New Beginnings (part 2)
(Jacob x Reader)
You propped your head on your elbows and sunk back into your chair, watching the boy in front of you. How would you ever get rid of him again? You probably wouldn’t, you thought to yourself, not now that he had imprinted on you. Sure you could tell him to stay away or just leave after the battle like you had planned anyway but…that seemed kind of cruel even for you. Anyway he was cute so maybe he could stay around for a bit.
You tilt your head and sigh, “If you’re going to eat that much all the time I’m going to have to fill up the fridge.”
“Already planning for me to stay longer hm?” He asks cockily, making you roll your eyes at him.
“Just preparing for the worst case scenario.”
“Ouch, my company isn’t that bad, is it?”
“I’m in the process of deciding.”
“Anything I can do to help make your decision easier?” He jumps up from his chair and circles around the table, stopping right behind you with a predatory smile.
“What are you doing?” You say, getting a little nervous when he doesn’t move away and just stands there, breathing against your neck and making goosebumps appear.
“Nothing.” He answers with that damn innocence in his voice that makes you want to slap and kiss him at the same time.
His face draws nearer to your neck, lips ghosting along the line going down to your shoulders. He’s not yet touching you, which makes the feeling even worse. You let out a quiet whimper, earning you an amused chuckle from Jacob.
He takes his arms around your waist and pulls you flat against his chest, finally pressing his lips to your neck, biting and nipping softly at the skin there.
Someone clears his throat behind you and you jump up from your chair in horror, both of you spinning around quickly. Edward watches with his arms crossed before his chest, looking quite amused about what’s going on in his kitchen.
“We were just…I mean…it’s not what it looks like, we didn’t…” You stutter out, very embarrassed.
“So you weren’t making out with Jacob?”
“No?” Jacob asks with a grin.
“Shut up.” You mumble back at him with an annoyed face, “We weren’t making out, that would have looked a lot differently.”
“Care to show me?”
“Jacob! Damn it.”
“Well don’t mind me I was just passing by anyway.” Edward waves at the two of you and walks back up the stairs to his room.
“I hate you.”
“Come on that was fun, wasn’t it.”
“For you maybe.”
“Don’t push it puppy.” You say with a glare in his direction. Jacob starts to laugh, a smug expression forming on his face.
“You know, you’re always welcome to come over to my house, no other vampires distracting us there.”
“Very smooth.” You reply sarcastically, “I’ll think about it.” You add with a little smile, you’re not able to hide anymore. Having him around would definitely be fun and made your life a lot more interesting.
