. And it didn’t end there.

Lance would have to stop himself from flinching every time one of his friends touched him. His instincts would tell him to get away, to fight, stop them, convinced that they were trying to hurt him. He also couldn’t stop the panic attacks. He could feel them coming on, but they always happened randomly, often while he was training with the others. He would give a lame excuse, ignoring the concerned looks from the others, and went to his room to shut them all out, to ride out the attack on his own. All these attacks and stress was pulling a toll on Lance, he was often exhausted in every way, bags under his eyes. It wasn’t until one morning that he noticed that something else about his physical appearance had changed.

Lance had woken up from a fitful sleep like many nights before and went into the bathroom to wask off his face mask. He cupped the water in his hands, splashing it in his face to wake himself up and wash his skin. He grabbed a blue towel and began to dry his face. When he finally dropped the towel to look at himself in the mirror, that’s when he noticed. He jaw fell opened and he vigorously rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. Nope, he was awake. Slowly, Lance brought a hand to his hair. His warm brunette hair was just as shaggy as every, but it was now streaked with white. Several white locks drastically stood out, Lance pulling at them gently. He kept toying with them in shock, staring at them in disbelief, he quickly grabbed his brush and went to work, trying to cover as much of the white as possible. After a few unsuccessful minutes, he threw his brush to the floor, running his hands through his newly colored locks. He quickly stumbled out of his bathroom, going back to his bedroom, rummaging around the drawers and cabinets.

“Aha!” Lance smirked as he found a blue baseball cap in one of the compartments.
He then changed out of his pajamas and into his normal clothes, putting on the hat as the final touch. Lance looked at himself in the mirror one last time. He frowned at his reflection. He didn’t want the team to find out. It was kind of embarrassing and he was ashamed of it. He didn’t want the team to view him differently or seeing him as weak. So, he decided he would keep it to himself. With a determined nod, he stalked out of his room, ready to face the day.
“Uhh…Lance?” Pidge asked, dropping the pen cap they had been chewing on. “What are you wearing?”
Lance turned toward them and striked a pose, trying to cover up his nerves.
“Oh you mean THIS?” He explained, pointing to his new hat. “Just trying out a new style. I mean, I look great in everything, don’t you agree?”
Pidge scoffed and rolled her eyes, the others walking into the dining room where they were. Keith arched an eyebrow when he took in Lance’s appearance.
“What’s with the hat?”
Lance wriggled his eyebrows and gave him a smirk. “Why do you ask mullet? Are you jealous that I can pull it off better than you? I used to play baseball with my family, so I can totally rock this look.”
Lance striked a few more poses, causing the others to laugh and shake their heads. They finally dropped the subject and went about their business. Lance let out a sigh of relief and walk out of the room, trying to go about his day as normal as possible. The day had come to an end and the team was all getting ready for bed. Lance had managed to pass by with flying colors, nobody finding about his new look. When he told the others good night and shut his room door behind him, he ripped off the hat and practically ran to the bathroom mirror. With a sigh of relief, he noticed that he hair hadn’t changed. Sure there was still some white, but it hadn’t spread. He stripped out of his clothes, and tried to get a peaceful night sleep, hoping that all would go back to normal.
When Lance woke up the following morning, he felt refreshed. It was the first night that he didn’t have any dreams or nightmares. A small smile began to spread across his face. He thought things were finally going his way. He kicked his covers off of him, and made his way to the bathroom to do his morning routine. He hummed to himself as he put toothpaste on his toothbrush, raising it to his mouth. When he saw his reflection, however, the toothbrush fell to the counter, dropping toothpaste all over. With a shaky hands, Lance softly touched the mirror, willing that what he was seeing was just some sort of nightmare, anything other than reality. Lance closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths.

