maybe she's trying to tell me something

I think I fell in love with her, a little bit. Isn’t that dumb? But it was like I knew her. Like she was my oldest, dearest friend. The kind of person you can tell anything to, no matter how bad, and they’ll still love you, because they know you. I wanted to go with her. I wanted her to notice me. And then she stopped walking. Under the moon, she stopped. And looked at us. She looked at me. Maybe she was trying to tell me something; I don’t know. She probably didn’t even know I was there. But I’ll always love her. All my life.

Sanvers prompt: How about oblivious!Kara with Alex and Maggie. Like Wynonna Earp with Wayhaught. So like Kara can't tell when Maggie Is hardcore flirting with her sister, and when Alex and Maggie are making out at work, Kara uses her X ray vision and thats how she finds out about them.

“C’mon Danvers…Eyebrows raised as Maggie flashed Alex a look. She was trying to convince her to show her around the DEO, maybe sneak her off to an office somewhere where no one would find them. Alex, on the other hand, was trying her hardest not to mix business and pleasure.

Really, Sawyer? Alex rolled her eyes. Whatever was going on between herself and Maggie was new, it wasn’t something she was comfortable with her family at the DEO knowing about, yet.

Ah, Supergirl! Maggie snagged a passing Kara, pulling her into the debate. Tell Agent Danvers here it’s about time she gave me the grand tour of this place. If Alex wasn’t going to listen to her, maybe she’d listen to Supergirl instead.

Sure, that sounds like a great idea. Kara gave a nod, and held a small smile as she looked between Maggie and Alex.

See… you should listen to our Super friend here. Maggie added.

Kara just gave a proud nod. You should show her the big telescope.

Oh, I’d love to see your big telescope. There was a smirk creeping onto Maggie’s features, her eyes moving from Kara, to seek Alex’s gaze. …I’ll show you mine, if you show me yours. She teased.

Alex just let out a soft sigh, shooting Kara a glare.

NCPD have a telescope? A naive Kara interjected.

Maggie couldn’t hold back her laugh, and she shook her head. Uhm…

—I could show you around if you like, Detective?

Alex crossed her arms over her chest, somewhat defensively. I uh… I think— Winn was just looking for you.She lied to Kara.

Really? But I just…Kara trailed her words into a sigh, as her brow furrowed curiously. I just left him. Okay uhm… Rain check, Detective?

Maggie just gave a nod, as she tried not to laugh again. And as Kara disappeared to go find Winn, Alex’s gaze met with Maggie’s again, and they both breathed out a laugh.

She really that clueless? Asked Maggie, earning a nod from Alex.

But Alex was glad of Kara’s naivety.Fine, I’ll show you my office… She replied, hoping to avoid another awkward Maggie and Kara interaction.

Brow furrowed curiously, as Kara wandered back through the DEO. Winn didn’t know what Alex was talking about? But, why would she lie? Kara let a sigh pass her lips as her eyes scanned around for Alex or Maggie, but they were nowhere to be seen. And something she rarely did, because it was such an invasion of privacy.

Eyes narrowed, as Supergirl used her x-ray vision; scanning through the DEO…

Pale hands slipped inside Maggie’s leather jacket, holding her hips– pulling their bodies closer together. Maggie following suit; her hand moving up to rest softly against Alex’s face, as they brought their lips together.

It was so hard to get alone time. Alex’s life was all about work, and she was lucky she had met someone she could work with; no one would question her spending so much time with Maggie. But they couldn’t always be alone… especially with Supergirl showing up without warning.

Kara’s jaw dropped at the sigh, before returning to her normal vision, and she looked down for a moment. She was a little disheartened that Alex was sneaking around, that she hadn’t told her. But as she slowly started to walk away, Kara began to piece everything together. Maggie’s forward flirting, Alex’s defensiveness…

But Alex looked happy, and that’s what’s most important, right?

Here, @agelade, I did a quick little fix-it because NOPE FOREVER to that ending.

“Sam?”

Magda’s voice on the phone is shaky and scared and it sounds like maybe she’s been crying and Sam is instantly alert.

