London-based Matt Gallagher is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter who writes, records and performs his own music in addition to playing a wide range of covers in a mixture of styles.

His musical abilities have been recognised by the likes of BBC Introducing, who have previously invited him to play live on the radio, as well as the Royal College of Music, where he is currently a composer. This has led to performances of his music at venues such as the National Portrait Gallery in London.

As far as performing goes, Matt has played across the globe for a variety of different occasions. This has involved playing from as little as 10 people to as many as 1000, at grand weddings in New York City to private functions in the depths of London. Set lists for these events (aside from playing his own music) have ranged from jazz versions of The Beatles’ songs to covering current top 40 chart hits.

Matt is also an arranger of pop, jazz and classical music for weddings and private functions, which has so far included arranging for function bands, choirs and string quartets.