When he slowly opened his eyes, his heart sank. His reflection, HE, ran his fingers through his hair, but this time, there was no brown color. His hair had completely turned white. Lance couldn’t help the tears that spilled from his eyes. He cursed under his breath and stormed out of the bedroom, looking for the baseball cap. He placed it back on his head and willed himself to take a few calming breaths. He went back to the mirror to look at his reflection. He braced his palms on the counter, gripping the edges so tight that his knuckles began to turn white. He closed his eyes and straightened up. He couldn’t let the others find out. He wouldn’t. Whether he had to keep wearing that stupid hat or find some hair dye at a space small, he would find someway to keep this secret to himself. He didn’t want to be viewed as weak, as a freak. He had to be strong. He opened his eyes and muttered to his reflection while glaring.
“Fake it ‘till you make it.”

The Bet

Bucky Barnes x Stark!Reader

Request: Can you write a Bucky x Reader one shot where they are sparring and one of them gets pinned to the mat and they kiss? Fluff with a bit of teasing? (Maybe from the other avengers?)
Genre: Romance/fluff
Rating: T
Warnings: Swearings, a few dirty innuendos? Idek
1,577 words

Notes: I’M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS REQUEST BECAUSE I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT. I’m so so sorry it took this long, darling anon. It took this long and it’s not even that good but I hope you like it anyway! <3 Thank you for the request! :’) (I got carried away with yours too, lmao)

Wrapping up the bandages around your knuckles and wrists in the Tower’s training room, you sighed slightly annoyed.

It was friday: the day you’d always have a sparring session with Natasha.

The ritual started against your own will but your dad (a.k.a Iron Man) was convinced that you needed some self defense classes, putting Natasha as your teacher.

Now, you actually enjoyed the whole thing. It made wonders to your body, you actually knew a few moves now and Nat turned into a partner (not just a teacher, even if she could still beat your ass).

It had gradually turned into something you could work your stress and frustrations off.

And you just had a shitty week: spending all your time with your face buried between books studying for your college finals, your teachers apparently giving you a hard time just because you were Tony Stark’s daughter, almost failing your favorite class…

Just in the day you were most looking foward to work out, Natasha was unusually late.

Lullaby (request)

Hello, my sweeties ♥

I got a request from the lovely and very supportive @darthseph and I finally wrote it. I got a bit carried away with the idea (like I always do for some reason) - I hope you will still like it ♥ Thank you for your request ♥

Request summary:  could you write a one shot where the reader wakes up for water or something in the middle of the night and finds Bucky getting sick, so she stays with him?

Sushi after a mission was a blessing, an unquenchable thirst afterward was not.

You got up for the second time that night and padded down to the kitchen. This time you thought that maybe it was wise to bring a whole pitcher of water with you back to the bedroom. Or a garden hose.

You yawned all the way to the kitchen and gulped down a tall glass of water. You poured yourself one more, with ice, for the rest of the night and went back to your room.

As you passed the bathroom you heard a strange sound coming out of it - like a strained moan. You went inside and turned on the lights, but it was empty and quiet, and certainly nobody there. You were just about to leave, when you heard a groan - this time you were certain. But it sounded like it came from inside the wall, and you shivered. You waited, and the groan came again, followed by a soft “Fuck”.

You recognised the voice.

“Bucky?” You asked the bathroom. Where was he?

You went back out into the hall and realised, that the next room was his bedroom - and the two bathrooms - his private one and the one in the hall - must be sharing a wall.

You went to Bucky’s door and stood silently, hesitating. You tried to strain your hearing, but no sound came from his room. You knocked softly.

No answer.

You tried the door, but it was locked. You knocked again, louder.

No answer.

Damn it. You went back into the common bathroom and listened. There was water running from behind the wall and some groans. You heard a thud and a moan and that was the last straw.

You ran back to his door and forced the lock.

You’ll apologise and replace it later.

You shut the door quietly and went to his bathroom door. The door was slightly ajar, a thin stripe of light falling on the floor. You knocked.

You heard him gasp and move around.

“Y/N?” He asked, his voice shaky.

“May I come in?” You asked, your palm flat on the door and anxiety creeping up your back. You were too worried about him all the time and it drove you nuts.

“Yeah.” He said.

His voice sounded very strange. Defeated and deep.

You pushed the door open and walked in, your heart skipping a beat at Bucky’s appearance.