“Magda, hey. What’s wrong?”

“There was a man, he had a gun … I stopped him. I wasn’t trying to hurt him, but he was gonna shoot me and I think he might be dead and I don’t know what to do–”

“Hey, hey, OK, just tell me where you are, I’m coming to get you right now.”

She told him.

“OK, good. Is there somewhere a little less public you can wait for me? Do you think you can do that?”

Her voice is still shaky, but a little less panicky now. “Yeah. Yeah, I can do that.”

“Good. It’ll take a few hours, but I’ll be there as soon as I can. Try and drink some water, maybe eat something if you can, OK? I’m coming.”

OOOOFA.

OK, let’s hit this point by point.

1. Maybe don’t worry about giving me a chance if you’re being disappointed this greatly? Just scroll past, I stg I will keep on living.

2. So many of my fics are from Felicity’s perspective, and I see her as being very hard on herself, especially following the events of Havenrock. I think it’s a mistake to call that “blaming” her, and I’m sorry if anyone sees it that way.

3. Would you really prefer to think Felicity just is blindly dating a dude she hates? I was trying something. Thank you for telling me it disgusted you. Again, feel free to never read me again.

4. I have written so many fics about the things Oliver has done wrong idek.

5. In all seriousness, I don’t want to make anyone mad. Please don’t read anything that makes you feel like this.

Could she be afraid because she knows/feels as if her time with him is limited?

I tired…I tired to have conversations with you, but every time I message you, you never reply..do, do I bore you? Do I annoy you? Do I say something that makes you never want to reply? Did…did I make you hate me…? I try everything in my power to make you happy, I try, I try I try!

Maybe I shouldn’t try anymore, if you wanted to talk to me, then you would…

I guess you can always tell when your worth someone’s time…and I’m not worth yours.

Could you write an imagine where the grounders take Y/N, Finn’s sister, to get back at him for when he killed the innocents and they torture her in front of everyone while holding Finn back and then they leave her to bleed to death, Finn tried to do something but Clarke and Abby tell him to say his goodbye, and Y/N is trying to assure him that everything is gonna be okay and when She dies he just feels angry at himself and maybe he keeps remembering this time where he gave her a necklace he made and how happy she was? So sorry for the details Thanks :) ~Cait

Should Have Been Me

You were set up like a little human punching bag, on display for all of Arkadia to watch, but the grounders really only wanted to put this show on for your brother, Finn. They really liked to make a big spectacle of things and you were no exception. They had you tied to a wooden post on the edge of their camp, arms held up over your head. The survivors of Trikru were surrounding you with eyes of hatred and hunger for revenge. Ritual was what they called it, but it was torture – not just to you, but to Finn as well. You knew you could endure it, but you watched through the fence as tears streamed from your brother’s eyes.

The first grounder stepped up, knife in hand and took dragged its edge along the underside of your forearm. You could feel the blood trickle down, leaving you a sick, weak feeling. The grounder handed the knife off to the next person in line – an elderly man that looked you right in the eyes as he dug the knife along your side. You clenched your teeth, refusing to scream in pain. You didn’t think this man deserved the satisfaction.

One after another, the knife cut into you, releasing more and more blood that stained your clothes, poured across the ground. You head began to feel light and your vision started to blur.

“STOP! For god’s sakes, STOP!” Finn’s screams sounded distant. No one listened as another cut ran across your outer thigh. You didn’t have the strength to hold back your screams anymore. You let them ring out across the camp, signaling your defeat.

“Come say your last goodbyes!” you heard a grounder beckon Finn. Finn stood at the entrance to the camp, fist held so tight that blood seeped through his fingers.

“Go to her, Finn,” Clarke whispered to him. Once the gates were opened, he shot out like a bullet, bee-lining to you.

He stops suddenly before you, unable to lay a hand on your shredded skin.

“Y/N, Y/N I’m so sorry,” he sobbed.

“It’s okay. It’s going to be okay,” you coughed up, consoling him, “It’ll all be over now.”

