matilda jones

Behold the future is female and belongs to Matilda Jones. This seven-year-old girl found a sword in Dozmary Pool where the legendary King Arthur lost his sword Excalibur during the Battle of Camlann.

While many have stated that this is merely a film prop, however, the father stated that the sword is “exactly Matilda’s height.” So maybe the rightful prop weapon has found its true owner.

This girl deserves some bragging rights.

For the nights you feel like having a Broadway marathon (Part 2)...

Front row of the thorns army for the home opener👌🏼 such a good game. Fangirled on the inside so hard after meeting Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris. Been trying to meet them since 2012ish, only took five years and some major luck while walking back to my car. Also had to explain who Chantel jones and Grace Gill were to some people, because I must of looked weird asking for a picture with two people not in a uniform.

A seven-year-old school girl had a legendary holiday after pulling a giant four-foot sword from the Cornish Lake where Arthur threw Excalibur. Matilda Jones was wading through water waist-deep at Dozmary Pool when she stumbled across the blade underwater.

Matilda shares her name with Empress Matilda, the daughter of King Henry I and heir to the English throne in the 12th century. While it may be exciting to believe a young with such a regal name has written her own chapter in the Arthurian legend - her father thinks the sword’s origins are more recent.

Mr Jones said: ‘I don’t think it’s particularly old. It’s probably an old film prop.’

“There is something you should understand about the way I work. When you need me but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go.”

The map is not the territory.

I would say I am living a life that’s not mine but that would be a lie. Rupert Penrose was a crook, a misfit. He would have never become part of the police. And in all truth neither would I have, if it wasn’t to cover my own tracks. I am living a life in-between, I’m living the spaces between a life and another. I’m living substitutes for life. And a man can only take so many substitutes.

Let the Stars Remind You (8/?)

“It’s ok Papa, you don’t have to worry. We can trust her, she’s just like me,” She says holding his hand. “She can hear the stars. She’s just like me.” she repeats, a look of wonder on her face. Killian looks down at her. His little girl, his Starfish, and isn’t sure. He still isn’t sure if rescuing Emma Swan is the best thing he’s ever done, or their undoing.

AN: And I’m back. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been super busy with the end of my term. This was also meant to be a split into two parts, but that didn’t happen. Hope you enjoy the super long chapter!

He got the call in the middle of the night. He doesn’t even process the news at first. He just remembers getting dressed; he wears two different shoes and doesn’t even remember the drive. He doesn’t remember walking into the hospital, looking for the nurse who called him. He doesn’t even remember her name.

He found her quickly, and she gave him a sad smile when she caught sight of him. She asked his name, but he could tell she already knew who he was based on sight.

She then led him to the room. It wasn’t really a room, just a hallway. It was just a hallway with a window a window to a room with a bunch of different babies. They were all in different colored blankets, some blue, others pink. Some had names, others didn’t.

“There, second from the left.” The nurse says. He sees her instantly. She’s tiny and wrapped in a pink blanket. There was no name. “Would you like to go in? Do you want to hold her?” She asks. Killian nods.
