In his regiment Maximilian Morrel was noted for his rigid observance, not only of the obligations imposed on a soldier, but also of the duties of a man; and he thus gained the name of “the stoic.” We need hardly say that many of those who gave him this epithet repeated it because they had heard it, and did not even know what it meant.
❤ Favorite Male: Edmond Dantes / The Count ❤ Favorite Female: Haydee ❤ Favorite Pairing: THE COUNT AND ALBERT OF COURSE *u* ❤ Least Favorite Character: Tie among Andrea Cavalcanti, Villefort, and Danglars >_> ❤ who’s most like me: Oh god…. I’d say I act more like Albert, tbh. ❤ most attractive: Edmond Dantes / The Count >v> ❤ three more characters that I like: ALBERT DE MORCERF/HERRERA, Franz d’Epinay, and Maximilian Morrell
I wish Gankutsuou did a little more to show relationship of the Morrel family to Edmond Dantes besides little hints here and there. Especially when the Count meets Maximilian at Albert’s home and becomes relieved to see that at least he turned out to be a kind person.