Your head sank, but Finn caught it, lifting your face so that you could look at him.

“Stay with me, come on,” he begs.

“Take it, Finn,” you whisper to him, “Please take it.”

You nod your eyes to the necklace that wraps around your neck. The threads are stained red from the gash along your jaw line. He nods in confirmation, tears a waterfall down his face. He carefully detached the necklace from behind you as your head sank once more and he wraps it in his fist.

“Y/N?” he chokes. You head was limp, eyes closed.

“NO! NOOO!” he screamed. Abby and Clarke collected him from you, dragging him back to the safety of Arkadia. The gates closed behind them and Clarke and Abby released him.

“This is all my fault!” Finn shouted at them.

“Finn, I’m sorry,” Clarke apologized, crying as well.

“That should have been me out there! Not her! She didn’t do anything!” Finn continued, pacing about.

“Finn, it was her decision to give herself up,” Clarke reminded.

“You could have stopped this!” Finn growled at her. Clarke paused, hurt by his comment.

“She was the last person that deserved that,” Finn whispered to himself. He looked down at the necklace in his hand, thoughtfully. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth for only but a moment, but his fingers wrapped around it tightly, turning his knuckles white. He stormed off into camp in a rage.

Meredith: Please cheer up. It kills me seeing you in so much pain.

Anabelle: I’m sorry … I can’t help it, mom.

Meredith: Hmm. I’ll tell you what, how’s about I try and get in touch with Sonia’s parents. You said you three hung out all the time, maybe they would know something. Would that help?

Anabelle: Good luck. Me and Sonia didn’t exactly leave on good terms. She’s probably told them something to make them hate me, too. But it’s worth a shot.

Leo and Mattie just makes me super emotional and I love this current development of friendship and maybe something more.
Because Leo obviously thought that he would never be able to tell anyone what he really is, and only having his group of brother and sisters accept him isn’t the same. They were made to do that.
But there’s Mattie and she accepts Leo and is trying to understand and help him despite what he is and she is someone that he can tell what happened to him someone else he can rely on and trust. Which he probably never thought he would have.

I needed another videogame ship like a hole in the head AND YET HERE WE ARE.

The new recruit Duncan sends to him in Ostagar is a Dalish–girl? woman? She’s a little thing, but for all Alistair can tell she might be no younger than him. Her dark hair is short, her blue eyes are wide, and under the gently curving lines of ink on her face is an expression like someone’s just said something cruel to her and she’s caught between surprise and trying not to cry.

But she wears her rough leather armor and the two long daggers on her back like she knows what she’s about, and there’s something in her eyes, or maybe just something he can sense as a Grey Warden, that tells him she already knows the darkspawn and their taint.

Her name sounds like water trickling over stones when she says it to him–Oranni Mahariel.

“You know, it just occurred to me that there have never been many women in the Grey Wardens,” he comments, and it’s true on both counts; he’s only ever seen a handful, but he’s never given it much thought until now. “I wonder why that is?”

She blinks those huge eyes at him and asks in a tone of neutral curiosity, “You’d like to see more women among the Wardens, then?”

“Would that be so terrible?” Alistair asks, and then it occurs to him how she might be taking that sentiment. “Not that I’m some drooling lecher or anything. Please stop looking at me like that.”

Her brow is furrowed, but it doesn’t strike him as disapproval so much as puzzlement, as if she’s trying to figure him out. Alistair could tell her there’s not much to figure–he’s an idiot. He comes to Ostagar determined to make Duncan proud and serve as a good guide for the initiates, and the first time one of those initiates happens to be a pretty girl he trips over his own tongue and probably convinces her he’s either a lech or a fool.

And Maker, but she is pretty, even wearing a face like someone’s just kicked her in the shin. She studies him for another moment, and then the corners of her mouth curl up. She smiles tentatively, like she’s not used to it, but it doesn’t strike him as the smile of someone who thinks he’s an idiot, at least.