He sat on the floor near the toilet bowl. His hair was messy at the sides and slick at the top, like he tried to brush it away with his hands over and over again, but a few strands fell into his eyes anyway. His face was wet, water dripping down to his naked chest. He was wearing his pajama pants and shaking ever so slightly.

“What the hell happened, Bucky?” You asked, your voice cracking.

You sat on the floor near him and took his hand. It was cold and clammy.

He just shook his head, his eyes shut. His Adam’s apple was bobbing nervously.

“Did you have a bad dream?” You asked.

He nodded, sucking in air through his teeth.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” You said softly.

He shook his head and opened his eyes.

They were so blue - for a second you forgot how to breathe. His pained expression and red-rimmed eyes broke your heart into a million little pieces and you wanted to wrap yourself around him and never let go.

“Can I do anything for you?” You asked, sliding a bit closer to him on the floor, still squeezing his hand.

He nodded.

“Stay.” He whispered.

You smiled and slid even closer.

Your knee touched his knee and he jumped.

You stroked his hand with your thumb.

“Y-Yeah?” He whispered hoarsely.

“Why are you on the floor near the toilet?”

He was silent.

“Are you feeling sick?”

He nodded, closing his eyes again.

“Would you like some iced water?”

He looked at you and you wanted to kiss the eyelids that had the privilege of shielding his beautiful blues every day.

You got up, still holding his hand and he got up slowly too. He stood in front of you, taller and broader but he seemed smaller and you wanted to comfort him. He was looking at your feet.

“Will you stay?” He asked quietly, clenching his fingers around yours.

You leaned in and hugged him and he immediately threw his arms around you, exhaling with relief.

“Let’s go to bed. I’ll stay with you.”

You walked out of the bathroom, hands still connected and you picked up you glass of iced water from the dresser. You handed it to him and he took a sip, nodding gratefully.

“Lay down.” You said softly.

He obeyed and pulled you down with him. You tugged at the covers and climbed under them, covering him too. You were both half-sitting on the pillows, and he pulled you close to his chest, burying his face in your hair. You stroked his side, trying not to react to his naked skin. You wondered what the hell happened to him so that he didn’t even notice he was half naked.

You were good friends, and on numerous occasions, you thought that maybe, just maybe - even more than that. But just when you thought he was gonna make a move - he smiled coyly and changed the subject. So you pushed your feelings away and decided to be the best friend he could ever have.

You heard his uneven breath and looked up at him.

He looked at you.

“I’m here.” You said.

“I know, doll.” He brushed your hair out of your face. “Thank you for staying.”

You sit up more, leaning against the headboard and touching his shoulder.

“I feel sick.” He said, squeezing his eyes shut.

You gave him the water again, but he didn’t drink it, and just held it.

“Y/N, what’s wrong with me?”

“Nothing is wrong with you,” You said, almost angry, “You’re perfect.”

The last part was almost a whisper. He was very close.

“That agent at the Hydra base today.” He said suddenly.

“Did you see what I…”

You turned your body and took his face in your palms.

“Bucky, his arm got caught in that thing, it wasn’t your fault. We tried to help him, but he attacked you anyway.”

“I ripped it off.” He said, his voice breaking. He seemed to shrink under your gaze and you saw a tear roll down his cheek.

“Bucky…” You hugged his shoulders and pressed yourself to him, hoping it would help even a little bit.

“It is not your fault. Nothing is your fault.”

He clang to you, silently shaking.

You hoped you could make him relax and fall asleep. He clawed at your back.

You got an idea, but you felt a bit shy.

“Do you feel tired, Bucky?” You asked.

He shook his head into your neck.

You took a deep breath. And you sang, softly and tenderly.

Lavenders blue

Dilly Dilly

Lavenders green

When I am Queen

Dilly Dilly

You shall be king

Who told you so

Dilly Dilly

Who told you so

‘Twas my own heart

Dilly Dilly

That told me so

He looked up at you, his eyes red.

