max and emmy

theblondechippewa  asked:

Why the fuck did the dragons name shit "dragon berries" and "dragon ball"? That would be like us naming things "human berries" and "human ball". And does time work differently in the land of dragons or does max and emmy's mom just not give a shit when they're silent for hours?

How the hell did they find a damn dragon scale in a playroom??? The dragon tales writers thought nothing thru

childhood revampdragon tales

i wish, i wish with all my heart to fly with dragons in a land apart.

“i remember when you kids used to spend hours in your room, making up stories about flying with dragons - and then one day, it just stopped."

on the cusp of adulthood, max and emmy return to their childhood home to pack their things. for a long time, they dismissed their scaled and fiery memories as childhood imaginings, vivid daydreams taken too seriously. but a curious fixation and the whisper of an old familiar rhyme thrusts them back into the world they know so well.

but fire has faded to frost in dragon land. their scaled friends are long gone and the songs have gone quiet. war has raged hell in their haven. and it’s up to max and emmy to save them all.

The Daily Telegraph in Sydney published the photo in 1939 to accompany an article about the Bodenwieser dancers’ appearance in a prologue to A Kiss From Kiki at the Minerva Theatre on October 1. In 1941, it appeared in The Home magazine with the text noting that the Bodenwieser Ballet was “a most important force in our national culture.“