There’s a folder in my notes app on my phone, that folder is called “brain things”
And inside there are things like
“Draw a shark, but it has a dog head”
“How do mermaids have sex????”
“Why do people use ink and quills at Hogwarts??”
“What the hell is the meaning of anything?”
“Maybe try to talk to that girl who sits on that bench in the park, she seems interesting”
“Tell xxxxx something mean so they’ll regret saying xxxxxxxxx to me”
“Find out where xxxxx live so that when I threaten them it seems more realistic”

I don’t know I just wanted to write those down and put them somewhere lol

Dear Charlie,

Last two days were awful. I finally got drunk and texted her and I really don’t regret it. We’re talking again and I feel much better after venting out to her. Yesterday I also found a site with professional psychological help and I signed up. The lady I got matched with seems kinda… idk, I’m trying to tell her a lot about myself so she’s got something to work with but judging by that one reply I got from her she’s not treating me too seriously. Maybe if she could text me in proper coherent sentences (I’m not English native but it’s easier for me to talk about what I feel in English) then it would be better. No idea, though, that’s my first time reaching out for help. I’m taking therapy sessions, Charlie, that’s something completely unexpected. My parents have no idea. I’m living alone far from home, studying. Is that what being an adult is like? (also that lady makes a lot of mistakes while typing and as a linguistic major I can’t stop judging her, gee…)

Love,

Iv

Fred Weasley Imagine: “Saving you from Umbridge”

So I was thinking maybe a Fred imagine where y/n has detention with Umbridge & she denies that Dumbledore’s army exists, so Umbridge uses the cruciatis curse to get her to confess, but Fred senses something’s wrong &comes to the rescue? Thanks again!

Requested by @empty-tea-cans

“I always thought you were a clever girl/boy, y/l/n. So, tell me, what are you hiding from me?” Umbridge asked with her annoying voice.

You kept quiet with a passive expression on your face.

“You and your friends go somewhere together every now and then… What do you do?” she insisted, trying to sound polite and sweet. It only made you find her even more irritating, just like her toad face and her pink clothes. You didn’t show it though, and opted for replying: “I don’t know what you are talking about, Professor”

“Oh y/l/n. You and I both know that you are lying. That’s not something nice to do. I’ll forget about this little incident if you confess everything. It’s a good deal, don’t you think?”

You were dying to scream at her face to go to hell, but restrained yourself from doing so. Instead, you tried again: “I’m sorry, Professor. I really cannot help you”

She smirked at you evilly and murmured: “You sure can, y/l/n.”

She took her wand before you could react and said: “Cruci-“

“Expelliarmus!” a familiar masculine voice cried out before the witch could curse you.

“You!” she screamed with fury.

Fred smirked and said: “Yes, me”

“You’ll get detention for-“

“Petrificus Totalus!” he yelled, stopping her dead in her tracks.

“Are you ok?” he asked cupping your face a second later.

You nodded quickly and enfolded him in your arms, bringing him closer to you. He seemed shocked at first, but he eventually put his arms around you and hugged you back. Some tears were streaming down your face, and Fred cursed the woman who did this to you.

“I was so scared…” you managed to let out.

“I know. You are safe with me now” he told you with a gentle voice. And it was true. Being in his arms made you feel like home, like nothing or nobody could ever hurt you.

“How did you know?” you wondered. “Not that I’m complaining or anything…” you added fast.

He shrugged and admitted: “It was a feeling…”

He pulled away softly and caressed your cheek before saying: “We have to tell Dumbledore before the spell turns off…”

You nodded again and kissed his cheek after muttering a thank you. He turned as red as his hair and it made you giggle.

“Come on, Fred”

Together, you told everything to the headmaster.

The Alpha Shield Collection Master List

“I’m useless.” You sighed and glanced over at Stiles who was sat at his desk franticly researching while the others continued the fight at the school.

“You know you’re not the only one that feels like that, I’m here to.” Stiles span to look at you.

“You know Talia didn’t make a lick of sense when she spoke to me.” You groaned.

“Well maybe she was just trying to give you some I don’t know, motherly advice or something?” Stiles wasn’t really paying attention.

“It doesn’t make sense.” You sighed again.
