this is me, always

Guys?….does the 2013 PSAT have its own fandom???….

Words cannot describe the beauty and elegance of Euler’s Identity. I learned of Euler’s Identity today in my Differential Equations class and, needless to say, it further supported my decision to become a mathematics major. This equation ties together an exponential, an imaginary number, pi, one, and zero. The exponential is used in Calculus to assist with logarithms/exponentials, pi is essential to Geometry, imaginary numbers were created to solve certain situations in Algebra (the square root of negative one), and one and zero are the building blocks of mathematics!

This equations ties everything together: Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and anything else one can possibly think of! I mean, if anything, this equation proves that there is some kind of order to the universe. It’s so unbelievable to me the significance math has on virtually everything. It’s incredible.