“What was that?” He asked, his voice husky. He looked so sweet and hopeful, you couldn’t take it.

“It’s an old English lullaby. I thought maybe… You’d sleep…”

“Sing some more.” He said. His lips were parted and his eyes puffy, but he was still so irresistible… No, no, no! You made yourself swallow everything but your concern for him and hugged him tighter. He put your head on his chest and stroked your hair.

Call up your men

Dilly Dilly

Stand them to work

Some to the plow

Dilly Silly

Some to the fork

Some to make hey

Dilly Dilly

Some to cut corn

While you and I

Dilly Dilly

Kepp ourselves warm

You sang the chorus again while tracing random patterns on his chest. You felt his breathing slow down and he stopped shaking. He pressed you closer and closer to him and planted a soft kiss at the top of your head.

“Thank you, Y/N.”

“You’re welcome.”

You sat in silence for a few moments, before you stirred a bit.

He gave a small start.

“Are you leaving?” He asked, worry evident in his voice.

“No way.” You smiled, “I just wanna turn the light off.”

You clicked the bedside table lamp off and leaned back into Bucky.

“I’m staying with you.” You whispered.

He kept holding you.

“You’re… so important.”

You looked at him, even though it was completely dark and you just guessed how nervous he looked from how his heartbeat picked up under your hand.

“I forced open the lock on your door.” You said, immediately regretting it. You had no idea what he meant by that beautiful sentence.

You did actually have an idea, but you wanted him to clarify it because if you guessed and went for it you were just setting yourself up for potential heartbreak.

He chuckled and your heart warmed at the sound, reassuring you that his panic attack was gone.

“I forgive you.” He said quietly.

You put your head back on his chest.

You listened to his heartbeat and felt your own synchronize with him.

He slid his hand down your back and then up, laying you both down.

“My Y/N.” He said sleepily.

Well, you calmed down his panic attack. But now you were about to have one yourself.

Damn it.

I just read your super hero au and I love it!!! The art of Shiro and Kuro on the rooftop reminds me of nightwing and redhood a lot (was that the point?) I was wondering how Luro works into the au? Especially since they probably fought with other before Kuro reclaimed his memories and sense of self.

Haha, yes, I heard that a lot. :D Actually I haven’t looked into the whole nightwing and redhood thing, yet.

Okay, so here’s what I thought of:

I guess, since the Paladins have a lot of run-ins with Kuro, he and Lance met on more than one occassion.

Maybe one of their fights went sideways and the two get buried under a collapsed building or something. Kuro’s bionic arm gets crushed, so attacking the Sharpshooter isn’t an option for him. They’re stuck together in a confined space and have to wait until the Paladins dig them out.

That’s when they start talking - because seriously, Kuro’s quite averse to the idea of getting a bullet stuck in his head. Little charmer he is, he plays it nice with Lance and they kinda bond over smaller things. Lance realizes, that there’s more to Kuro than he might let on. More humanity. And well… Kuro realizes that there’s definitely something wrong with him, as in, someone tampered with his mind.

When they’re finally freed, Kuro is able to escape the Paladins once more. Allthough he’s still with the bad guys, he can’t stop thinking about what Lance told him… that there’s still good in him.

Next time they encounter each other, Kuro gets the opportunity to kill Lance, but spares him. After that it’s Lance’s turn to let Kuro go. And so on and so forth. They develop a strange kind of respect for each other… a strange kind of affection even. At one point Kuro even goes so far as to seek out Lance - at night maybe, on a roof top while Lance’s on a job. He just sits there and watches the Sharpshooter in action, maybe talks about some rumors he picked up on the street, and then leaves again.

And thaaat’s where things start to get interesting for the two of them. :3

I hope that wasn’t too long xD I got a bit carried away.

I’m a bit overexcited but I’d love to read a reaction in which the members doubt themselves (about looks or characteristics or smth) and want to break up with their s/o because they feel like they aren’t enough (heavy angst oh boy) but with a happy ending in which their s/o reassures them and they kiss, hug etc… just fluff :) Not sure if you write angst but yeah that’d be great <3
